We stayed for 2 nights as a vacation from the City. The staff, especially the manager, were extremely friendly and helpful. I accidentally booked the wrong dates and the staff managed to change it for me without any extra charge. The room was spacious and comfy and very clean. It was quiet at the property, with a gorgeous ocean view, perfect for sunset. The food was delicious and extremely tasty and affordable. Thank you for a lovely stay and for helping me fix my wrong dates :)

The water from the bathroom was extremely salty, but other than that we had a lovely stay.

This place is absolutely exceptional! Beautifully maintained, clean, and full of charm—perfect for relaxation and rest. The staff is incredibly friendly, always helpful, and smiling, making the stay even more enjoyable. The accommodation prices are very affordable, and the restaurant offers delicious food at reasonable prices. Plus, the stunning views and direct access to the beach and ocean make it a true paradise! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort and peace in a beautiful setting.

The staff and location were excellent! The vegetarian options were excellent as well! This place also rents scooters at a great rate, and this was by far the best "extra" of the location, giving us the freedom to move as much as we wanted. Honestly, this is the best place to stay if you're looking for an "off the beaten trail" (though by no means isolated) location and great staff that help in any way they can. Also, the bus driver from Cebu knew the hotel itself and dropped us off at the front door!

This is not a 5-star resort, nor do they claim to be, so this is not a critique. The shower was problematic (the shower head needed to be soaked in vinegar, and the temperature was not really controllable. The wifi was only available in public areas, but they already have the hardware for starlink, they were just waiting for a technician to set it up, so it should be great soon!

Nice big rooms in a great non-tourist destination IF you are chasing waterfalls and hot springs (Mainit is only 15 min away and many of Cebu's best waterfalls 15-30 min away). At night you only hear the rhythmic crashing waves (even drowns out roosters and dogs!) which is fantastic. The resorts meals are delicious and large portioned. You can rent motorbikes (though they are dated). This is not a place for you if you are looking to meet many people or find trendy bars and restaurants etc. The neighbouring towns have small Philippino stands and bakeries. Everyone waves and smiles and welcomes you into their small town.

It can be difficult at times to access reception (you must be patient) :)

We had such a wonderful stay here. We felt truly welcomed. The vibe here was so genuine and mellow. The staff is so friendly and calming and accomodating. The food from the kitchen was truly delicious, and also so fairly priced, which is soooo important because you are a bit isolated along the coast here, which can be a great thing if you have everything you need, and a bad thing if you don’t. But you most certainly do. We rented scooters, ate meals, explored up and down the coast, had cocktails in the evenings, enjoyed the pool and the sunsets, and met so many wonderful people here from near and afar. Highly recommend. Excellent for basing yourself for a visit to both Inambakan falls, Kawasan Canyoneering, Hot Springs, and more.

Mornings are a little noisy. Early risers, roosters, kind of to be expected for Philippines. Rooms by ocean are surely the most quiet. Only sound of waves.

This is an absolutely fantastic place with a wonderful view. It is simple but it has everything you need as a traveller. The staff was lovely and always helpful, the meals delicious, also good choice of breakfast for a reasonable price of 165 pesos.

Only as a general question (not as an expression of not liking): Why don't they offer products from the local bakeries for the breakfast on the Philippines? They are so delicious! :) but the breakfast was great also in its way.

Super nice view on the sea and even a direct access to go spend some time bathing or snorkeling. The water of the pool was really fresh and agreeable. The food at the restaurant was good. It's really calm and you can enjoy a beautiful sunset. The personnel from the hotel were really sweet and wonderful. The bedroom was more than enough to spend some days.

Not much. Just maybe mind your step on the stairs (it's a bit slidy on rainy days) my girlfriend fell on it but that was the fault of our heavy luggage so nothing to worry about just mind your steps. The pressure of the shower was a bit low, but clearly no worries with patience you can wash yourself without any problems.

The owners and staff were super friendly. The food we ate there was delicious (we got roasted chicken and mongos beans soup). The room had aircon and a fan, and a surprisingly nice sized bathroom! Easy to rent and use their scooter. Buses stop in front of the resort if you wish to use the bus instead. Kambutunang river/waterfall is nearby but quite small compared to Kawasan Falls. I enjoyed my 2 night stay and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Such a great place to motorbike. If you're looking for a quiet place to get away from the bustling city, you should consider Bamboo Beachhouse. It's located right on the water. I can’t wait to come back.

The property was terraced and well maintained with steps leading to the sea. The rooms were rustic but clean and all rooms had air conditioning which is essential in this part of the world. The staff was hard working and tried hard to accommodate all of us.

From the time I ordered my dinner to the time it was served, it took about an hour and a half. I suppose it did not help that there were 22 of us. It seems like there was the owner/manager who was also the cook. She had two helpers and all 3 ran the kitchen/dining room. So, each time someone in my group wanted to pay, or get a drink, the owner/manager who was also the cook would stop cooking and take care of giving everyone what they wanted. At one point, I had to tell my group to stop asking for drinks and stop asking to pay because I was hungry. Breakfast was A LOT better.

location is unbeatable. open your room door & stand in awe of the gorgeous blue water. Ms. Lisa is the best host one could ask for. I had a very urgent medical issue & if it weren’t for her I’d be in the ER!!! Food was great, I actually ate 3 meals a day (few times more some days) which I haven’t done since childhood! The nightly price was less than a Margarita in Los Angeles, CA. I’m definitely going back!!!

I can’t think of anything I would change. If I could live there I’d be the happiest camper in the world!
