It was a nice serene space. I think there are only 7 rooms in the entire property so we barely got to see the other guests. It's a nice spot in the mountains. However, you'd need to rent a motorcycle or car to be able to get around. It's an off road drive but nothing difficult. Staff were superb especially, Bong. He went above and beyond to help us with our requests

Not sure how often the pool was cleaned but it felt like not much. The 4-5 dogs around the property would wander around and leave poop. They also chewed on our shoes. Ran of out of water in the middle of my shower at night. The bathroom smelled like sewer -- seems like the plumbing was not routed properly.

The staff here truly goes above and beyond. I wrecked my bike on the road out front and they dressed the wound with me every day and made sure all of my needs were met. Can't really ask for more, 11/10 personnel. Whether it is the onsite folks or Bong, you feel taken of care of at all times. They don't hesitate to help with any request. Location is fine with a scooter (which they provide at a fee), and a welcome escape. Facilities are high quality and property is well maintained.

There is zero shower pressure. It's essentially a trickle. At this price point and given what they advertise overall, this is unacceptable. Short road to the property from the road is deceptively difficult, be careful.

We stayed in the attic room and it was perfect. Overlooking the pool and garden and was so spacious - bigger and better than we expected. The host was so friendly and helpful. The area was so peaceful and only 10 mins bike drive away from San Juan - perfect for us as we would prefer to be away from the busy area. I left my airpods behind and the host has been so helpful and a lovely couple from the UK is bringing them back to the UK for me. Thoroughly appreciated their help!

We pretty much liked everything! The only thing we would change is that we would stay for longer - the time we had their just wasn't enough to explore the area and enjoy the beautiful accommodation!

The staff was very nice, helpful and flexible. The resort itself is truly beautiful and very well taken care of. The room and pool were very clean. I was working remotely form the resort and it was just perfect - the wifi worked perfectly and the staff even brought me working table to make sure I am comfortable. As stated - it is not within walking distance to any shop or restaurant, however the scooter rental is possible and it is very easy to drive around.

Just to be aware - the owner family has few dogs who are freely moving around the resort. However the dogs are really nice, they do not bark, beg or disturb in any way :).

The Garden Bungalows Resort is a nice calm haven located a five minute scooter ride from Siquijor town. We loved the clean box spring beds with white sheets. We are travelling with three people and it is relatively hard to find an affordable accomodation with three seperate beds. The relaxed atmosphere and lack of road sounds make the place very good for chilling at the pool. Furthermore staff was very attentive, with the free pick up service and provided island map.

The pool wasn't super clean when we arrived, but was cleaned the same day.

Loved the pool and the gardens! Rooms were very clean and spacious. Bong who picks you up from the port was fab, gave us lots of recommendations and a map and was just so helpful the whole time. Also helped us when we lost something on the boat.

It was a decent drive from all the restaurants and bars in San Juan and part of the journey is pretty rocky but we didn’t really mind the 20 min drive it was scenic. Water pressure in the shower was pretty terrible, wanted to wash my hair but couldn’t. There’s a kettle in the room but no complimentary tea or coffee which would have been nice to enjoy on the terrace.

Excellent location for visiting Siquihor. They rent quality motorcycles for reasonable rates so your actually well located for easy access to San Juan but away from all the tourist part of town. Takes 15 minutes on an excellent road to be at the restaurants and beaches. The resort is really quiet at night . Excellent pool that we swam in at night in the rain. High quality beds and linens was so comfortable and really a higher standard. WiFi was rock solid and fast in the room and everywhere on the premises. A fantastic stay on a really unique island. Probably one of our best stays in 2 months in the Philippines.

Very peaceful place! Bong, who picked us up from the port, was super welcoming and helpful with everything. The location was great for our purpose and we very much enjoyed our time on the island! There are many dogs around on the property, it is very green and it was clean! The American breakfast was yummy and it was relaxing to eat in the Gazebo. Also a great plus: the fresh drinking water one could take from the dispenser at the bar.

The water pressure was very low and there was no fresh fruit for breakfast.

We liked it so much that we extended our stay. The room was spacious with a super comfy bed and a convenient fridge—perfect for long-term stays. Appreciated the free port pick-up and insightful recommendations for exploring Siquijor including the map. The staff is exceptionally friendly and professional. The pool and well-maintained flower-filled garden are delightful. We wanted to stay even longer, but it was fully booked.

Consider the location—it's a bit distant from San Juan and its restaurants and attractions. While renting a scooter is an option, driving 15 minutes each way for meals or a massage can be tiresome. On the upside, it's exceptionally quiet at night, free from rooster or car noises :) There was a noticeable bathroom odor from the pipes, but despite that, the place was clean and underwent daily cleaning.

The bungalow was perfect, it was surprisingly big, very clean, the air con worked great, and there was a safe and a fridge. The pool was lovely, it was so nice to swim in at night. The best part was the owners, who took care of us when we had several mishaps during our stay! They were so helpful and accommodating, and checked in on us throughout the rest of our time to make sure we were all good. Seriously, can't thank Jenney and Bong enough!!

The only negative is the short stretch of road that's very bumpy and a bit scary in a trike or on a bike.
