The place was just near the metro. They already served breakfast, which was super convenient for us. We didn't have to waste time thinking about what or where to eat. Landers and S&R restaurant were just a short walk away. The elevator was really helpful, and they even had free mineral water in the hallway. It looked simple from the outside, but it was very modern inside. And the best part? You could easily call their front desk for anything you needed. They're quick to respond.

The Wi-Fi wasn't that good. We had to use our personal mobile data just to get a connection. Also, we had problems with the bedsheets on the first day. They caused us itchiness. Fortunately, they cleaned our area and replaced them all.

Very cozy condo with a beautiful view. The owners checked me in and out and were super friendly and nice, also helped me out by allowing earlier check-in and later check-out due to flight timing reasons. Owner was also easily reachable through Whatsapp for any help or questions. Really nice rooftop to go watch the sunset on and very nice rooftop pool halfway up the building as well! Loved it there, would stay there again!

General Data and Wifi connection seemed very on and off, inconsistent. I don't think that's the owners fault though, more of a location issue I think. Maybe I am also just used to European data and wifi, so take this with a grain of salt. I am also quite an indoors person, so this wouldn't be much of a problem if you're exploring the city etc.

The hotel is located in a quiet residential area but approximately 10 mins (ride) away to malls, tourist attractions like Magellan's Cross, National Museum of Cebu, Basilica Minor and walking distance to a local bar. The hotel and the rooms we booked were clean and decent sized; breakfast options are great and serving size is just right for me. The hotel staff are all nice and accommodating, even the security guards.

Whenever we step out of the room and take the keycard out, the electricity shuts down and the aircon will take about 10 mins to cool the room. Inverter aircons are supposed to be energy efficient if used more than 8 hours straight.

The hotel staff are very warm, welcoming and accommodating. They’d greet the guests whenever they see them. The security guards on duty are equally helpful and accommodating. The check-in was quick and hassle-free. Breakfast was served quickly as well.

There were only 2 towels provided when I booked for 3persons. We did not dare ask since one of us brought a towel, but that could have been easily provided for had we asked. There were a few tiny cockroaches in the bathroom. We had to keep our things especially our toothbrushes inside the room.

We were 3 adults+ 1 toddler in a family room (2 double beds). The room was clean and had enough space for all of us. The room has a mini fridge but electricity goes off when you take out your key card when you leave the room, so we asked the receptionist how to keep the electricity on all day because we needed to keep our personal food/drinks cold and they simply gave us another card to put in the cardholder and leave it there while we went out so the electricity stayed on - This was very helpful. The breakfasts were great! We wish the quantity was bigger though - just because it was really good. There is a water dispenser (cold and hot) in the hall way - this was very helpful to have access to. The location is very good - it was our first time in Cebu and it was just easy to get a cab or jeep/bus to key tourist places. All taxis knew where our hotel was when we were coming back. Restaurants, cafes, convenience stores, a "palengke" all within walking distance which is very convenient but the hotel's restaurant also has really good food for good prices too (eg. We liked their pork sinigang!). All taxis knew where our hotel was when we were coming back.

We stayed during the summer so it was very hot. The AC takes a very long time to cool the room when you turn it on. The TV had many channels that didn't work.

All the Hotel R Mabolo staff were very friendly and accommodating and because of my genius free upgrades we were booked in their best rooms :) for the cost of a standard room, which is super fabulous! The 24-hour Reception and guards ensured safety and prompt responses to queries (even during unholy hours). Personally, it's the best location since it's just a few minutes walk from our Families residence. I will surely book our future visits in Hotel R Mabolo :) For guests whose schedules are in the city thoroughfare, public transpo abounds or if you are up to it, you can walk to the many nearby malls and from there you can connect to anywhere in the city. The guards are also very helpful in calling taxis for guests who prefer this mode of travelling. It's a shame that my family and I found this gem towards the end of our visit. The rooms were comfortable, roomy, affordable and it served as a perfect commuter/traveler hotel. Water pressure and heater were working perfectly. The rooms were clean. The staff was incredibly friendly and so accommodating.

The hotel location will require visitors to call for a Grab or Taxi to get to/from locations. The elevator is also slower than most, but it's not a deal breaker.

Room rates are cheaper than other hotels plus free breakfast that makes you save more. Breakfast has a variety of choices. Staffs are nice and accomodating. I booked for a family of 4 and they gave us a room with 3 beds plus free breakfast for 4 persons. I am glad that I found this hotel.

Although the location is not along the highway to access local transformations, security guards and receptionists are very accommodating to assess you for your taxi.

Good location, close enough by taxis to the Port and Airport. The room was comfortable and spacious with good air conditioning, light and space. Handy to have water coolers available for refills too. Staff were polite, particularly the door staff for taxis and bags. They looked after a shipment I had delivered before I arrived too which was a big help;

The place was okay, the beds were comfortable. There was a lift, and the staff were friendly. There was a gym with the basics and a place where you could get a massage.

The electrical sockets were not next to the bed, the shower had poor pressure and the breakfast was not that great. They also took a long time to answer messages and half the time the answer was generic and nothing to do with what I had asked.
