Nestled in a tropical paradise, Charisma Beach Resort is truly a hidden gem in San Juan, Siquijor. Surrounded by lush trees, vibrant plants, and colorful flowers, the setting is both tranquil and breathtaking. We were especially impressed by the peaceful location, the stunning white-sand beachfront, and the resort’s excellent restaurant. What truly set our experience apart was the warm and professional staff. From the moment we arrived, every team member greeted us with kindness and genuine hospitality. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Charisma Beach Resort team for making our stay so memorable. We can’t wait to return!

Staff were fabulous, very friendly and helpful, room was cute and spotless, was lovely and peaceful right on the beach, although while I was there the tide was way out during the daylight hours so not able to swim there but was still very picturesque.

Unfortunately the pool went green and was unswimmable for most of my stay, although I know they were working on that. There is some rubbish on the beach in front of the hotel, however I stress that this rubbish would have been washed up with the tides and is not dumped by the hotel but would be beneficial to the hotel to keep just their little patch a bit cleaner. My last little point, it would be nice to have a couple of simple desserts on the menu.

Good location in San Juan, directly on the beach and restaurants options nearby, there is also a Minimart in the petrol station across. There is a laundry option when exiting the resort on the left hand side, 1 min walk. Fantastic breakfast with filipino / western options with ocean view. Restaurant also has a pool table. We were able to rent scooter from them , around 400 PHP / day. Nice terrace They called a tricycle upon leaving to bring us back to siquijor port.

The room size was a bit disappointing, we had 2 luggages each and it was a bit complicated to store them.

Location directly on one of the few sand beaches in San Juan area was amazing. Very few hotels on this side of the island have sand beaches. Staff were very friendly, always helpful and smiling. Room was very spacious, bed was big, large fans for the heat and humidity. Amazing waking up to the sea and sand on your doorstep.

Wifi cuts our regularly due to electricity cuts, which are common on the island. Not the fault of the hotel at all but can be frustrating. Food was basic but homemade and fair for the price.

Best word to describe Charisma Beach Resort - idyllic! The location is superb - toes in the sand beach front. The beach is beautifully quiet and so picturesque you have to pinch yourself! The room we had was lovely - comfy bed, jug with tea/coffee etc, clean bathroom with shampoo & shower gel. The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Bar prices were really reasonable and the cocktails delicious. When we requested wine with dinner the owner went out of her way and bought some from a local store for us. Every meal we had at Charisma was fantastic and the included breakfast was cooked freshly for us each day - delicious! The kitty cats (especially baby Milo) were a real highlight for us ❤️ We will definitely be back and will recommend to our friends

Bed was very comfortable. Choice from two density pillows. Cleaning is upon request. The staff will not clean your room without you requesting it. The staff was outstanding, having a beautiful smile every time. Always happy to help and assist with your wishes. Eventhough the menu is officially limited to a few choices from local and international cuisine, the cook is fabulous and if you order anything extra as per your wishes, she will try to do her best to meet your order. I did not use the pool, but pool was not lit after sundown. Rooms interior looks exactly as shown on the property pictures,. Bed is very large and comfortable. A/C is very quite, yet powerful. The staff takes care of the garden, sweeps and waters flowers/bushes. Very nice sea sunset directly infront of the property's beach or even when sitting at the right table in the restaurant.

Bathroom could use some remodeling, maybe a shower curtain. Had to fiddle with the water heater a bit to figure out on how to use it (you need to turn two knobs and activate the water heater). The bathroom tiles look very shaby. Rooster or chicken farms on both sides of the property. But room is sound insulated verywell, even the doors to the bathroom block the roosters noices and could not hear a thing during the night.

Nice small hotel on the beach. Our room faced the sea which was great. Rooms are basic but fine for us. No air con or TV, but the bed was comfy and the shower good. The ceiling fan was useless but there was a floor-standing fan which was great so we didn't need air con Restaurant food was good too. There's a small pool. We didn't use it but it looked nice enough. The sea is lovely for swimming so no need for a pool anyway. Sunsets very nice, and easy to walk to all the San Juan bars and restaurants.

Staff was very kind and helpful. Our AC stopped working but they offered us other rooms which were actually not that good as the one we had. Number 4 has really nice shower but it is a little smaller than the other rooms. Breakfast was ok, granola option is very good. We liked the pool, it is fine. It is really at the beach and the sunset is really stunning here.

Not many sunbeds but usually some of them are availible. The beach and sea is not for swimming due to shallow water and terain on the sea floor. Which was dissapointing but I am not sure how much it is fault od the resort (probably not at all).

We loved the location, in particular the position of our bungalow within the resort as it had an amazing view of the beach through the tropical plants. The verandah & day beds were the perfect spot to relax. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The restaurant was quiet & also had stunning views. The food was excellent & freshly cooked by Rose using local ingredients. The whole resort was peaceful & there was no loud music & no road noise. The pool was clean & a great alternative as the sea was too shallow for a proper swim, which wasn't an issue as Tubod Marine Sanctuary is just a short tricycle ride away. The tropical planting & pool made the resort feel like an oasis. Thank you to all the staff who made us feel very welcome!

Friendly, helpful staff. It was great being able to hire a scooter from the resort.

There was a large amount of plastic rubbish washed up on the beach in front of the resort from a recent storm, which made it pretty unappealing to swim at that beach. The resort management should have arranged the removal of the rubbish. It would not have taken much effort and would allow guests at the resort to enjoy the beach in front of the resort.
