The staff were very nice and very helpful. We made some special dinner requests which were all accommodated with fair expense. The food ordered Off the menu was far better than the "official" menu. id highly recommend any guest to request a charcoal grill meal which the staff seemed happy to prepare. the property is beautiful and peaceful and not too far from things to do. Serene environment without any of the crazy nightlife of sabang or white beach. This is a good place for families or anyone who appreciates a quiet night.

Internet! the hotel should not advertise that they have WIFI because they really don't. They have probably the cheapest data cap available and only top it up when guests complain and even then by so little that you will be lucky to check your email before its gone. we had no internet after the first day. this is THE biggest issue. they have good reviews here because people are trying to get away from their jobs and E-junk but its really annoying if you just want to spend a day watching netflix. They have a TV in the room but its small, the speakers are well blown to hell so you cant hear anything and the reception is spotty. overall not a deal breaker just don't be like us and make sure to bring a tablet loaded with movies BEFORE you go.

The view!!! Sounds of waves! Wind! ..ocean breeze!...It is next to the water..(no sandy beach) staff are good..location is far from noisy night life...I loved it!..waking up early is a loving life exercise!. ❤️

If I may...Lights on the balcony are .too obtrusive to relax at night on the balcony/grounds and enjoy the ocean/night. Very low level lights would be better or let the guests control it...it would be fantastic if you do. Property has fantastic.security cameras..so...dimmer lights are ok...Also, it would be better if the screen windows are stronger for guests to keep windows open at night and .enjoy the ocean breeze.and feel secure...less AC usage too!! ...few ideas here and there..but otherwise..just a great place to get away...take a book!🙏🏿

Superb location right on a nice little cove. Excellent snorkeling right down the beach, head out towards the mouth of the cove for the best corals, and morning for the best water conditions. We noticed that on the far side of the cove right off the mouth of it is a spot where a lot of dive boats come. Be careful of the marine life, lots of yellow lipped sea kraits, a few stone fish, and lion fish. Keep an eye out for monkeys up the beach. Food was superb! We didn't try anything western, but the Filipino food was fantastic. The turon were absolutely delicious!

Note, there's no sandy beach here, obviously not something they can change, but the only negative I could think of.

There are 2 buildings for the accomodation. They gave us the old one. We are 3 people who stay at the resort. The extra bed is a single bed and is nice as it is same level with the double bed. The room is spacious but there are mosquitoes inside as our door has small entry at the bottom. Due to the hole, the cold air from AC is not really felt. They gave us mosquito repellent that can be plugged in and it reduced the mosquitoes inside the room. Since the room is old, there’s also a bit smell in the toilet but it is tolerable. We just noticed these things but the good side of this accomodation is indeed in front of the beach, the surrounding is beautiful and full of plants. We love the staff because they are accomodating, respectful and very helpful. We love them. They can also help in providing tricycle service. We rented the tricycle service for land tour. Kuya was so nice! The place is very calming and quiet. We spent almost $100 for 3 pax but I think they may improve the rooms or make some repairs. Their best asset I guest is the staff, the exteriors of the accomodation and the beautiful view. Best to view sunrise.

1. The hotel is located in a scenic bay. We could tucked away from the hustle and bustle of touristic area and city life. We enjoyed the peace of mind, privacy, quietness and fresh air. We love hearing the sea waves sound at night,. 2. It has its own restaurant. Breakfast is simple, coffee is good. Food that we ordered for dinner were delicious. 3. Our room is big, facing the sea, and next to the swimming pool. 4. There are lots of outdoor and garden space. I could sleep in the outdoor hammock comfortably or sat in a table to enjoy my afternoon chat with friend while facing the beachfront and scenic view. 5. Though the beach is rocky, I could still snorkelled and swam. I could not find any coral reef, just saw some tiny fish and some sea weeds. Having said that, I still enjoyed snorklling in this "private beach". 6. In terns of the location, it is in a very quiet area. That is why we picked this resort. It only took us 300 peso by tuk tuk to reach the white beach. From white beach another 200 peso to Balatero Port where we took ferry back to Bantagas.

1. Hot water in the bathroom is not running steadily. I guess it relates to low water pressure in the area. 2. To climb up the spiral stairs to the restaurant was a bit difficult for us due to our age. 3. Some guests next door smoke frequently. I wish the resort could be designated as a non-smoking resort.

Superbly furnished, very spacious, clean and comfortable room, with an amazing close ocean view make for an unforgettably lovely memorable experience. Its tropical landscaping are as perfect as its phenomenal grand architecture. The individual villas and huge rooms are far more special than any hotel room. There's a small barbecue pit area overlooking the ocean, most convenient for guests in the big white house. and perfect if prepared with groceries. The staff, manager, and owner were most gratefully very accommodating, even helping arrange transportation from the ferry to the island and to the resort. (Thank you for all of that, Blue Crystal Beach Resort.) The price is amazingly fair. For a young couple on a romantic getaway, guests especially with their own transportation, and for anyone needing a serene Zen retreat, this must be the island's most ideal resort.

The beach is too rocky for wading; not a place for swimming. The restaurant on the second floor requires climbing such steep steps to enter, it's too risky for older guests and not conducive for spontaneous guest socializing. The waitress hospitality training could use a refresher. There is no lobby, cafe, or bar on the ground level convenient for guests to enjoy socializing. There are no amenities nearby, no convenience store or other cafes or anything within walking distance. Without ones' own transportation, one is dependent on paying drivers for each and every outing. The entire experience, therefore, is one of isolation in a setting so awesomely quiet, beautiful, and grand, it is breathtaking and awe-inspiring, not to be missed, even if for one night. I'd definitely love to return.

The Hotel is right on the water front. The staff were very attentive and informative and the breakfast and meals we had at the hotle were excellently prepared. It is a nice place to just chill out rather than be in a bustling town or beach. There is no real beach at the hotel and on the days we were there it was windy and access to the water is not easy through the rocky inshore. However it is well sited to visited to Sabang Town/Beach and Puerto Galera itself for 200 peso each way (the hotel can call you a ride), where from Muelle Pier you can get a boat ride to Snorkel the Coral Gardens and Giant Clams. We also visited White beach a 400 peso ride away.

Nothing really it was a nice quiet place which is what we wanted.

One of the best places we stayed in the Philippines. Location - right on the beach. Beautiful landscaping and , trees and flowers. Swimming pool with a view. Good size room with sea view, nice bathroom, kitchen section. Terrace will comfortably chairs. Lots of drinking water. Good breakfast and delicious lunch and dinner on second floor with a lovely view. Personal amazing! In addition motorcycle rental and massage on the premises.If I add Mediterranean architecture of the buildings - what else can be better?

The day we have to leave… But of course the transportation to the ferry was arranged by the hotel.

If you want to see the sunrise, this place is the best. You'll have your private sunrise as soon as you open the door. It's like a ferry tale. The resort is surrounded by a wonderful tropical garden and has in front the greatest ocean. No beach, but with a little care, you can swim nonetheless. The owner was very helpful in solving my air conditioner problem (even from Japan, THANK YOU), as well as Michelle and Melody, which were just great. I thank them all for being so friendly and helpful. I came with Manila vibes and left with Phillipines vibes because there are indeed 2 countries, there is Manila, and there are The Phillipines. Very good, helpful, and kind people live in The Phillipines. Wonderful scuba diving near the resort, Dive Dao. Please just do yourself a favour and change that old, antique air conditioner and the old furniture. You deserve 4 stars, but ...

This hotel is a very relaxing place to stay. Perfect for a little romantic getaway. There is no sandy beach, but it is still seaside. The little garden area is a great spot to relax, and the view from inside the restaurant is wonderful. All in all, a great value if you are looking for a nice getaway.

The TV inside the room could definitely use an upgrade. There was also mosquitos inside the comfort room, that always come back no matter how many you kill.
