We almost had the place to ourselves. My children loved exploring the beach. Stunning sunset. Great cocktails and happy hour. We had the hotel arrange a transfer from the ferry to explore the island and then go back to the hotel, which was handy. They also arranged our transfer to the ferry when we left the island. We had dinner and breakfast there, and mostly the food was good, but not always. It was slightly hit and miss. My children liked the pool. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and recommend it to other families.

The staff were friendly but quite slow, and things often took much longer than expected. After we checked out, we were contacted about an undercharge for the transfers and asked to send additional payment during our holiday, which was inconvenient and could have been handled more smoothly. Overall, the service felt a little disorganised. I also had an issue with a meal—the prawns I ordered were undercooked and had to be sent back.

The resort is located in a quiet part of the island, not too many resorts and restaurants there. But the resort provides pretty full board of services. The restaurant is open from early morning until the evening, and the menu is large enough to keep us happy for the 4 days we stayed there. As a bonus, the service was always very fast and faultless. The rooms are surprisingly comfy with a/c, proper hot water shower + CR, and solid wood panel flooring. The pool area is well maintained and also wifi is quite fast and works pretty well (by local standards).

There was no laundry service available Not much space (wardrobes etc) to hang your clothes in the room, have to pretty much keep them in the suitcase / backpack

To say that this place is wonderful is an understatement. The aesthetics you'll see in Aquamare is so nice, you might not even have to edit your photos afterwards. Clean, well-maintained, organized. This is where aesthetics, functionality, and hospitality meets. From their front desk staff, to their restaurant attendants, down to their housekeeping and maintenance staff, everyone was so nice and friendly. They even catered to my partner's request for a surprise dinner setup by the beach and they did it so beautifully. And their food? Top-tier. Poeple who aren't even checked in the property visits the place just to eat at their restaurant. That's how good their food is. This place is amazing.

Customer service is superb (no wonder the reviews are pretty awesome!) Food was generally great! The beach is relaxing and photogenic. And the place in general is peaceful, calming, and overall wonderful!

Just 2 minor feedback. 1. For the food, everything we ordered was on point (and we mostly ate inhouse during our 3-day, 2 nights stay) but the Ceasar salad could be improved (flavor and quantiy of dressing and quantity of parmesan cheese). 2. Not sure if it's the intentional design of the dome rooms but it would be great if the comfort room/bathroom is not open (has a ceiling) so that what do you in the bathrooms, stays in the bathroom. Other than that, the place was perfect!

Lovely resort right on the waters edge. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly - could not fault them. Domes and glamp houses had plenty of room, nice cool air conditioning and very comfortable. The pools were great. Friday night live music was a fun bonus too.

One night there was a lot of rain and the glamp house leaked. Not a huge issue though. Its location is quite isolated but this was not a problem for us. Aquamare organised moped, tuk tuk hire and transfers for us - all very efficient.

We loved the sunset, the morning swim in the sea, the staff were very lovely and the restaurant food was delicious….especially the sizzling bagus. We stayed in a hut and the bed linen and towels were of great quality and everything was spotlessly clean. We went snorkelling nearby and it was the best experience, need to start early to get the best view of the coral.

The resort trikes we’re pricier than outside.

The dome where I stayed was well-appointed and the bathroom was clean, spacious, and kept dry. Everything worked -- the cable TV signal was good, wifi was fast, the AC was cool. They also have generators so guests are barely inconvenienced when there's a power outage (which happens daily on the island, according to my trike driver). The view of the beach at sunset was great. There's also a pool in the middle of the domes, which is great if you're with kids.

My only issue (quite minor) was, insects would fly around your food almost as soon as it's served. It probably couldn't be helped, and the staff was apologetic about it. Maybe setting up electric fans and those anti-insect lights would help. I'd like to say, though, that despite this, I still had a very enjoyable stay!

We had a wonderful stay. The place was cozy, clean, well maintained and it's giving like a out of the country staycation vibe. The staff are approachable and very accommodating. The food was scrumptious and not so expensive like other resto we tried that so expensive(foreign-price)and with live acoustic band to enjoy, the beach was calm and breezy. I will surely be back again and reco this to my friends.

Clean, well-maintained, good food and staff

What a great place. I booked it since I haven't done the "glamping" thing and it was an absolute treat. The room is clean and spacious and the entire place is just wonderful. My dome had good wifi signal (for a laptop) and it worked nicely. The staff are so super friendly and hospitable. I'd love to visit again.

Nothing. It was great. If I HAVE to say something it would be location - not close to San Juan but I preferred that since it was less busy and closer to the Larena pier for the ferry.

The place is peaceful, away from the crowd. You will really be able to rest and be comfortable. They have back up generators, very useful for this rotational power outage going on in the island. Internet is stable inside the unit we got.

Being away from everything have it's downside. No nearby laundry, no massage services, no convenience store nearby. The resort provided toiletries so it's all good. Internet can also be spotty in some areas of the resort.
