Great hotel. The location is perfect in that you can walk from the port, only 5 min, which is ideal with the heat and humidity of the island. Next time we will take the private boat transfer but it was good to experience the local ferry although they wait until they have enough passengers so they can be 30 min late leaving. We had some issues with the AC in our room but they moved us to another room very fast with no hassles at all. The other room was actually better for us in the end. The rooms are very tasteful and local in style and I like that there are no tvs, as who wants that when you’re in paradise. The highlight of the place is the restaurant, which is Italian. Having been to Italy many times and even living with Sicilians during University I can say that the food is very authentic. Pizza and pasta all fresh made and good service. Having been in Cebu for a few weeks already it was a nice break from the usual pork, pork, pork (ok and maybe some chicken) which is ubiquitous here. The morning breakfast is nice, it’s a la carte from the selection of items and fresh fruit. We will be back.

Very nice and comfy accommodation for spending a vacation on the beautiful island of Malapascua. Room had a lot of space and the bed was very comfortable. Staff always been friendly and supportive, room got cleaned every day including fresh towels daily. Restaurant in the front preparing amazing food, we loved the Pizza. Location was very close to everything we needed (diving shops, little markets, snorkel spot to snorkel with Reefsharks). Thank you for the best start in our Philippines adventure.

Only saltwater shower - but as it's normal on the island it's been no problem at all.

The hotel and restaurant face to the port beach. The best remembering I have is the kindness and courtesy of the owners (Italian expatriates from Rimini) and the staff always smiling. You feel like home. The room is very big, reminded a typical second house at the sea with its wooden floor, veranda and decorations. If you are a pet lover you are in good company then.

The facility needs some renovation, the walls in my room were nice to look (stone made) but absolutely 0 soundproof. You just listen to any single word of your neighbours, especially if you find very rude people like it happened to me only during last night. Last but not least, but this is malapascua problem, if you carry many luggages be ready to carry all in your arms because you need to walk on the sand for about 100 meters.

In this 3 days i havent meet many people, but have to say a big thank you to the owner from the Angelina Beach Resort & Italien Restaurant Malapascua. Your Resort in combination with your Restaurant is very loveley . The Kitchen is amazing, i tryed several dishes from your card and they all were really tasty . The Room was amazing with view to the sea . You all, give me a feeling not leaving your place as a guest, more then a friend . Thanks to you all 😍 See you next time 👍

Really good food, big room, nice balcony. Possibility to get early breakfast if you going to do early dives. Nice restaurant.

there are better location on the island. Due to this I would choose another hotel next time. Floor in the room is somehow cracking and its very loud. I didn´t manage to use to it in 5 days. Was very bothering.

Beautiful location and fabulous room. Malapascua is exquisite and Angelina Beach is an ideal location from which to explore. The beaches on the east side of the island are only a few minutes walk and there are loads of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance of the hotel. Staff were very helpful, and were very good at organising early breakfasts and luggage carriage. Happy to recommend.

Not a complaint, but something to bear in mind. Getting on and off the ferry involves walking a gangplank, so not ideal if (like myself) you have limited mobility. Island administration should be doing more to keep the beaches clean.

Beautifully appointed rooms, great air con and ceiling fan, great storage, clean, airy and well equipped. Good breakfast and wonderful options for lunch and evening meals. I'd love to stay again if I visit Malapascua in the future. The staff were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to assist.

The food was fantastic. The Staff were very accommodating and went out of their way to help. Some days we left at 4:30am to do diving and they arranged fresh fruit and sandwiches for or breakfast that would rival cafes back home. Our room was enormous with a huge balcony overlooking the beach and great air conditioning.

The bed was a little firmer than I would have liked; though from my experience at subsequent resorts, this appears to be the norm in the Phillippines. Still comfy though. The services that Angelina outsources did not live up to expectations. The transfer vehicle from the airport was old and the drivers handed our luggage over to porters a the dock without asking. this was not part of the service so we felt railroaded into giving them tips. The masseuse that visits the hotel by appointment was decent; but there are better spa services on the island.

Fantastic rooms, beautifully designed and very comfortable. Restaurant also very good, if a little pricey by Cebu standards. Just a short walk from the ferry jetty and handy for Bounty Beach. Good breakfast options.

Not a lot to criticise - the water went off in the room on our final morning, but this was a problem outside of the hotel’s control.

Hotel staff were very kind. Angelina, the hotel owner was such a wonderful person. Stay was nice and comfortable, overall made the travel experience completely worth it. Their Italian restaurant has the most amazing food on the island. Please don’t miss out on it!
