The staff are exceptional in their professionalism. There approach to all customers were respectful, punctual, inclusive and professional. They provided services requested promptly and with attention to detail. Each guest was provided their undivided attention and personalized service!

I am eager for a wider range of food choices😋 However, as we stayed 1 month staff did offer a variety of dishes to us. The rooms coukd have a better set up for charging of batteries etc. Particularly bungalow 4 next to dive shop. The couch could be substituted by a longer table with extra outlets for charging, dive computers, torches and camera equipment.

For the money, the Lazi Beach is excellent value. The setting right on the beach, for every lodge is wonderful. The accomdation is rather dated, we had two fans in our lodge, of which the largest sounded like a jet taking off. !!! Fortunately there's a smaller, quieter fan available... the safe was out of action and there was only a trickle of water from the shower... at least it was hot water. Apart from these small issues everything else was to our liking. Especially having your own terrace with comfortable loungers. The room was a very good size. The pool was very pleasant. The restaurant never gets very busy so it was very enjoyable sitting to dine right on the waters edge. The menu has plenty choices at reasonable prices with a specials selection also available. All the food is freshly cooked to order. It is a quiet resort with no loud music.... Special mention must go to the excellent friendly staff and particularly Cherry who was exceptionally cheery and helpful arranging our trips. (It's php2,000 for a hotel shuttle to Larena Port). If you do the island coastal tour, make sure to add on a trip to the mountain view point. We'll worth the extra php500 with the resort minibus. There is also a dive centre on site which is a big pull for many guests. In summary, although it's not perfect, it was really relaxing and chilled. So much so that we stayed an extra night. Fantastic value. We would not hesitate to return again.

The resort is so peaceful and quiet. The room is very spacious, and there's a balcony to laze around. It's not air-conditioned but we were provided with 2 electric fans, and the room is well-ventilated so it's not hot. The place is secluded, very far from the Siquijor's party capital, so it's only recommended to those who want to experience the peace and quiet side of Siquijor. The staffs are very accommodating and friendly. Their food is delicious.

The room only has screen windows, so even a small noise from outside can be heard inside.

We had a lovely stay at the Lazi beach club resort, loved the houses we stayed at. Everything was nice and clean, the room had no AC but two fans, so that was also great. It is near a beautiful coral reef so great for snorkeling and diving, there is also a diving school nearby. The area is a bit remote, but the resort offers both rental bikes and van transfers.

I would have preferred linen sheets, but that is just a minor detail. I also did not really like the food at the restaurant, this is something I have seen very often in the Philippines, they have a very large menu with a lot of frozen foods. I would prefer just 4-5 dishes with fresh local ingredients.

Amazing value for money, we looooved our stay here. Beautifilul views, right by the sea, for the price we expected something much more basic, but the whole place felt almost like a great resort, it was peaceful with a super secluded private beach. The staff was also super kind, we had to leave a night earlier and they were super flexible, offering to “consume” the price of the last night. We greatly appreciated that. We would have stayed for much longer if we could.

Good Hotel with potential to become great. The pool is way too much chlorinated, the paint is brittle, comes off and creates a cloudy pool once there is water movement. Adding chlorine does NOT solve this issue. We got a rash on the skin because of the pool, not really exciting. The food was decent and the rooms were spacious. There are some dogs in the hotel complex which leave their poo on the lawn where it stays for several days...

Lovely staff, great villa. They really tried to accommodate every request, including putting a small Christmas tree in our villa for our kids for Christmas. Nice snorkeling right off the beach (no sand), our kids really enjoyed the pool. Great to have your own big water container in the villa.

Slow response to emails before arriving. You need to be prepared to be far away from other restaurants etc.

We liked it all but to name few - quite location off-the-beaten road overlooking beach. Great staff and owners. Lot of smiles, clear intention to make the stay pleasant. Restaurant serving mainly local dishes, some salads, pizzas, etc. PADI school on the property.

Cannot think of anything, but it depends on what is one looking for, indeed.

I really liked the villa that we stayed in. It was able to accommodate a family of 7. It was spacious, clean, and has that really cool island vibe. I liked the decor a lot. The staff were also very accommodating. They offered us a land tour within our time and budget. They also made sure that we are comfortable while staying inside the resort. Also, the island dogs are all very friendly. They just get too comfortable 😅 The wifi’s really fast too. I bet each room/villa has its own modem.

We were not able to swim at the time as the beach was not that safe. It was rocky and the waves were really strong during high-tide

Wonderful secluded oceanfront location and lovely grounds.Plenty of space to walk and enjoy the views. Great pool for a dip when tide is out. Resort manager Sheila and her team,ably lead by Chef Clint and the restaurant staff will make you very welcome and ensure you enjoy your stay. Great Filipino food available as well as standard western choices. Nice little cafe tucked away in a coconut grove - good coffee. Excellent brand new PADI dive centre on site - Bahura Dive Siqujor run by Rachel and Russ who taught us to dive,and showed us some of the wonderful local marine life and coral formations- absolutely breathtaking. Great patient instructors,very focussed on your safety. The resort is situated right in front of a large reef and marine sanctuary you can swim out to for diving or snorkelling. Quite safe waters with easy access.

Not much at all,although the shower plumbing could use an upgrade anytime soon. It’s ok but could better.
