Emoha resort exceeded all of our expectations. It’s as beautiful as the pictures show, if not more so. The rooms are comfortable with an amazing view of the ocean. The food was delicious and the staff could not have been more wonderful. A huge thank you to all of them. A special thank you to Rafael for being so attentive and our dive master Ron, who was amazing. A member of our group celebrated their 50th birthday while we were there and they went out of their way to make it a special day. The owner, Lottie, even made an amazing cheesecake for the celebration. The diving out front is fantastic. No need to get in a car or boat for a 30 to 60 min ride (unless you want to go 25 min down the road for the whale shark experience), just hop on the house board and go 2 to 5 min up or down the coast, and you will find a new adventure. The amount of life on display is out of this world. We even had a whale shark cruise right by us as we were finishing our dive. If you want to snorkel, just walk out from the boat ramp and enjoy. I can not not recommend Emoha Dive Resort highly enough.

We have booked a 2-day stay in Emoha Dive Resort. The room is very clean and well maintained. The area around the resort is very peaceful and there's a lot of attractions nearby. We have gone to do the whale watching and see the Tumalog Falls. They offer diving excursions, howeve, we were unable to do it due to the rainy weather and time constraints. The owners were very approachable and communicated well. They were able to cater our needs during our stay, especially our late checkout. Excellent service from the staff. They have good food with generous serving. They made sure that they put care and a heart to all the guests visiting in their place. Thank you very much.

Staying at Emoha was so far our best experience while travelling in the Philippines. From the first step into the property we felt at ease. The resort is beautifully designed, clean, quiet, as it’s away from the main road and safe. All the facilities are well maintained, organized and well taken care of, starting from the floor of the resort up to the roof which to me looked like engineer’s masterpiece. Rooms are very specious with a big balcony and amazing view, quiet AC, comfortable bed, clean bathroom with strong water pressure and abundance of hot water, drinking water was available at the water station downstairs. Resort has a swimming pool, hammocks and you can also order massage and will be accommodated with massage beds right there in the garden with soothing sea breeze. During our stay we visited Oslob Whale Shark watching point which is 20 minutes drive away and Aguinid Falls, we went snorkelling every day and couldn’t get enough of it! Special thanks to our gracious host Lottie who welcomed us, Rafael resort's diving instructor who shared about great coral reef wonders which were just a step away from the resort, helpful and smiling girls and wonderful chef who amazed us with her cooking skills. In the future we would definitely like to stay at Emoha and can recommend it to someone who’s looking for a comfortable stay with great style.

A very relaxing place! This resort is very peaceful and wonderful little getaway place. Lottie, one of owners, is so helpful on booking whale-sharks watch. my daughter really enjoyed it. Snorkeling right in front of the resort. the water is very clean has many colorful fishes, purple and fresh blue starfishes, Nemo’s family and lovely corals. we spent hours snorkeling during the day. the lounge chairs by the pool look simple but surprisingly comfortable to lie down read or fell to naps. At evening, Lottie arranged massages for us in the garden with very reasonable price. My 13 year-old daughter loves to lie down on the hammock in the morning and watching the stars and listening the waves in the evening. Staffs are very friendly, we ordered almost everything on the menu during our stay, shrimp, fish, chicken and beef are all very good. My daughter build her own vegetarian pizza and was made deliciously by the kitchen! my favorite is their organic house salad with fresh mango! We had fresh coconuts water, papaya fruits daily after some water activities. they are from the tree on the property picked by the staff. The room is very clean, the bed is really comfortable, better than looked on the pictures. the sunset view is beautiful. we stayed three nights and enjoyed entirely, wish to stay longer. will definitely come back!!

The whole experience was amazing. The hosts were friendly along with the staff and any trips were a breeze. The reefs around the area were incredible, being able to walk out from the resort onto a reef with incredible corals and fish is a luxury. The diving sites around the area offer amazing wildlife that caters to all experience levels from discovery dives to certified divers.

Despite it being a drive from the main airport in Cebu, it was absolutely worth it. Organising transport was a breeze and there is a closer airport if car rides aren’t your thing.

Our stay at Emoha Dive Resort was exceptional. The welcoming owners and attentive staff made us feel right at home and went above and beyond to ensure our trip was memorable. The main reason we were in the area was to see the whale sharks in Oslob, and the team was incredibly helpful with arranging transport and guiding us through the ticketing process. Their support made the experience seamless and stress-free. The resort itself is beautiful—our room was clean, comfortable, and eco-friendly, and we loved the delicious vegetarian meal options. For snorkeling and diving enthusiasts, the coral reefs just off the property are stunning, and exploring them was a true highlight. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with outstanding service and easy access to incredible underwater adventures, Emoha Dive Resort is an excellent choice. We hope to return soon!

I liked everything. I do wish I had known in advance to bring cash for incidentals and meals.

For us, it was an oasis. We felt like home, but most of all we loved how accommodating the owners and staff were. Everything is done with a lot of respect for the surroundings, and all materials and details have been carefully chosen. We could rent a great scooter from the property and explore the area - they advised us to go to Aguinid falls, a place not sopopular amongst tourists and incredibly beautiful. It was completely different than all accommodations we had in the Philippines. Just keep in mind that if you fly to Cebu City, the distance of less than 90 km is done in 4-5 hours, so consider choosing Damaguete Airport, is way much closer. Emoha is very close also to Oslob Whale sharks watchig, 15 minutes by scooter. Also, if you love to dive or snorkel, the beach in front of the property offers spectacular reef views. To conclude, the photos are exactly like the reality, or even less. We recommend it with all our hearts! Thank you for everything! Madalina and Cedric

Hands down, a wonderful place. Lottie and Raf were attentive and accommodating. Our dive master, Ron was excellent. We went scuba diving every day, it was irresistible not to. We also loved snorkeling right on the property, relaxing in the pool, getting massages in the garden, it was all lovely. And the food at Emoha is excellent. A wide variety of sophisticated offerings on the menu, all prepared beautifully.

I have zero complaints about any aspect of our stay.

We really enjoyed the food there; every dish we ordered was delicious (none like other restaurants we tried in Cebu), and the ocean view added to the experience. We liked it so much that we ended up having both lunch and dinner on the same day. The fresh tuna tataki is a must-try! Additionally, the interior design is quite aesthetic, and the room was very clean. The owner and the staffs are very friendly and helpful - always smiling. The driver the owner arranged on our way back to Cebu city was also very nice and the ride was very comfortable.

Location, nice room, views, sunsets, a clean area, and silent surrounding where you can really relax.
