My family and I had an unforgettable stay at the Granada Beach Resort. The perfect location for a long relaxing stay with the best snorkeling we've ever experienced. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We really appreciated how the owner frequently went the extra mile to help us have an even better stay. The staff were extremely friendly. The house reef is truly a snorkelling adventurer's dream! You can see whale sharks in the wild too if you are lucky (and extremely patient). They can also organise the whale shark experience for you in Oslob, it is absolutely worth it. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Cebu.

The staff here were great, welcoming and kind. The owners take an active interest and want to make sure guests have a positive experience. The reef of the beach is great. We enjoyed snorkeling here for hours each day. Highly recommend reef shoes. We saw a turtle and loads of different fish. The food was varied and tasty and of an alright price. The bedroom was comfortable and the air cos was good. The setting is truly spectacular with gorgeous views. Really enjoyed the strict no children policy meaning it enhances the calm relaxing escape. I had a massage while there too which was further relaxing and had a lovely view across the water.

If you leave the resort then you need to get a bus or car to another town as there is nothing in the locale. But this does mean it is very relaxing to stay at the hotel, it is quiet and peaceful.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Granada Beach Resort near Oslob, and I can confidently give it an 8/10 rating. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making my stay truly enjoyable. As a marine biologist, I was particularly impressed by the stunning house reef. It was an absolute surprise to find such a vibrant and healthy ecosystem just steps from the beach. The reef was teeming with life, with a diverse array of hard corals like fire corals and staghorn corals. Further out, the reef continued to impress with good coral coverage and even some turtle sightings! This incredible underwater world is the main reason I would return to Granada Beach Resort in a heartbeat.

The food was okay but I have to admit I found most dishes a bit boring. I would hope for more Asian dishes and fewer european attempts such as lasagna.

This is a gem! We stayed in 8 different accommodations during our trip to the Philippines and this was our favourite by far. There is a pristine house reef and we spent a lot of time snorkelling from the private beach. The pool is lovely and the rooms were perfect! The food was good, they were very accommodating for vegetarians/vegans - we let them know in advance and had lots of options - thank you :) The view is spectacular and the resort has a lovely atmosphere, we felt like we were on holiday as soon as we arrived.

The resort is located with a fantastic view on a small headland. It is calm and no disturbing noices. The road is around 500 meters away and no disturbing noise from it. The resort is quite small which gives a feeling of being exclusive without being too small. The environment is very nice and includes a private beach where you also can snorkel (barrow equipment for free from the staff) to enjoy the reefs and maybe also get a glimpse of the sea turtles. The private beach is clean. Pool area is good. The pool is a bit odd since it is deep in the middle (around 200 cm) but shallow (around 50 cm) in both short sides, but it worked perfectly for me. The restaurant provides all what you probably can need during the stay. There is also a breakfast alternative (a bowl of granula which includes müsli, yoghurt and fresh fruits) working perfect for a man from Sweden used to ”real” breakfast and not just easy lunch food. It must be said the dinner is served fast and all food tasted just fine. A good thing to be said is the shower was spacey and with an okay pressure - which is far away from a given thing at the countryside (province) in Philippines. The wifi worked good. The resort can offer what you need when it comes to activities and spa opportunities. The massage was good and with a wonderful view! The staff and the caretakers from Britain are nice. It is relaxing just to stay at the resort and enjoy all the facilities.

Most things were just fine but if still to mention something there were some ants in the bathroom (at the wall, not disturbing) and also at the side of the pool. However I think it is almost impossible to get 100 percent rid of ants at the countryside in Philippines. The entrance door to the room was a bit weak/thin and therefor did not stop sounds very good.

We had a fantastic stay at Granada Beach Hotel. The facilities are excellent, and the atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and relaxing — the perfect place to unwind. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always willing to help, which made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The food was also a highlight, with great variety and quality. Another nice touch is that they offer different excursions at the reception, making it easy to explore the area. Overall, it’s a wonderful place with outstanding value for money, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The only minor downsides we noticed were that the pool had quite a high level of chlorine (which affected the color of our swimsuits) and the resort’s access was not clearly signposted, even on Google Maps.

Granada Beach Resort was phenomenal. This secluded resort is the perfect getaway to unwind and relax, the commute from the airport is definitely worth it. The staff were absolutely incredible and went above and beyond to make us as comfortable as possible. The food is delicious, the views are spectacular and the rooms superb. We enjoyed snorkeling daily and the private beach was an added bonus. A special thank you to Lisa and Mike who were excellent hosts. I recommend this resort and would definitely return again.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! The atmosphere here is simply perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms are cozy, peaceful. The air conditioning is wonderfully silent, ensuring a good night’s sleep without any disturbances. Wi-fi is just perfect. The restaurant and terrace offer stunning views that truly allow you to unwind. The food was delicious with a good selection of drinks available. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. What really set this experience apart were the exciting activities offered by the hotel. I had the chance to watch whale sharks, go on thrilling waterfall adventures, and snorkel at Sumilon, all of which were unforgettable experiences. A special shoutout to Mike, the host, who was my diving instructor. Thanks to him, I was able to earn my PADI Open Water license. His guidance and support were invaluable, and I would highly recommend anyone looking to get their PADI certification to do so with Mike.

While my experience was largely positive, there were a few minor issues. The food could have had a broader selection, and the massage therapist wasn’t the best I’ve had. Additionally, adjusting the shower was sometimes challenging, and the water pressure was a bit weak.

The resort is very private if you want to have a restful stay throughout. It's 500m from the main road and we like the way it's situated with its own private beach. Staff was very helpful and suggested other options when we wanted to DIY our canyoneering trip to Kawasan. There's not much establishments around unless you take a car for 30 mins but they have their own restaurant which has a great menu to choose from and reasonably priced I would say.

While we didn't use the pool, a bit of maintenance can help since we can see some debris right through the waters. But other than that, would recommend going back for sure.
