We really liked our stay at the Olive Hostel. Part of the fun was the novelty of living in half a container cargo box. Also seeing how the room was efficiently constructed within a small space. And also how the surrounding grounds added to the over-all experience. Staff were wonderful and fun to be around. Breakfast was great. Everything worked great including hot water shower, aircon and wifi. Quiet central location. Fun stuff to see and do including Baybay Beach and several malls. Lots of eateries nearby. The Olive Hostel is a great value stay.

This was a lovely place, spacious grounds and wonderful staff. The only drawback was no TV - which was well documented in the listing. but somehow I missed this. Not normally a problem, except there was somethings very specific I wanted to see on my second day there. The staff were very understanding and without my asking, arranged for me to transfer, at no cost, to their sister property (Mid_Town Hotel) which did have TV. This was affectively a free upgrade and I was so grateful. So huge kudos to the staff of a wonderful hostel - and I nearly forgot - with a great breakfast included!!!

Olive Hostel was perfectly located in CBD, close to all the amenities & centrally located to all the attractions!! It’s very private, safe & beautifully landscaped!!! Included Filipino breakfast’s options break the daily monotony!!! Rooms are all private, nicely appointed, spacious, comfortable, safe and clean!!! But the best part - the staff - who adopted me!!! They were friendly yet professionals, accommodating yet respectful!!! The ambiance was perfect setting to socialize with other guests, which I loved; I got to meet a lot of wonderful people my entire stay!!!! Thanks a million, amazing staff, now my Roxas City Family - Baby, Vic, Irene, Janet, Madelyn, Toting, Art, & Agustin - for making my stay soooo wonderful & memorable; miss you all!!!

The nightly karaoke bar’s singing time; the bar should keep it closed from 12 AM!!!

Cozy vibes all the way! Place is clean, room is comfortable. Bathroom has heated water. Aircon at max is super cold. All the furniture/decor items are carefully thought of and designed to maximize the limited space of a basic room. Location is convenient, near malls and pasalubong areas (I walked from Panulce before I checked in..haha!) Perfect for my short stay and stopover. Truly a home away from home. 100% will go back!

What i didn't like is that my flight is way too early, i missed my free breakfast..haha! Not the hostel's fault obviously. But would definitely come back, have a longer stay to finally get my free breakfast :D

The property is so clean and it has a lot of space. I love the staff they are all nice and warm and very accommodating. They even allowed me to take out my breakfast because I was leaving early for my flight. The hostel is so quiet and it’s air condition is so cold. They also have a pitcher of water for the night. It is just 4 mins to the airport. It is very safe since they closed the gate at night.

Nothing. Everything is so perfect! It is actually my second stay here now. Whenever I am in Roxas City I stay in this hostel.

I don’t usually give a review but I’ll give a big kudos to Olive Hostel. My flight arrive at 7:30 AM, checkin was supposed to be 2AM, but they prepared the room for me so I can check in early at no additional cost! Plus all staff are so nice and provided me with the things I need. The place is near the city and the airport and room is clean. Room was well-thought of. They even have somewhere to put your devices when you charge.

There’s a stain on the sheet so that’s a big NO for me. You can hear people on the other room. Like super clear. But since it’s a makeshift trailer..

Place is neat and new. AC is good and wifi too..there is a towel thats clean and new also..Staff people are friendly. The breakfast is okay I like it. The garden and location is 👍 ps. Room is nicer in actual,.looks better in real life than in the photos posted.

There's some small insect that bites me in the middle of the night. Not so alarming but I felt it.

Olive Hostel is like a safe haven in the middle of the city. I felt right at home ❤️ Our room was clean and comfortable, breakfasts were very filling, the garden was a nice little spot to hang out in, the entire compound was well-lit at night, and all staff members were very accommodating. Will definitely come back!

I love that the hostel is just near EVERYTHING! The tourists spots we went to are just a tricycle away, which is the mode of transportation in Capiz, Roxas City. It's also near the mall (Gaisano, SM and Robinson's). It has a gate so the place feels safe and secluded.

I just wish they'd put a shower curtain to separate the toilet and the shower area, so as not to wet the entire room. Other than that, it's all great!

Location is good, situated between Baybay beach and the city centre. The accommodation is new and spotlessly clean. Staff are very helpful and friendly

On my arrival I was disappointed with the size of my room it was very small, no room for putting clothes etc. I had to upgrade to a 3 person unit just so I had more space.
