Super well located, gives you instant vacation vibes. The cabanas were spacious and decorated nicely. The best thing about Monkey Business was the staff. You felt welcome right away and they were super attentive. Cool that they rent motorbikes for a good price!

Its not really their fault, but the Internet was down quite a few times for a longer period!

The room was nice, with a comfy bed and nice aesthetic vibes. The location was also very good! They don't have a parking space for cars, though. Staff were easy to talk to (we had an early checkout, so we requested to have bread/butter/coffee for breakfast, and they allowed it, which was extremely helpful).

Although the stay was very good. There were little things that could have been improved. 1. Door to the room wouldn't lock (that might be dangerous if there were strangers passing through the bungalows; you'll never know) 2. Water pressure in the morning is *thumbs down*; at night, it's okay but not really strong. (Understandable) 3. The internet wasn't working - even our data—so it has to be the signal in the location. (Understandable) 4. On our last night, there was a 'little visitor' (cockroach) in the room; we had to dance tinikling to kill it. Thankfully, it wasn't flying.

Super nice and helpful staff. Nicely decorated bungalow with good aircon and roof fan. Well working wifi with starlink and generator in case there are power shortcuts. Worked well for remote work. Comfy bar with good food. Clean and quiet place but next to road for easy access. Live music in few nights per week but not disturbing the rooms. We extended our stay and would have stayed even longer If it wasn't fully booked.

Small ants but not the fault of the hotel and not inside the bungalow. Not a major thing and can be found everywhere on Philippines.

They have Generator not only for rooms but also in restaurant. It was extremely important as i was working. There is Starlink is how i decided to stay, as some time the PLDT in the island had a problem. That was a good addition. 👍 I rented my bike in the property.

Everything was perfect. The hotel is right in the center of Siquijor, next to restaurants, cafés, bars and 100m from the beach. I stayed in a private and very spacious bungalow that could easily accomodate a family. The restaurant has great food and delicious veggie options, with live music every night. The place is pet friendly and has a mini store with beautiful souvenirs. What I enjoyed the most was definitely the staff. I was spending my birthday by myself and thanks to Pamela, Wea and Tom I had the most amazing and welcoming day! Thank you!!

No locker storage for big travel bags The windows do not have thick enough curtains that are beside the bunk beds letting in sun light The top bunks in dormitory does not have privacy curtains or its own plugs / lights There is no social or communal area No security / safety measures ie gate to separate public road or public access to the rooms Food / drinks / laundry washing / moped hire all VERY expensive for the island

Extended my stay. There was not a lot of people during my visit. Worth the money I paid for the dorm. Air con, toiletries and fresh towels that I requested new one on my 2nd day. Coffee at the restaurant, swinging by the hammock is nice. Instant Siquijor vacation vibes. Will definitely come back.

Pleasant stay with Monkey Business as always. Professional and friendly staff. Clean and spacious room. Fast and stable internet connection. Nice vibes in restaurant. Will definitely stay again.

Having ensuite in a dorm is a plus although there is not how water but nor big deal. Bed is comfy, locations is good close to the beach but far away (walking distance) from Paliton Beach.

Room is quite small for 8 beds, rest all good for what we are paying.

Nice place in general- restaurants are just around, very laid back atmosphere, coffee shop in front of the hostel is very nice. Though I must say, food there are very pricey, but it’s worth it I guess. The area is having that Siargao vibes, but still on developing process thus sans the big crowd.

Not much, just one particular staff, though I forgot to get her name- felt like she’s not welcoming. Well I guess it’s just me, but still, I trust my gut feeling. 😬
