Remember when everything just seemed to be so easy? That’s what we remember about our stay at Aabana. With all bases covered and oodles of space - both índoors and out - we were able to enjoy all that Malapascua has to offer. Bed was luxurious, linen great and bathroom worked really well when coming back in from the beach or the sea. The fresh buckets of water placed at the entrance came in very useful too. Staff were a cut above and super helpful plus as smiley as the days were long. Aabana is located at the eastern end of Bounty beach and therefore gets a little more breeze than other sections. Really enjoyed this aspect as it made fending off any mosquitoes that much less of a mission. Being able to sit on the beach, late at night, and gaze at the night sky was a priceless experience. Do it if you get the chance. Final shoutout has to go to Julie and her team. They were superb.

Aabana was perfect for our 12 day stay on Malapascua Island. From the info rich and useful emails received before we arrived to our final goodbye, this was a wonderful experience. We loved and appreciated so much: * Location - on the eastern end of Bounty beach, where there is often more of a breeze - keeps the mozzies at bay. Perfect. * Spacious living and sleeping areas plus a great terrace with tables, chairs and hammocks. What more could we want? * Garden setting. We stayed in two of the chalets during our stay and both were surrounded by trees, flowers and offered privacy. * Comfortable beds with great bed linen and mosquito nets. * Air conditioning unit plus a fan. The air conditioner is an older model and not the most quiet but we only used it intermittently (to cool down the room) so that wasn’t a problem. We then ran the fan. * Tasty breakfast served on the beach with usual choices - pancakes, eggs, rice, fruit. Not the widest range of options, but we were very happy with eggs, rice, fruit, juice, coffee etc. If not up to your preference or not included in your package, there are excellent breakfast options all along Bounty beach. * Delightful staff - Julie and her team were impressive. Responsive, friendly and efficient. Able to organise much - a lift to a restaurant or back to the pier, bulk water (an absolute blessing and incredible value for money!), cleaning when needed; leave you alone when ‘do not disturb’ sign is up. Dropped your spectacles on the beach? Yep, the staff have retrieved them, dusted them off and they’re waiting at reception for you. * So lovely having a fresh bucket of water at the entrance to the chalets. Gets all the sand off sharpish. Aabana isn’t the resort with the most modern accommodation, but it’s got great bones, good workmanship to appreciate, an enviable location and is soooo spacious. We found it a very easy place to live in. Excellent value for money. Would be our first choice next time we visit.

I absolutely loved my stay at AABANA beach!!!! The place is RIGHT in front of the beach and the view from the room it’s insane!! Plus it’s surrounded by palm and trees and hammocks and it’s sooo peaceful!!! It’s only 10 minutes away from the port and the surroundings is fantastic, with everything you need just a few meters away!! Plus the owner was extremely nice and helpful, also helped me plan my day trip for the next day! Can’t forget to mention the amazing breakfast included in the price !!! I chose banana pancake which was so delicious and served with fresh mango!!! Absolutely 100% recommended and definitely coming back here for my next stay in Malapascua!

Nothing everything was perfect!

Right on the beach. Close to the night market for fresh fish in the morning. Next door to Evolution dive centre and Craic bar which has decent cocktails on 3 hr Hsppy Hour each day. Staff are really friendly.

The room was not cleaned regularly. There seemed to be no pattern and with the toilet bin, that was a bit of an issue.

The rooms we rented are big and really comfy. I really appreciate the AC kc sobrang init talaga s island. And mostly, the staffs are really friendly and accommodating s mga request.. Lalo sa food 😂😂😂

Nothing much because whatever we request or if there is something to fix, they tend to it.

The room and the toilet was very large and spacious, very comfortable. The breakfast was good, the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The location es good right next to the beach I could listen to the sea while sleeping, it is 5-10 minutos walking from the other main beach were all the dive centres are.

The fan makes a lot of noise.

A wonderful experience here. On bounty beach but in the far quieter end. But saying they it’s only a 12 min walk from the port as everything on this island is walking distance. Really welcoming staff. A lovely breakfast. My hut room was on the beach. Great price and a calming location. Great communication throughout also. Very personal. Top marks from me

Exceptionally clean, superb service, delicious breakfast. I also like the location, though far from the beach, but that's the beauty of the location, it is quiet, you get to see the locals do their livelihood, you get to relax more as it is from from the bustle. The gardens you pass through as you're about to reach your room was also surprising, I didn't expect it to be this nice, you get the beach and a garden plus an exceptional stay. I'll definitely come back with my partner :)))

I don't get to charge my phone when we're away from the room as you nee dthe keys to power the room, so if you'll leave your room and lock it, there will be no power. I guess it's understandable also as they're promoting sustainability, so it's all good.

Fantastic location right next to the beach and diving schools. We had the family suite, it was a very spacious and lovely hut. The location is very quiet and relaxing. It is also within walking distance to a night market that has excellent BBQ food. We enjoyed very much the beachfront as well, it was a great spot for stargazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Would recommend and come back again!

The resort is a little old and cleanliness can be improved. Water pressure of the shower is too weak.

Directly on the beach. Everything is walkable - you can walk from one side of the island to the other in 15 minutes. Or, there are always people around offering a motorbike ride for about 25pesos. There is also a strip of restaurants and dive resorts along this beach, the closest beachside restaurant is 2 minutes walk along the beach. Aabana offers a lovely, quiet set of guesthouses, and I loved that each one had a hammock for you to enjoy.
