Beautiful cottage, with an outdoor bathroom. Our favourite part was sitting and reading on the front porch. Breakfast served to your cottage every morning. Beautiful views and serene landscape. All the staff go above and beyond to ensure the stay is as comfortable as possible, and they are very helpful with booking tours and transportation. Lovely was so warm and nice to talk to in the evenings! Thank you!!
The road leading up to the property could be better as it is quite bumpy coming in with a tuk tuk.

Absolutely beautiful accommodation with so many thoughtful touches. The cottage was gorgeous, we loved the outdoor bathroom with the bathtub. The social area is great, free tea, coffee and water and hammocks to chill out. We also took advantage of the movie night which was really nice. The staff are all so friendly and helpful and breakfast is fab. Great vibes and overall one of our favourite accommodations during our 3 month trip. Thank you Tongo Hill
Not the fault of the hotel, but be aware it is very noisy at night as the cottages are completely open. Not just nature noises but each night we were there there was loud music from nearby until the early hours of the morning which was difficult to block out even with ear plugs.

Really beautiful little cottages, and our room had a really lovely bathroom & shower with a cute view. Cottages are about 10 mins from the centre which is easily accessible via tricycle which the hotel organized for us. We had a lovely couples massage and they also had a little campfire with smoores which was a really cute and a romantic touch (especially as we were on our honeymoon). Staff were also super friendly and helped us arrange a tour to the waterfalls which was so much fun! And breakfast was really lovely!
Even with two fans in the room it was extremely humid which made it quite difficult to sleep. Felt cooler outside than in the room somehow, but we did have a cool outdoor shower and bath which helped a bit.

An absolute gorgeous stay. When you're in true nature i always worry about unwanted visitors but we didn't have any thanks to the mosquito net. Showering under the stars was unforgettable Slightly removed from the hustle and bustle which is just how we like it because we enjoy renting scooters (which the property also arrange) The staff were so welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much to ask for. Since we were leaving super early for canyoneering they pre-arranged breakfast the night before for us to have in the morning We enjoyed the second floor communal space after canyoneering and we slept so deeply in the hammocks for 3 hours. Pure bliss Thankful this place exists

I cannot say enough great things about this place. The service was absolutely incredible - not to overinflate expectations, but the service was concierge level great. The guests who stay here skew a bit younger, it seemed like this is a place backpackers can go for a bit of luxury, privacy, and peace. Everything they booked for us from massage to tricycles to cross-island transport was amazing (and very reasonably priced), and they clearly have a great network. These are really honest people, with such great hospitality, I would trust them with anything. They don't have a full service restaurant on site yet (they have a small kitchen where they make breakfast and sammies), but there's a local restaurant that delivers right to your room, and it was DELICIOUS. It was so nice to enjoy delicious Filipino food from the comfort of our own "home". The dogs and cats that live here are also SO sweet, I really enjoyed when they would visit us on the porch as we relaxed in the morning or evening. They always made accommodations for us to have an early breakfast when our tour picked us up before breakfast officially started, which I appreciated so much! There's no AC, but it really wasn't a problem, since there were 2 very powerful fans in the room (we actually got cold and had to turn one of them off in the middle of the night), and the structure of the cottages makes for really good ventilation. The location was also perfect for us. It's outside of the hustle of central moalboal, a bit in some farmlands but still only a 10 minute tricycle ride away from town. When we woke up early for jetlag, we'd go to the crows nest in the social area, make ourselves some self serve coffee (free and available 24/7), and watch the sun rise while the neighbors brought out their cows and goats to graze. Every single thing here is amazing and I can't recommend it enough.

The place is just amazing! Very aesthetically pleasing and beautiful! The staff is very friendly and nice and definitely made the trip amazing. Plus it has several add on services that are perfect (massage, pick-up/ drop-off). To conclude the breakfast is amazing
We all know it beforehand, but not having the AC makes a huge difference…we had fans in the room, but during some periods it’s just not enough. Additionally the water pressure in the shower could be improved and the mosquito net in the bed as well, as there are some parts that don’t close well.

I booked Tongo Hills for the 1st week of our honeymoon in The Philippines. The staff member got in touch via the messaging service on booking.com and introduced themselves, explained the facilities and services they offer such as airport transfers and we had a really lovely honeymoon package too- included drinks and massage. Upon arrival we were welcomed with friendly smiles, our room was beautifully decorated for our Honeymoon. It was evident that a lot of thought and care went into this. The hospitality we received during our stay at Tongo was exceptional! Staff were so friendly, always bright smiles on their face; they were all a pleasure to be around. Nothing was too much, especially when it came to guiding us through booking reputable excursions. We had THE BEST TIME!! We were only bed & breakfast here, the food was lovely and I also developed an obsession for mango shakes thanks to Tongo Hills! They do the best mango shake in the whole of Philippines! I’m telling you! Haha! The whole property was very unique, serene and beautifully kept. We loved the simplicity of the property, truly relaxing experience. We didn’t have any issues with bugs/mosquitoes, yes it was hot but the fan did the trick. Favourite part of the room was the shower! I love the concept of incorporating nature in the shower area. The property had the sweetest little furr babies! The dogs and cats are so CUTE & Friendly. Tongo Hills was our favourite stay in the Philippines 💖 I would definitely recommend them if you’re in Cebu/Moalboal area. All the staff members are little gems 💎 especially Zenia and Lovely 🥰

The location was a little out of town which we loved! It was in peaceful surrounds and the service from the staff was the best we experienced in the Phillipines. They ensured every part of your stay was easy - from breakfast options, to transport into town and to the airport and spa treatments. We stayed here for our honeymoon while we explored Moalboal and other areas and we really loved it!
The property has a few noisy neighbours but nothing that spoilt the experience.

Staff - so friendly, helpful and welcoming. Massage - 600 pesos for an hour and arranged by reception. Excellent massage, get one! Grounds - super pretty & relaxing. Free filtered water, tea & coffee available in the communal area. Food - reception can arrange for food to be delivered by a local restaurant if you don’t fancy going into town (approx. 6 mins away in a tricycle).
Nothing really, although can be a little noisy - roosters/animals etc. Although I had earplugs & was also offered some by reception.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Tongo Hills Cottages, and were blown away by this hidden gem. From the incredible mountain views to the warm hospitality (Zenia, Rosalie, Ate Marcel, the owners-Caroline...everyone!), our time at Tongo exceeded every expectation. We stayed in one of the cozy bahay kubos 'Adelfa', which featured beautiful native hardwood details, bamboo decor, and luxurious modern amenities like WiFi and hot shower. The room was spotless and the beds were surprisingly comfortable despite being small (my partner is Dutch). We also loved the cute attention to detail and add ons like: locally-made soap&shampoo bars, movie & bonfire nights.
Nitpicks: - fans are too industrial-like (noisy and blowing too much) - had to ask for an extra blanket (the one provided was too thin and small) - bathroom rug was missing (we had to use one of our towels) - very limited breakfast options for long-term guests
