Great location ,Quite, good value,clean room.friendly helpfull staff. Jelly Resort is not really a "resort"with all the amenities you would expect from a "resort"but that is just a little naming issue. Jelly is a very nice.well run hotel/homestay.wich is located on one side of Salagdoon beach .witch is gated and and styled as a public beach resort. Wich gets very busy during the day with local family groups ect. but at night they all leave and you are left to enjoy this buetifull spot on your own .same with the morning . good safe snorkeling right on your doorstep. Great friendly staff willing to assist you with any requests. I will definitely be back .

What a beautiful place, we loved and enjoyed it so much! Perfect to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. The beach is so clean and the water cristallclear. The snorkeling equipment and kayak is free for the hotelguests. We had a comfortable room with a incredible view ☺️ We watched the sunrise every morning. The staff was amazing **** and so caring, really a familylike atmosphere 😊! Everybody made sure we had the best time there. Thank you Win for all the good tipps for daytrips and helping us organize it☺️ Also the food and the shakes are delicious and fresh 👍🏼 We can really recommend this place with all our heart and hope we can come back soon 🥰

Location is directly on Salagdoong Beach, which is a public beach where people go to for Cliff Jumping. The beach is only accessible from the public from 8am to 5pm, so outside these hours you have the whole beach area by yourself (or guests from this resort) as it is the only resort in this beach. Snorkeling gears and Kayak are provided from the resort. They have their own restaurant with food servings good for sharing. There is also a public cafe/restaurant nearby (open from 9am to 4pm) that serves good food and coffee (espresso/capuccino). The Staff from the resort are nice and helpful. Sunset here is also really lovely!

It is around 40 minutes away from San Juan where the backpacker area is. But you can always rent a scooter, car or a tuktuk with driver to roam around the area.

This place is a gem. My advice is book it and don't think twice about it. It is not a resort but rather a comfortable family bed and breakfast with views of the sunrise and sunset. Occasionally you can swim with turtles here. The people are the loveliest.  Truly this is what makes the place to special. Thr comfortable loungers with the ocean view are great. They have ac and comfortable temperature showers as well as wifi. Power does go out occasionally but you are on an island. If you don't like that then travel to gems like siquijor.  I would recommend getting motorbike before getting here straight from the port. Its about 45 to 50 min drive on a bike and this way you are flexible.  Food is good and brekkie is included. Alcohol is beer and non alc is sodas and water. You can use the kayak for free if you're a guest there and I'd recommend doing a sunset paddle. Book it for the place and stay for the people.  Get to know them. I ended up extending my stay.  You will not be disappointed.  If you like crowds go to san juan. If you want a little piece of heaven on earth stay here. And tip them they work so hard!!! Our last-minute stay at Jelly Sea turned out to be the best decision we made all trip. The resort is nestled at the end of the salagdoong forest and opens onto probably the most beautiful beach on siquijor. The evenings are particularly peaceful as only resort guests are allowed on the grounds past 5pm. Crystal clear water, amazing views, and great snorkelling all around the resort and onto the neighbouring marine sanctuary right nearby. You can use the snorkels and kayaks free as part of your stay. The setting was spectacular, but what really made our stay special was all the staff at Jelly Sea. They go above and beyond to make your stay welcoming and will make you feel like part of the family once you get to know them. Thank you, Daisy, Win, Cristine, JeJe, and all the others that made our stay.

The location is amazing if you're looking for some peace and some days at the beach. It's far away from San Juan (far away from Restaurants and partylife), but you can get there with a motorbike. The Resort can book a motorbike for you for 500 pesos per day. Personal was very very friendly and the views from the bedroom are amazing. You can use snorkel equipment and kayak for free there. They also have a restaurant and they cook very good. No doubt we will be back!

The only 'but' for me is that it takes a bit long to get to San Juan area (around 1h - but we already knew before) and that the shower and the toilet were next to each other (so the toilet was completely wet after showering).

I am from Canada, 6 years in the Philippines with my wife her daughter my wife's sister and her daughter. I read the reviews and they were all good so I decided to stay, out of all the resorts in boracay, bantayan, and the many other ones I have stayed in this was by far the best one yet, the staff goes out of their way to make uou comfortable and are extremely attentive to the guests needs, not somthing I am always used to in the Philippines. I will definitely be going back, I will be bringing some of my family from Canada.

Location was exceptional. The place is already inside salagdoong beach. In the morning we have the place all to ourselves. The swimming area is nice. There’s a lot of fish. The people in the resort are very friendly, accomodating and helpful. The kayaks and other swimming equipments are free for guests which is a plus. We had fun kayaking and swimming. :)

There were 2 mornings from our stay when they didn’t have water. Not sure how they can prevent this, but hopefully they can find a workaround on this. Food options are limited, but it tasted great.

What a find!! It’s absolutely lovely, room was very comfortable and the family that run it are just wonderful. It is very remote so if you are wanting a place to just stop and relax then this is it. It’s on its own private beach which the tours visit in the afternoon so it does get busier but the morning you have it to yourself and it’s beautiful! Look out for the turtles!!

Couldn’t really fault it tbh, yes there are power cuts but not for long - that’s island life!
