very comfortable and handy to everything and the outdoor kitchen was definitely a bonus as was the pool. I enjoyed the staff who were always helpful and attentive. it was a happy safe comfortable environment. I am already recommending this location to family and friends

small observation and only minor. I did feel the outside rubbish bins at the rooms could have been emptied near daily in some cases as its not a great look for the property. I think it would be helpful to put up a sign requesting people clean up the out door kitchen after use as some guests didn't which i thought was rude to other guests and staff but no major just a helpful suggestion.

I stayed here on the way into Cebu and liked it so much this was my stay on the way out. It's a comfortable place to stay, away from the centre but close to the airport in a working class area of Cebu. Some people have referred to the local area being a bit "sketchy" but i went for a walk around and it felt perfectly safe and interesting. The staff were fine, the food and drink likewise and the gardens and pool area were great and as good as many more expensive hotels I've stayed in. If you want western style modern standards and posh facilities then maybe look elsewhere but for a cheap, clean and comfortable place for a day or two near the airport it's great. I'll definitely stay again on any trips through Cebu

Nothing, it was fine.

Super friendly staff, the probably cleanest Swimmingpool in the Philippines. The owner (wife and husband) clean the pool themselves on a daily basis and there are only little amounts of chemicals in the water (no chlorine taste). The facility is like an oasis in a big city. It lays conveniently located for a traveller, that search for an airport near destination. The facility is hidden in a very simple/ not wealthy and densely populated district and only a very small road that is rimmed by small dwellings is leading to it. The road ends at the gate of the property and once this gate is opened, a different world awaits one. Suddenly lush green and a garden with many different fruits trees and ornamental plants awaits one. Dispersed are small units/houses with simple but functional and clean amenities. To the left side of the entrance, behind the gate is a restaurant with an medium sized freshwater- aquarium and the reception. The owners are a philippino-german couple and a majority of the guests are Europeans. Even though the resort is in a busy city-center, one feels more like being in a remote countryside. Many birds, some rabbits, the already mentioned flora and the well maintained pool are the magic ingredients to this oasis.

some of the guest rooms are showing the ravages of time, but Volker, the owner is constantly working on maintenance and improvement. Even though the value for money is more than excellent, it must be mentioned that only cash payments are accepted, which is a bit behind the times.

This place is perfect for a stop over in Cebu. Location is close to the airport. The pool and gardens are lovely. It’s a lovely peaceful retreat from the busy city, with tropical gardens and b lovely little birds flying about. The staff are wonderful and accommodating and the food is good in the restaurant. It’s a great find and we will be back again anytime we are flying in or out of Cebu.

It’s very close to a mall for anything you need to grab for your onward journey, with an ATM but nothing else is really in walkable distance but they have everything you need at the resort so you don’t really need to leave. However they do have mopeds available for hire if you want to go exploring.

Beautiful pool, staff were so friendly and helpful, they really made our stay special. Room was clean and beds were comfy. It's like a little oasis in the hustle and bustle of Cebu. Loved it and would 100% stay again. Also, try the restaurant, great food, so tasty and western options! Hot water shower and toilets with loo paper

Not exactly close to anything but easy to get taxi, trike or grab. Facilities are basic but clean and comfy.

Not far from airport, to avoid traffic problems on the bridges to Cebu, of course is not in center of Cebu city , but it has a nice pool and garden . Nice simple and quiet cottages, with air conditioning. The restaurant is useful for breakfast and all the meals you can have . Arriving and departing from Cebu, this place is perfect. the staff is nice and helpful to find a Grab car or taxi and if you make them laugh, it’s even better.

Don’t miss the big blue panel with the name Lapu cottages on the main road : this is the entrance of the little narrow road to reach the entrance.

The swimming pool and food in the restaurant were excellent and the staff helpful. The rooms are a reasonable size garden and surrounding area peaceful. Internet is also OK although different passwords for different ares.

The rooms are basic and reflected in the price but little things like shampoo and a toothbrush would be good. The shower is cold so bring your own bathroom items. Towels and sheets are provided .. The road leading to the Resort is not good narrow and sometimes flooded...

Resort in Lapu-Lapu. Each cottage has 1 bed room, 1 bathroom with toilet + shower, 1 open air veranda. The restaurant offers 3 styles of breakfast after 6a.m.. And Lunch + Dinner until 9pm, Pinoy style or Western style. Pool and BBQ pit are available. The owner is a Philippina + German couple. In walking distance to Gaisano Mall, and SM is only a 100p tricycle ride away.

Reaching there by taxi is a bit tricky, since the access road is narrow and hidden. UBER knows the way, and so does WAZE.

A quiet sanctuary, fantastic pool and gardens.

Very disappointed to find not only that the staff would not refill our water bottle with filtered water but also no service water was provided at meals. They only sold bottled water which of course contributes to plastic waste, a big problem in the Philippines. Luckily there is a water refilling station in front of the little mechanical workshop in the small street in front of the gates, and a young boy showed us how to operate it. 3 pesos to refill our 1 litre bottle (must use 1 peso coins).

Like a green paradise / oasis in an otherwise densely populated area. The owners ,Volker and Julia, clean their swimming pool daily and it is likely the cleanest and best maintained pool in the country. Incredible value for money!!
