Beautifully renovated old world charm hotel. Our room was indeed recently renovated and very luxurious bedding etc. The lounge with free coffee/ tea was similarly luxurious and a welcoming place to relax. Breakfast was good with many options. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always there, which is unusual. A few minutes walk to the station and to the Main Street with cafes. Highly recommend!

Location was spot on as it is about 5 minutes walk from the train station. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, especially their new trainee. The room was of a comfortable size, although if you are taller than 1.6m, don’t get room 317 as the shower is squeezy. There is a good selection for breakfast including lactose free milk. The hotel is close to the main shopping mall and 15 minutes walk from Maihaungen museum which is well worth the visit. Allow at least 3 hours.

It was absolutely amazing!!! I'm happy we chose this hotel, everything was great. 1. Location couldn't be any better if you want to be right in the city center (1 min from the main street and 2 min from the railway station). Besides, the bus stop is very close, so if you want to go to the biathlon complex or ski, it's easy. 2. Breakfasts were incredible! If you're thinking if you need them, trust me YOU DO. You'll have all the classics there (eggs, juices, ham, cheese, bakery) but besides, they have Norwegian national cheese, caviar, shrimps, and fish (their herring is the best). Highly recommended. 3. The room itself was pretty basic, nothing special, but the view was nice + we had enough space, so it was just fine. All the necessary stuff was in the bathroom. But there is no fridge in the room. 4. Hotel is not new but it gives you the warmest vibes so it feels like you came home. Cool lounge zone, good tea and coffee. 5. And huge thanks to the stuff! There was a female who met us, I don't remember your name, but you advised amazing beer and helped us with the buses. Thank you very much!

Doesn’t look much from outside but is a great place to stay in Lillehammer. Helpful friendly staff. Convenient location. Comfortable room. Good quality breakfast. Has a fitness room and sauna available. Best of all it has dedicated motorcycle parking spaces.

They were changing their IT system when we stayed which resulted in a few spurious emails.

The staff were very friendly and always helpful, even when the information I was seeking was not holiday related. (E.g, in November i'll be moving to Lillehammer to live/work and the staff, especially Ann Cecilie, gave me lots of helpful information regarding this). The breakfast buffet was one of the best i've ever encountered - fantastic choice.

My room was very comfortable but the only thing it lacked was a small chest of drawers. I stayed at the hotel for 10 nights and the hotel provided 5 clothes hangers, which was enough to hang my jackets and trousers. However, the rest of my clothes had to be kept in my suitcase under the bed.

Had a lovely stay at this lovely property, right at the center of the cute little town…Big room with many windows providing the lovely street views…coffee/hot water/hot chocolate machine/facility in the lounge area…They even kept croissants and fresh cut fruits for the guests at the lounge in the evening…Lovely breakfast spread…Very courteous and pleasant staff (the young boy, Gabriala and all the other staff)…loved our stay here…

The breakfast was very good. The breakfast room has big windows and looks out onto the street. The parking lot is right next to the hotel and was easy to access. The parking is free. The room and bed were very comfortable and clean. We appreciated the coffee and tea in the lobby and in the room. The staff was friendly. The only downside is that the hotel is older and the rugs are worn and showing their age, as are some of the furnishings. But the important things, like the comfort of the bed and the cleanliness of the room, were very good. The hotel is very convenient to the lovely downtown, which was walking distance away.

The room was perfect for us, the Superior room. I am sure some would say the hotel was a little dates, but we really likes that. It was very clean, which is the main thing. Location was fantastic, literally 2 mins from main centre of Lillehammer.

It was a little more expensive than I had hoped for. But there are cheaper rooms if that's your requirement.

So easy to walk around and see the city. Safe, clean, the staff was so friendly. We had skylights in our room so we could see the stars. Best part was the breakfast. After two weeks traveling this was the best breakfast overall in Norway and Iceland. Beds were comfortable and the shower was great. Loved it. Best rating!!!

There is nothing I could say bad about this place

Excellent location right near the railway station and walking distance to the tourist sights. Very pleasant and welcoming staff. Lovely character building with lots of interesting artwork. Loved the accommodation made for us in a room that had a two person attic area separated from our adult son's sleeping space below. Old style comfort. Really loved the terry robes and slippers. Great breakfast in a bright room with lots of room. Lots of choices, and good, healthy foods. Liked the real china used. Appreciated the way you could adjust the heat in the room.

Our only concern was the possibility that we might lose one of their unusual keys.
