The location is very convenient to the Silay Bacolod Airport. Good, Safe location.

Would have been nice if the air conditioner was running in the room before we got there. The weather was so stiflingly hot and humid outside and the room was very hot when we entered. I understand the need to save electricity and energy if the room is unoccupied but if you know that guests are coming, then the accomodation should be prepared accordingly. Otherwise, we like the place. We had questions about the history of the house and unfortunately, the housekeeper is unknowledgeable. No hot water the next day when we all needed to take a shower. I would have taken lukewarm but not super cold.

The staff of Balay 8 served the BEST breakfast of the Philippines and took great care of us. This is a simple, but cozy inn with a personal touch. The AC was strong, the noise level low for the area. Walking distance from the Silay Plaza and mall, 10 min from the Bacoloc/Silay airport. Communal Kitchen can be used by guests.

We had flying ants in one of the rooms, but they disappeared.

Fantastic staff. Friendly, helpful and very professional 👍 Clean and comfortable room/bed. Comfy lounge area with TV. Coffee and cold drinking water always available. Really tasty breakfast 👌 Great location - 15 minutes walk to the local plaza. 5 minutes walk to a supermarket and local stores. Easy and safe storage for our 2 bicycles 🚴🚴 5 Stars and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ate Lorna was able to host us properly and responded promptly to our needs. The place was near key spots in Silay and was very comfortable. The rooms were spacious and the breakfast was good. Must order chicken chorizo. The shared spaces were also nice.

Near to the airport Near to airport but this place is super safe and the staff are super good at all time you cam buy your own food and keep it there ,all good we rebooked 2 more times

Staff went out of their way to provide exceptionally good breakfasts, with freshly brewed coffee too. It was a pleasure to stay in such a beautiful old property. All staff were welcoming and attentive to our needs. Excellent communication with host. Plenty of peace and quiet to enjoy the place. Excellent WiFi.

The water pressure for the shower was weak, but staff did try their best to rectify this.

This homestay is conveniently located in Silay, next to a mall and near the road leading to the Bacolod-Silay airport. The communal room downstairs is good, and the one upstairs is even better. The aircon worked fine, it was excruciatingly hot outside.

The water pressure is limited for a shower. You'd better use the bucket, Malay-style.

The house caretakers were very accommodating and friendly very much likely to help guide your way to Bacolod and recommend places to eat and buses to ride. We had a lovely stay at the suite after our National ladies retreat. We were comfortable and had a relaxing stay. They even let us store our luggage in a separate room after our checkout time, which was such a relief for us travelers!

Nothing it was neat and clean. And the staff is friendly and helpful.

Close enough to the airport. I just needed a bed for a few hours for a scheduled quick meeting. Had 12 hours between my flight in and flight out. It fullfiled my needs. The staff were excellent. I hope I wasn't too much trouble.

The place was very homey and comfy... Had all the basic facilities... Having a stable AC was soooo great specially in the current weather (very hot).

Based on its location and texture, the price was a bit over.
