I have been here once before and came back for a second visit. Both of my stays have been wonderful! The staff are so kind and during both of my visits, allowed me (and my cat) to check in early with no extra charges. The hotel offers sophisticated rooms that are both clean and pet friendly. In addition, the hotel offers an incredible spread of included breakfast options. The price of the hotel is a bit higher than what I normally pay as a solo traveler, however, you get what you pay for, and Hotel City Plaza and Suites is worth the price!

Friendly and helpful staff. Free airport shuttle. My room was huge! Had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant and both were pretty good. Shops, restaurants, and grocery stores in walking distance.

It may have been the location of my room, but traffic and on some nights music were pretty loud. I was facing the street with large windows. It wasn't bad enough that I wanted to change rooms, just good to be aware of it in case you want extra quiet.

The staff were phenomenal and allowed me to check-in a bit earlier than expected with no extra fee. Also, the hotel was pet friendly as advertised, located close to a Romero grocery store, and offered an included breakfast that left me feeling ready to take on the day ahead!

The Wifi did not work in my room, but it did work for me outside of my room and in all common spaces. Accordingly, I just did my work outside of my room. It was not a problem.

The entire staff of City Plaza was so incredible. I stayed here for nine days, and I didn’t want to leave today. Everyone was so friendly and helpful with taxis, ideas for what to see in Chiriqui. The restaurant is so convenient, and the food is delicious.

The only thing I can say is the noise because I was on the corner with traffic. If that bothers you, ask to be on the other side if available.

This is a normal, standard business hotel with the usual amenities. Breakfast was a good combination of continental, American and Panamanian items. The rooms were fine. Parking was scarce when we came, so we had to park behind some other cars, left our keys at the reception and when more space was available, they parked the car well and returned the keys to us. Although this was a minor inconvenience, it was an issue only once and the reception found a good solution.

Although breakfast was fine and from a buffet, we were not allowed to serve ourselves. Instead, the staff put food on our plates. As we were not fluent in Spanish and the staff spoke hardly any English, communicating what and how much we wanted of each item was difficult. We were not the only guests annoyed by this: Some Panamanian guests just helped themselves whenever the staff was busy serving other guests :)

Loved how spacious the room was, nice breakfast too. You can get a free shuttle if you request it from the airport. We found everyone who worked there to be very kind.

It was a little noisy in our room, which faced a main road. But you can ask to be put in a room in a different part of the hotel.

Vert clean nicely decorated rooms nice bathroom immaculate. Free parking. Good breakfast.

Glass of wine $10. And wasn't really good. Busy street area. I wanted to walk ta local Restaurant Boca chica" but no sidewalks and too much traffic so drive 5 minutes. Food was fabulous fresh and good prices. Pillows in room were a bit hard

front desk staff very nice and helpful structural integrity of the hotel is very good. there was a magnitude 6.3 earthquake when I was there, and while the entire hotel shook violently for 30 seconds, it didn’t collapse. if you’re worried about earthquakes, I recommend this hotel good location, close to supermarket, McDonald’s, good Lebanese restaurant nearby

would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room hot water gets EXTREMELY hot so be careful when you turn on the taps

Food= great. Chinese food ( can I steel the chef?) Room= very nice Location = good for what we needed to do. Close to a supermarket, perfect for us. Staff = super -1 Good we stayed more than one night to appreciate everyone else.

the girl at the restaurant bar, on March 10 2023 evening turn, was a 0 compared with all the other employees who were great. Not a look, not a smile, not one word. Basically, it's not a hospitality person.

I stayed for just one night, but everything was great. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was decent and had a good variety. Overall, a pleasant stay—no complaints!
