Such polite, caring, efficient and attentive staff managed by the owner Kai, who ensures the highest standards are met at all times. The location of Papa Fred's is on the beach front and is outstanding with stunningly beautiful views across the ocean to the islands. It is also very convenient to all the local restaurants and bars. My room was very clean and extremely comfortable with a balcony on the beach front. The room has a SMART TV with 100s of channels. The bed is a king size with quality bedding. The room also has a well stocked mini bar. Absolutely beautiful room. I will definitely be staying there next time I visit Sabang.

There was nothing to dislike with the exception of the occasional brown outs (power outages). With that being said, Papa Fred's has a standby generator which restores power to the rooms very quickly after the start of a brown out.

The only place I'd stay at in Sabang. I'd highly recommend staying in the newly renovated Ocean View rooms. At the time of booking, I had no idea they were so amazing and at a great price. They are so tastefully presented with wonderful views. As usual, all the staff from the owner down were so friendly and accommodating. The location is fantastic and close to all restaurants and facilities. Papa Freds is also a great alternative to all the dive orientated accommodation in Sabang. I was so impressed, I booked my next stay while I was there.

Once again Papa Fred's was a great place to stay, and as always, the staff and owner was very accommodating. It's close to all food and drink options and although it's primarily a dive orientated location, there's plenty to do day and night and the new sea walk is now complete. It's also relatively easy to get to from Manila. The hotel was being renovated during my stay but it wasn't an issue and it will be nice to return to stay in one of the new sea front rooms that are being constructed. Great value for money.

Location, friendly staff, the balcony with the Jacuzzi. They even accommodated us with late checkout. I recommend staying here and will probably visit again. They don't offer breakfast but there are several restaurants within walking distance. Location was great for me

Wifi, electricity and water smell are problems throughout Puerto galera and Philippines .This didn't bother me as I was on holiday but it bothered my partner. The hotel does have a generator for when the electricity goes off.

Amazing location - fabulous accommodation and brilliant staff. Kai the owner takes the utmost pride in giving the very best service as does his reception staff with Wheng and her team doing everything possible for the guests. BRILLIANT!!!

The location is great for all the dive shops and various other things on offer in Sabang. So close and the newly constructed “esplanade” makes walking to/from much easier now. Rooms are basic but comfortable and clean. The property has a generator which is essential in Sabang (brown outs). Food at the restaurant is tasty with a nice outlook over the water. Staff are friendly.

I’ve stayed at Papa Fred’s several times in various rooms. I don’t have any major issues except there could be more places to put/hang things. A line for hanging towels, wet rashies etc, shelves for toiletries etc. Also the two rooms directly at the front often have people milling about and their talking penetrates the room, which some might find a little annoying, but it’s not a big deal.

I walk using rollator for balance, so a few stairs are ok and I was comfortable using the ground floor room. Somebody in wheelchair would not do well here. Nice TV, decent internet, cold aircon. This hotel is pretty basic as expected for price. Staff very helpful and friendly. The steak house is top notch.

Upper floor and restaurant access involves dangerous steep stairs. Rooftop swimming pool is not accessible for handicap. Sabang Beach has been destroyed by a concrete seawall project. No sand and nobody swimming or sunbathing. Boats for island hopping and snorkel and scuba is nearly impossible for moderately disabled tourists so popular with Koreans that there are few other dining options.

The staff were amazing, nothing was to much for them, great location. The room was great especially the balcony, we had a view of the sea, 2 sundowners, a jacuzzi and a big lazy bed, you didn't have to move if you didn't want to.

Location is very good. On the beach front but away from the noisy bars. Comfortable room, clean and good a/c . Helpful staff.

Two people in the pool and it's full. Never seen such a small pool and sunbathing area for only four.

The location is good, right on Sabang bay and very close to the market, easy to get around. Our room is big and has a balcony where we could hang things to dry.

It was not the resort’s problem but the electricity went off a couple of times during our stay.
