The location, the lady at Reception was very good, friendly and even the security guard they both are good in handling the guests, suggesting being good enough. I felt the hotel is Value for money

Room was clean, air con was good. Location was OK, on main street but still quiet despite location on busy street.

Our trike driver from the Ceres bus stop told us we could get a private van for 4 to go to Caticlan (Boracay) for 1500 pesos. The desk clerk said she would call to make a reservation for the van. I decided to check out the van service in person which was about four blocks from our hotel. I personally spoke to the van dispatch person, confirmed a private van the next morning for 1500 pesos. When we arrived back at the hotel the desk clerk said she reserved a private van for 2000 pesos. I had already advised her that the rate was 1500. I told her to cancel her reservation because I had personally spoke to the van service dispatch and reserved the rate for 1500. I've lived in the Philippines for 13 years. This was an example, to me, of the so-called "skin tax" where foreigners are sometimes charged a higher rate.
