The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our room had a mini fridge, and tv. The sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable. Water pressure was good and the hotel is ocean front. Breakfast is included and you get pick from three cook to order options. The hotel can call you a trike Into town and it is 30 pesos per person round trip. The driver will wait for you while you eat or do whatever you are in town to do. There is a laundry a short 3 min walk that does a great job. The hotel was able to call us a local tour guide named GoMar who was awesome!! He took us to see the whale sharks without paying for an expensive tour. He also helped us get out to Sumilon island for a few hours. In all we paid 3,200 per person to do both which is way cheaper than what you find online.

Kind of far from town, you have to take a trike back and forth. Pool can be really noise very early in the morning (6am).

To my friends at the GinGing Hotel and Resort. Thank you for providing a welcome experience for my brief stay (2 nights). The pool was so refreshing and the views of the ocean outside my window provided the idilic stay I was looking for in this Philippines paradise. Traveling alone, my room was just right for a comfortable sleep. The Philippine breakfasts were delicious and the fruit shakes very tasty. I was very pleased with their recommendation for a trike driver who ended up being my sole transportation during my stay. I regret that I don't recall his name, I know he's a proud father of 6 children and he took care of my whale snorkeling adventure as well as my trip to Sumilon island for more snorkeling, and a recommendation for a delicious dinner in a Philippine foods restaraunt. He also arranged for my cab back to Cebu City for what I felt was a very fair price for the 3 hour drive, door to door service. The staff at the hotel have a deep resect for hospitality, which should be expected in the hotel industry, but I've stayed in many hotels in the USA (my country) who could learn a thing or two from the staff at the GingGing. Due to my lagging tech skills and faulty devices, they were so kind to assist with my access to my email from their front desk computer in order for me to confirm my next destination booking. The staff was always at work, not just cleaning rooms but attending the cleanliness of the entire property. No regrets booking my stay at the GingGing, book with confidence.

There was nothing that I didn't like.

Rooms and the hotel in general were kept very clean. The air conditioning worked well. The pool was fantastic. Staff were helpful in arranging transportation and the whale shark swimming experience. They arranged THE BEST tricycle driver named Jesse, whom the hotel arranged for us. He was our favourite driver/guide from our entire 3 week trip.

The rooms are very small, but if you don’t plan to spend much time in them it’s not a big deal. The on site restaurant was very slow and the food was just okay. Our room came with free breakfast, so that was nice. We also ate dinner here once, but I would recommend going into town for lunches and dinners instead.

Affordable and delicious food, accessible location, friendly staff, has their own ATM machine, good staff service from check-in to check-out, pools are cleaned every morning. Clean room with decent amenities.

WiFi connection is strong except in the room. I had to bring my work during my stay, however we had difficulty connecting to the internet whenever we get inside the room so I had to bring my work outside the room instead where the Wi-Fi is better. A foreigner neighbor shared to us that he also had the same issue. We had to bring it up to the reception officer but least they can do was only to refresh the modem. Cable channels in the TV are incomplete based on the channel list that they had posted in the room.

Staffs are accomodating, friendly and manage to addressed our needs especially the restaurant & front desk staffs. Overall food taste good and serve in a generous amount. Lumpia and shrimp sinigang is highly recommended. Bedroom and washroom is commendable as well the resort ambiance.

During our check in around 4pm, kitchen repair is on-going and we are supposed to be ordering food for our late lunch but it take almost an hour serving our food. I suggest that any repair especially in the kitchen should be done at night or after dinner time not unless its urgent concern.

I had a budget room on the 2nd floor facing the ocean. The size was fine for a solo traveler. I had a view of the pool and dining area which extended on to the ocean. The room faces east so it is light in the morning, shaded and comfortable during the day. The ocean view was very good and the ocean breeze on the property was nice. There are two pools which were nicely designed and very well maintained. The pool was cleaned several times a day. Easy access to the water at a small beach area for swimming or snorkeling but there is no sand and not much to see.

The only thing I didn't like was the road noise but this is not the fault of the property. The road noise within the rooms is significant and you will have to keep your bathroom door closed. The sound of the surf mostly covered the noise in the common area.

The minute we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff... Chito was fantastic and very accommodating to all our queries and requests. The entire staff were extremely friendly and happy and helpful and attended to small issues promptly. The pools were very clean as were all the facilities. Great location. Restaurant was sufficient to our needs and was very reasonably priced and food came to our table hot and fresh.

Points to Note: No kettle in room - hot water was provided downstairs in lobby Aircon not very cold was very warm during the night. No daily housekeeping No acceptance of credit/debit cards These did not detract our stays experience and would still visit again

The staff provided excellent customer service! The location was great - on the water & very near activities. Delicious food & full breakfast included in price in our package. The entire establishment was very clean. Views from the restaurant & most rooms are beautiful. We were there with kids so we chose the poolside rooms - very convenient & surprisingly quiet in our rooms despite being next to the pool. This hotel is a great value! Also, they provided free accommodation for our driver which was very much appreciated!!! It’s like them to be so very considerate. Salamat!

Great service. Fantastic staff who were very polite and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They have a service where they have partnered with a trike driver who will take you to the whale shark tour and guide you. Our driver Gomar was fantastic and made the entire experience very enjoyable. Great view from the restaurant area - we managed to catch the sunrise and it was beautiful. They also help you catch the ceres bus back if required.

Dinner menu and quality of the food could be better. In particular there weren't many vegetarian options for me.

The staff are extremely accommodating and always ready to assist with anything we need. They were very responsive to our requests and consistently helpful throughout our stay. Despite being a large group, they remained patient and professional at all times. Their warm hospitality truly made a difference. The food was also excellent — flavorful and satisfying. Overall, a wonderful experience!
