From when I entered after a long day I was met with happy faces just what I needed after a long day , the room amazing and the food and facilities so good I booked for five days snd then an extra 12 I could easily stay here but so much more of the Philippines to see but I will be back before I go home to the U.K.

The facilities made this place. The rooms were good but fairly basic, but all you need as a base Lose tap fitting Shower wasn't very powerful Aircon did break- but fixed quickly TV only good for locals Breakfast menu not very inspired Slightly out of town but easy 200 pesos in with a trike always waiting outside

The property is spacious, like a compound, with a great pool area. Although we didn’t stay there all the time since we were often out exploring, we still really appreciated the place. The only downside is the location—it’s a bit far from Panagsama, where we spent most of our time, so we had to rent a motorbike daily (₱500/day). However, it’s very accessible to the downtown area, which was convenient. It takes around 10–15 minutes to get to Panagsama and just about 5 minutes to reach the downtown.

So far, I don’t really have any dislikes. But I would love to suggest providing a drying rack at the front lawn area—it has space, and it would be really useful. Since most guests go swimming and enjoy the sun, it would be nice to have somewhere to hang wet clothes instead of using the terrace tables and chairs.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We recently stayed at Garden Village Resort in Moalboal and had such a wonderful experience. We booked 3 rooms for our group, and everything exceeded our expectations. The service was truly excellent—every staff member was warm, accommodating, and always ready to help us with anything we needed. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and felt like a perfect home base after a day of exploring. One thing that really stood out was their honesty and integrity. My friend accidentally left a gold necklace in the room after we checked out. The team immediately assisted us in locating it and processing the return. We truly appreciate their quick action and transparency, and now we’re just waiting to receive the necklace back. Thank you to everyone at Garden Village Resort for making our stay so smooth and memorable. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Moalboal!

Our stay was very comfortable, the facilities were amazing (rooms look like they'd been updated since the photos which was a pleasant surprise). You have a mini lodge/villa to yourself, kettle, mugs etc, little porch area, closed off fence around the front garden. The pool looked immaculate( unfortunately no time to use it) and restaurant and bar looked good with variety of choice. A tuktuk was organised for us in seconds and we even did the spa trip as advertised in the rooms. The walls weren't thin, shower and bathroom spacious, comfortable beds. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again.

While we had aircon, it didn't seem to get too cold. We booked three rooms between five of us and found only one of us got proper quilts, the rest had blankets or a sheet. We'd have preferred us all to have the quilt instead we had to swap and change between our rooms. Additionally in one of our rooms the ceiling fan did not work which was a little annoying as we got quite hot due to the AC not getting too cool. I do think this was only 1 out of 3 rooms this was the case for as our family members seemed okay with theirs. Also the showers seem to be coming away from the walls and exposing wires behind them so these will need sorting. Apart from these little things, this was an amazing stay and would 100% stay again, thank you so much 😊

The pool area is excellent. The location is good for reaching Kawasan Falls, Panagsama and White Beaches, as the roads fan out near the resort. The air con and hot water were good. It's popular with Westerners who want to relax rather than party. They have a free water refill station. The restaurant meals were tasty. I ate there a lot. All the staff were lovely!

The prices in the restaurant are a little high because they have a captive audience but the low room price makes up for it. There's nowhere else to eat within 500 metres of the resort and there's no footpath which is problematic when the sunsets so early. The WiFi only really functions in the pool and restaurant areas. They need new routers for the rooms.

Have stayed there before and definitely wanted to stay there again. I always choose a poolside room. The staff are very attentive and the restaurant has an excellent selection of dishes to choose from at a very reasonable price for the amazing quality. If I had one small niggle I’d say the breakfast choice was a bit expensive for what it is other than the full breakfast which is awesome. The pool is lovely and plenty of sun loungers around the pool. Lots of beautiful Sunbirds on the flowers too.

You couldn’t hire a motorbike for half a day, it was only for 24 hours, which was a shame - we wanted for two half days in the evenings (as we had a trip one of the mornings) but didn’t want to pay for two full days. Also a shame they don’t offer pickup from the bus stop but they have trikes to hire, then on the way back had to pay 200 for one way when it was less then 5 minutes down the road. A little out of the way of the main town, so you either had to walk for 30 mins on the main road or hire a motorbike (but only for a full day) or a trike which are expensive for a short journey.

Stayed over a week. The place is quiet, nice gsrden overall atmosphere and the stuff was great. Good value.

I am a deep sleeper so it was not a problem for me but in room and the ones next to it you could hear a vibration from the washing machines installed at back of the building. Sonetimes the windows would rattle a bit and needed tibe adjusted not yo vibrate could hapoen day or night maybe they could change lixation of this nachines. alsi the shower heads might need to be changed for better fliw ones. Otherwise the rooms sre very soacious, clean, and comfortable beds

This is a really nice property with a very homey, village like feeling to it. The name reflects that, and it is true. Nice, comfortable rooms, a terrific restaurant and bar on site, friendly staff, clean facilities, wonderful landscaped, this was really a pleasure to stay in.

This is not a negative so much as something to be aware of. It is not next to anything really. It's on the main drag between downtown Moalboal and the beach, but not close to either. Panagsama is a taxi or tricycle ride away, at about 2.5 km. If that's not a problem, it's a great price for a very nice property with a cozy, neighborhood type of feeling.
