Bluewater Maribago Beach Resort is haven for people who loves tranquility, relaxation and fun. I had good respite for two nights of this resort. The staffs are welcoming and took of my check-in with an ease. The room is huge which fits in two queen size beds. The interiors is simple with touch of Filipino wood elements. Beds are so comfy that makes me doze off in an instant. The comfort room had a bath tub, lavatory, toilet with bidet and complete toiletries. The beach front is nice and swimmable. I got a chance to snorkle during hightide and saw some resident fishes there. I got a chance to used the pool near my room and the main one close to the restaurant. They have a gym facility with decent equipments and amuma spa which this resort is known for. Breakfast buffet at Allegro is my favorite of my stay of this resort. A good selection of local and decent international choices. A taho treat is a nice welcome. Overall, I'm happy of my staycation here.

We stayed at Bluewater Maribago as a family with two little boys (2 years and 2 months, and 5 months old), right after a long journey from Germany—and it was exactly what we needed. We originally booked 3 nights but extended to 4 because it was just the perfect place to adjust to the climate and recover. The resort is beautiful, well-maintained, and incredibly family-friendly. The pools were a big hit with the kids, and while we didn’t swim much at the beach, our toddler spent hours happily playing in the sand. That kind of distraction made everything easier for us as parents. The food was outstanding—we had the breakfast and dinner buffet daily at Allegro Restaurant and loved the variety and quality. But what really made this stay special was the staff. The resort’s core value, Amuma (a Bisaya word meaning to pamper or care), isn’t just a slogan—it’s something you feel in every interaction. Big thanks to Joyce and the welcoming team at the Allegro entrance, Jeff and Richell from the juice bar who took great care of us in the afternoons, and especially Carlos at the kinilaw buffet, who we saw more than once step through a potted plant (literally) to help guests at the nearby self-service station. That kind of extra effort and warmth was everywhere. If you’re arriving in Cebu with kids—or just need a peaceful, genuine place to land—this is it. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and truly cared for.

Probably one of the best beach resorts in Lapu Lapu. Very specious and clean rooms, huge bathrooms. All the restaurants offer amazing and very delicious food (local and international) There are plenty of activities we can sign in and very helpful and friendly staff. Me and my girlfriend have an amazing stay and will definitely visit again when we are in the area. Highly recommend

We can't have visitors from outside, which could be inconvenient if you want to invite friends, and for such a huge place there are only 2 smoking areas which is ridiculous. Even when we sit on the beach, I can't use my vape, that's a bit of feeling like a jail!

Very clean staff always very helpful . Dining room staff exceeded all our expectations with their service friendliness and always trying to helping customers . Swimming facilities were nice and big check-in staff very courteous. Housekeeping hours responded with our needs as well within five minutes.

The only negative thing I see about the facility is in the swimming areas. They need to have railings at all pool facilities for older people trying to get in and out of the pool yet is rather difficult for a senior person to maneuver. Also, in rooms that have bathtubs and showers combined, they need to have a handicap railing Because the tub is high and hard to step over in the bathtub is slippery

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is the best, lots of choices of food. There are some stores like Mcdo near the property and other restaurant, and also SAVEMORE grocery incase u need something to buy. U can book GRAB for service or take-out food easily. 3 swimming pools in total. The property accommodated all my request, a crib for my 3yr old son for FREE! They even put up extra bed for my other son but i told them no need for it because 2 full beds are enough. The Toilet & Bathroom area in our room is big. We enjoyed our stay 🥰

I have nothing bad comment but a suggestion to make. The slide in playground area, it is better if it will renovate & improve. Since the hotel usually has guests of FAMILY, the kids will enjoy it more aside from the kids pool.

The hotel had a great feel to it, I loved the wood and the beautiful plants, trees & flowers. My children loved the 3 pools. Breakfast was varied with lots of choice. We had an evening buffet one night which was great. The beach was really nice and enjoyed having happy hour cocktails & nibbles in the cove bar. The staff were so friendly & helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable and airy.

The bed was quite firm, I was ok sleeping on it but my husband found it too firm. A minor thing for us and didn’t affect our stay

Great resort offering a good range of dining options, swimming pools, private beach and activities. Staff are all very kind and attentive. The bar at the beach is great for winding down and having a drink.

The sewerage smell in the bathroom wasn’t pleasant, they could try some air fresheners to combat the odour. The regular dinner buffet (not theme night) was underwhelming as it seemed to have too much Korean/Chinese influence to the menu to accomodate guests but I was expecting to see more Filipino favourites. Both occasions I have stayed at the resort they have not had the pool towels ready in the rooms and I’ve had to ring reception with a long delay. On both occasions I end up flagging down a staff member on my own who provided the towels.

Amazing hospitality! We travelled as a family of 3 with a newborn, and we had a great time! The staff are so genuinely helpful and cheerful, smiling, I can't say enough. The food in all of the restaurants was so delicious! Loved the pools and also the seawater! I wish we had free use of water facilities for even a short time. We loved their creative themed sessions in their restaurant! The performers were also amazing! Our accommodation was splendid and well prepared despite how busy they were and we had to wait a bit, we enjoyed our stay. Also, the massages are fabulous 🤩. We hope to come back!

The pools and personnel did good job. Excellent breakfast! Nice happy hour! Special Resto Fresh sea food cooked as you like it ( you make your choice), shrimp, lobster, big fish, sea shells, etc.

Booked two rooms but Request for adjoining room wasn’t fulfilled. Family with two kids were made to stay in the upper floor! Upper floor Room was not bright enough. Car service wasn’t there. The driver should anticipate there’s long waiting in the toll gates, or know whenever the flight is delayed. But Maribago rep could offer a substitute car.

We really loved their rooms, it was spacious and located next to the pool. Location was great too with many restaurants and an SM grocery within 200 metres outside the resort.

I didnt like that they tried to charge us for our kids breakfast, even though I selected the options to include breakfast for all. Fortunately I found a line in my booking.com confirmation that says "Prices for your children are included in the price shown." This was enough for them to wave the charges. The man-made beach has also seen better days, specially in low tides.
