Frequent miscommunications or difficulties communicating with staff that made admin things take longer Shared toilets are pretty rustic Karaoke was right next to my room. I was exhausted after a long day out and wanted to nap. Even with ear plugs, it was overwhelmingly loud Dorm beds aren't super sturdy, dorm would benefit from more outlets and lamps.

The location is great, big room and bathroom easy for a senior citizen. The bed is very comfortable . staff are nice and very helpful . It is also a pet friendly which we like. everything meet our expectation. We surely recommend the place to our family and friends.

I think just the parking space it is smaller but staff always help us to make a way in and out. The sound system is too close to our favorite room but its alright anyway the karaoke stops at the time specified by the management.

A good place to be based for Oslob Whale Shark watching. The hotel staff organized the trip down there for us (about 15-30 min on a trike) We left at 530am to be there by 6am. There was already a line, but our hotel had tickets ready for us and we were on the first group of boats out to see the whale sharks on their first feeding. (that was by far the best perk- otherwise you could end up waiting in line for hours) It was located close to town which made it easy for us to walk to dinner at one of the 3 restaurants available in "town". The place has a little gazebo and a koi fish pond. It's a perfect place for a one night stay to do the whale sharks and then move on. They had hot water. Wifi was a bit spotty, so can't be relied upon to do real "remote work" but enough to look things up, message etc.

Something to keep in mind: The walls are super super thin and you can hear your neighbors conversation. I wasn't bothered by it all and everyone goes to sleep early and gets up early, but just something to keep in mind. It wouldn't stop me from recommending this place to others :)

Everything ! What a wonderful place. It's a beautiful lodge with a nice chilling area. The personnel were adorable and will help you with everything (ask to book for the whale shark tour with them. It's wonderful and they are really helpful) The bedroom was clean (we even had a free upgrade) The beds were comfortable. The food at the restaurant was good. There are not too many mosquitoes. And what a nice feeling to arrive in a place with a nice deco for Halloween!! (They also decorate for Christmas and other Christian fest) What more to say? We really appreciate our stay there and the location is also more than agreeable (and the people in Oslob are just wonderful)

Just maybe the light in the bathroom was sometimes jumping but nothing was bothering us.

The room was clean and tidy. When we arrived, the room smelled like the rooms in some expensive resorts here in the Philippines. The lady in the reception, Jona, was so kind to help us with our inquiries with the tours. She even helped us book for the whaleshark activity the next day and the tuktuk that took us there. The tuktuk driver, Kuya Pael, guided us on the whaleshark registration process. He also guided us to the boat going to Sumilon island sandbar. The island was great. The sand was sugary white and the corals and fishes were just fantastic! They have a restaurant inside Oslob New Village and the food was like the best! I've been to some restaurants while in Manila but this one, it's to die for! And their prices are reasonably perfect! One thing that I also liked about this place was the staff. They really get out of their way to help you in every way possible. The place is so relaxing and quiet, I would love to stay longer like for a month. Too bad I had to fly back home. Well, at least next time, I already know where to stay when I'm in Cebu. Oslob New Village it is!!!

I didn't like that I only have so little time to stay in this little piece of heaven. I will definitely come back to stay longer.

The place is an Oasis in the middle of the town of Oslob. It is very relaxing to stay here that I did't want to go home anymore. This is really a breather from work. You will hear the sound of the man-made stream and the sound of the birds like you're in the middle of a forest. It's nice to meditate here and do soul searching. The Heritage park is just 2-3 min walk. I love having pictures with the Cuartel ruins. It's like being taken back in the 1700's. One more great thing about this place is they have a restaurant and bar that serves sumptuous menu at an affordable price. I don't have to go out and look for food places. But if you still want to try other food places, the public market is just a few steps away. There is 7eleven nearby too if you ever wanna buy anything and an ATM machine right across the street. Basically, it's the best place in Oslob, and I will definite come back here and I definitely recommend it to my friends and families.

Basically, I love everything in this place.

Spacious room. AC worked well. Not too loud. Bathroom was a good size and a curtain separated the open shower from the toilet. Hot water worked well. ventilation is good. nice front porch to lounge on. setting is pretty spacious and there is a small above ground pool that was relatively clean. food available but we didn’t have it. they cleaned the room and offered fresh towels which is nice since it’s quite humid.

no swimmable beach nearby. there is a grassy area with a sea wall. about 15 minutes away from whale shark experience (not a bad thing). Not enough staff to cook and bartend during our stay. laundry is priced per piece. consider going to a laundry mat. water cooler- it has the ability to cool the water. however, they constantly turn it off. I asked for it to be on in the morning to allow the water to be cool and fresh. In the evening, it was off again and the water was warm! twice in one day. At least, it’s offered to save from using single use plastic, but then why bother having one to cool it down??

Extreamly accomodating, helpful and nice staff, clean rooms and very helpful in assisting me to make my trip perfect.

AC can be loud at times.

Spacious rooms, very nice staff and comfortable rooms. It is the second time we stay in this hotel and I will come back for sure when in Oslob again

Unfortunately our bed had lots of ants, but not their fault. They moved us to another room quickly and problem solved :)
