- The room was very spacious - The bed and sheets were clean - 2 towels were provided each - The pillow was my fave, super comfy - There’s a locker provided per guest - The CR was functional- with a bidet and a hot shower :) - The place has a great ambiance - The Pool was warm and flowing (my fave!) - Staffs were very accommodating - THE FOOD WAS SUPERB!! - Great for making new friends, everybody was friendly

- Water dispenser was located at the reception area, too far away from their resto, hope they can provide 1 in the resto - Breakfast was delicious but it took quite a long time to serve (more than 1 hour hehe) — serving was also big. Good value for money! 💰

The staff are so friendly and kind, especially Julie and the other young girl with long hair who is usually at reception (didn't get her name), they are so helpful. The hostel has a swimming pool with a slide. You get a free welcome drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) that you can redeem at the bar. The dorm has air conditioning, large lockers, and every bed has its own light, power outlet, and curtain for privacy. Even though it was a 26-bed dorm, it didn't feel crowded because the room was so big and spacious. There is free drinking water available. The hostel can rent you a scooter/motorbike and they also offer tours. There are some cute, well-behaved dogs running around the property. Across the street from the hostel there are 2-3 very small mini stores where you can buy bread or instant noodles for a low price. Party atmosphere at the bar if that's what you're looking for.

There is no cell service and the wifi doesn't work at all. The location is far from everything unless you rent a motorbike. The swimming pool could have been a bit cleaner (there were many little dead bugs in the water). They play really loud music at the bar until late at night, at least when I was there on a Friday and Saturday night (didn't bother me much but keep it in mind if you're a light sleeper).

Hey Emily from london here soooooo my whole experience at mad monkey was incredible i had the best time and met so many amazing people who will be friends for life! The place is great so clean and fresh and lots of fun and games at night! There’s motorcycles to rent at the place to i rented one for 3 days and ventured round the waterfalls and beaches was so beautiful!! The Staff are just angels i love you guys you were all so very kind to me thank you so much im a solo traveler so meant so much you made me feel so welcome thank you ! I will be back

Really nice staff, they are very friendly. Dan the manager is a very fun guy who is doing a very good job connecting people with all fun drinking games, excursions like snorkling on a powerboat and more! Rooms are clean and tidy. Overall had soo much fun staying at this hostel.

Beds are a bit squeaky, and bring earplugs if you value early sleeps.

It's located in a quiet and peaceful location but Oh! No way this is a hostel...it's like a resort, swimming pool with a slide! Bar with awesome cocktails great food and music, game nights & spacious rooms even in the sharing accommodation. Impressive but more importantly I loved "Blu"/ Kyle and Jollie here, Very friendly and funny...loads of fun activities planned & they sure make it super exciting! Will definitely want to visit Siquijor & stay here again!!! My favourite place & people in Philippines!

This is located on the other side of the island and you will need to hire a motorcycle to get around as it’s quite remote. It’s probably one of the best Mad Monkey spots in Philippines. Staff are super friendly in particular Jollie and Venn. The rooms are modern, pool and onsite bar/restaurant. There are evening events to bring people together and meet other travellers. Good vibes

Would be better if there were loungers or bean bags to sit around

The staff really tried to make it a Nice place! Jay really made An effort! Nice beds and a good shower! Nice food.

It is clear it is still new. The hostel is far from San Juan and the port. Would be Nice to have a shuttle option cause it is expensive to take a tricycle to the port. Because it is a far distance to any other place drinks could be cheaper. Hope more People go so the athmosphere can get up to Point.

Hot showers were great. Nice privacy in the beds and big lockers. Lots of breakfast options

Additional costs for towel, big deposit for towel and small one for key, location isn’t good for the main town but is fine for exploring waterfalls and if you have a scooter is fine. Plastic covers on mattress v uncomfortable and noisy

Really social and a good time. The location didn’t matter because you need bikes to go around the island anyway. It was clean too

It would have been nice if the hostel did a transfer into town for nights out but they wanted you to stay and buy drinks at the bar
