It’s so beautiful and the bungalow was perfect. We were there in the off season so kayaks were included which was a bonus. The wildlife was incredible and the sea so warm. We saw dolphins out on the kayaks as well as flying fish and birds. Then capuchin and howler monkeys and iguanas around the grounds. The food in the restaurant was brilliant (LOVED the fish tacos) and the pool area was very pretty. We also walked in to Boca Chica which is a super cute fishing village and had some fresh fish at a local cafe. All in all it was fantastic.

The only thing that would have made it better was if the tiki bar was open more than just Saturdays, even for just an hour in the evening. The jetty is so pretty it would have been so nice to have a cocktail down there at sunset but the steps are too steep to carry a drink down in the evening.

My wife and I had the most incredible stay at this hidden gem of a hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were swept away by the tranquility, natural beauty, and warm hospitality that define this place. Our room was immaculate—beautifully designed, comfortable, and offering breathtaking views of the lush jungle all around us. Every morning felt like waking up in paradise, but one morning in particular stood out: we were gently awoken by the distant sound of howler monkeys, and to our amazement, we could see them right from our balcony! It was a magical, surreal experience that we’ll never forget. The location is perfect. Just a short, peaceful stroll through nature brings you to a stunning beach where we spent hours relaxing and soaking up the sun. The entire property feels like it’s been lovingly nestled into its surroundings, with nature ever-present but never intrusive. The food was consistently excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every meal was a delight, and the service made it even better. The staff were outstanding: friendly, attentive, and thoughtful in every interaction. Their attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed and made us feel truly cared for throughout our stay. While the swimming pool was on the smaller side, we still loved every moment we spent there. Surrounded by jungle sounds, it became our favorite spot to unwind in the afternoons. There’s something incredibly soothing about lounging in fresh water while listening to tropical birds and distant monkey calls. This was more than just a vacation—it was an experience that reconnected us with nature and each other. We left feeling refreshed, recharged, and already dreaming of our return. The room was spacious, quiet and very clean, the hotel in general was very pretty and the views were breathtaking. The staff treated us very well and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely go again.

The pool was a bit small and there were a lot of stairs throughout the property. After a couple of days our legs were hurting! The island tours should have the option for the guests to choose what they want to eat or drink at the beach, even if it has an extra cost. These are all little things, overall we loved it.

Beautiful setting; extremely friendly and helpful staff! We also enjoyed the restaurant. We stayed in the lowest cabana right by the beach and the peaceful view and sound of waves from our porch was lovely. Umbrellas provided by hotel up in restaurant and in accommodations were a helpful touch in case of showers.

Mattress had plastic cover with no pad under the sheet, so very sweaty for sleeping even with comfy air temp from A/C. A few small updates like replacing or fixing the wobbly floor lamp; for the price, furnishings were a bit tired.

The place is amazing and the location outstanding. The road to arrive is beautiful and well paved and only takes 30 min from Panam American 1. The room was a nice size with 2 queen beds, water and tea coffee. Cold AC and big wardrobe with a safe, bathroom was big and sparkling clean. Breakfast was delicious and had big portions. We also had lunch and dinner there and it was quite cheap with several vegan and veggie options (drinks $7 and veggie dishes $8-$12). Although we had a jungle view room The view is worth 180$ a night that we paid. Apparently in high season is a lot more expensive so not sure I would pay double that amount to be honest. The beach is small but lovely and there is a tiki bar (only open on Saturdays) and a small dock where you can sit and watch the world go by. So quiet and beautiful there but it's a steep short walk down to the beach/dock. You can organize tours from here although we didn’t do any. Lots of wildlife around the beautiful and large property, we had a howler monkey just by our room, very noisy monkey at 6am but all part of the fun and the jungle adventure! Highly recommended.

Pool has a nice view but very small, only 4 loungers there. One particular waiter was a bit distracted and messed up some of our orders, but apart from that all was great. A suggestion would be to let guests borrow kayaks and SUPs for free rather than charge for them since it's already a quite expensive accommodation.

Really loved this place. It is an exceptional gem and worth the trip to Boca Chica. The rooms and grounds were clean and well appointed with ocean and jungle views. There is a cute beach deck and nice pier with Tiki Bar for the guests as well as a pool. They offer many activities and arrange everything for you. The food was very good and the staff went out of their way to make you comfortable.

Concierge Juan very friendly and well spoken. Other staff were very helpful and tolerant of crazy americans. We were brought a hummingbird feeder once we were seen enjoying them so much at breakfast!

Could hear but not see howler monkeys! Seriously, it all was good. It is a bit beyond our usual budget.

This place really was one of the highlights of our trip through Panama! It was one of those hotels where you could feel people are doing it with their heart and truly care about making their guests an amazing time. The owner greets you personally, he was always there if we needed something, brought us fresh coconuts from the tree and tropical fruit to try. The staff was super friendly and quick. The food was very good, we loved the breakfast and dinners we had. You also have local coffee and tea in the room which is such a nice gesture. We also got lunches to go for our day trips, in a cooler with ice. The view is also great and we saw so many monkeys and birds and iguanas. Definitely recommend!

Some cushions on the patio and in the restaurant would have been nice. However I’m sure we could have asked for some.

We loved the size of the resort. It always felt like we were with just a few other couples. The staff was above and beyond for friendliness, knowledge, flexibility and service. They strived to make us feel welcome. Just the right amount of luxury while being a down to earth comfortable atmosphere.

Everything! Amazing location! Incredible staff! Beautifully taken care of property! Quality food with the freshest ingredients! A dream for kids with the rainforest and monkeys. My 6 year old still hasn’t gotten over it!
