Excellent location for Whale Shark experience! Right next door and great value for money. Accommodated family of 5 just fine in one room. Basic amenities, but it was all we needed. Our host was lovely and friendly and very informative. Offered to book things for us and drop us off to places. She made sure she was up and in line for us at 3am for the whale shark experience which meant we weren't stuck with the crowds for long. You can watch the boats from the shore at the hotel and take it all in. Beautiful. It's exactly how it looks in photos. Clean and tidy.

Wasn't a huge deal, but we had a few price variations/changes on some tour/booking services. If you're going to ask for help, make sure you clarify the price and inclusions and then pay rather than running up a tab. But the host does keep a list of expenses recorded.

The place is amazing — beautiful beachfront and amazing nice front yard. It’s super close to where you go for the whale shark watching, basically just next door. The staff were all really friendly — shoutout to Erica, Mary, and Dexter who were all super helpful! They gave me tips on things to do and helped me get around the area. I had such a great stay, I even ended up extending for another night.

There’s no Wi-Fi in the room, but honestly, that wasn’t a big deal — I was looking to unplug anyway.

Great location for whaleshark viewing (almost next door). Nice coral beach. Beautiful lawn before the beach. Very nice and helpful staff who through connections got us on a whalewatching boat despite getting a high number at 6 am. Hotel staff helpedarrange diving and scooter rentals.

The rooms were almost directly below the road which was pretty loud and the ground shook when big trucks went by. Sleeping with air conditioning and ear plugs helped. The double bed was very small, clearly designed for shorter, smaller people and not westerners.

This was a lovely hotel with a fantastic location for whale sharks. The double rooms and family rooms were good with nice terrace with view out to sea and sharks. The staff could not have been anymore helpful. They were very welcoming and organised the sharks, airport transfer and onward transfers and canyoneering for us too. Highly recommended.

The budget double was very budget! It was small and very basic without any outdoor space. If you can, upgrade to the standard room as these were much better.

Probably the closest accommodations to the Whale Shark Watching activities which was so convenient. I didn’t have to sit in a van ride for 4-5 hours. Dexter picked me up from my room to check in at 5am and I went back to my room while it started to pour rain and at 6am, Dexter picked me up and took me back and got me situated with my Whale Shark tour. So easy and so convenient. Dexter was awesome and he made sure I was all set. He waited for me to finish the tour and he escorted me back to Aloha Resort literally a 5 minute walk away. Also, they are really good at responding on Booking.com. I also ordered breakfast and at 8am it was ready and Dexter set up a table for me with an unobstructed view of the water and all the boats and people that were out for the whale shark activity.

The room is a no frills room but I can’t say that I didn’t like it. I knew what I was booking and the price was great and I was there mainly for convenience for the whale shark activity. I had a comfortable bed, a working air conditioner and running water. I’d say the only thing that could’ve been better was hot water, but it wasn’t that big of a deal.

The staff and location are amazing, all members of staff do everything they can to help you out with anything you need, our 10 month old and 3 year old sons were treated like Kings. The location is perfect if you want to go whale shark watching, it's right next door to the centre. The guide provided for the whale shark watching is definitely worth having as he will stand In line and pay for you so that you don't have to. Breakfast is amazing and super cheap, theres plenty of options for food right across the road and up the street. The rooms are basic (but very clean), just beds, a small wardrobe and a shower room, however you get what you pay for. If you want to go whale shark watching you only need a night or 2 max. We booked this for the sole purpose of going whale shark watching, it was perfect for that purpose and I would recommend it to anyone.

Not much really, our stay was good, we had a fantastic time and the team at the resort were great.

We came for the whale shark watching and this location was moments away, I mean literally moments...like a 2 min walk. The water pressure in the shower and the heat level of the shower was pretty good (I didn't expect that). The room had a nice ocean view and the beachfront was only a few hundred feet away. Excellent! One last thing...Aloha has a really nice karaoke system which my wife and I rented and had fun!!

The A/C wasn't as powerful as I would have liked. I am an American and not used to the humidity, but my Filipina wife had no problem. The room could use a small refrigerator and an electric kettle would be nice. They do have hot water at the front office but that's not convenient for morning coffee.

Location to whale shark experience. Dexter will guide you throught the process for a tiny fee. The experience cist 500php. Amazing snorkeling just off the beach with turtles! Lovely garden. Great resturant over the road. Local stalls and shops. They can also organise a trip to the local falls or Oslob proper - I went on back of scooter to both. Great price. Highly recommend.

Not anybodys fault but it's on a busy road with trucks at night. Wouldn't put me off staying again as it met all my needs. No bedside light - as is the case with many philippino places. I had headtorch with me!

Perfect location, if you want to take a night and stay for a morning whaleshark watching. Guesthouse is directly on the beach of whaleshark watching. We stayed in a low budget room, it was clean and ok for 1 night. The owner wokeup at 6am to go with her for whaleshark watching registration. We than went back to our room and waited till 8:30 when she called us back to go directly in the line for first boat to go whaleshark watching.

Bad wifi.

The location of this property is directly next to the whale shark watching so is a perfect place to stay. Dexter is amazing when it comes to helping you arrange seeing the whale sharks. All you have to do is register with him, then you can go and chill out until he tells you it’s almost your turn to visit them.

The only reason this doesn’t get 10 is that the shower in 1 of rooms didn’t work properly. It was usable but the water only came out of a small area of the shower head.
