The place itself is REALLY nice! It's close to the beach, so you can easily hang out with your friends when you want a break from the island tour. It's also peaceful, and we had our own bathroom. Towels were provided for all 9 of us. The aircon works well, though it wasn't that cold at first, probably because of the heat outside, but it got cooler in the evening. We were a bit worried about a brownout since we were working remotely, but thankfully there wasn't one during our stay. The internet is pretty decent, too. The hot shower and the TV both work well. The TV has Netflix, YouTube, and WiFi ready. The owners are very welcoming... they even let us check in early since we arrived ahead of schedule. They allow early check-in as long as the room is already available. The signal is good for Smart and Talk 'N Text, but not so great for Globe users.

It's 15-20 minutes away from San Juan, where most of the cafes and parties are, but we enjoyed the motorcycle ride anyway, so no big deal. You should ride a motorcycle if you really want to experience island life. It's also very close to Tagbilaran Port, which is actually better than being near San Juan since we would've had a hard time with our luggage. Plus, it's near Alberto's, Jollibee, and many other cafes.

The location was great for us. In between the beach and Siquijor centre. You need a motorcycle which you can rent through the owner of Oceanview. The owners are very friendly.

Renting the motorcycle was a bit tricky. She called someone but couldn’t reach them, therefor we almost had to walk through the heat. Eventually it worked out. Also the check in was a bit messy. We were there before 2, so knew we couldn’t check in. She recommended a place for lunch which we did. When we arrived back around 2:45pm she told us the room wasn’t ready yet which we didn’t understood. You knew that we were around, make sense to finish cleaning that room first. A little bit later we could enter, but there were still hairs on the floor of someone else. That was a bit disappointing. The beach that’s there isn’t for swimming.

Our experience at D's Ocean View was outstanding! The property is stunning, with a beautifully maintained garden and a breathtaking private beach right in the backyard. We stayed with our 2 small kids, and they had a fantastic time on the beach. The elderly couple managing the place were incredibly nice and friendly, making our stay very pleasant. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Our stay was wonderful, and we highly recommend DS Ocean View!

The Wi-Fi signal doesn't reach the entire area, so if you need a strong connection, i recommend choosing a room closer to the access point. Also there were some short power outages, known as brownouts, which I was aware of.

Easy 7 min drive from Siquijor Pier. Right by the beach. Beautiful view in the morning. Welcomed by a very nice older lady. Airconditioning works very well. Shower worked great. Very good value for money. Pro tip: Woodfire pizza place 7 min walk from there. Look on Google.

Bed was a bit hard. An extra blanket perhaps, because the aircon is quite cold, even on the lowest setting.

The beach in front of the property is nice. The owners are really nice too. Signal of mobile data is a bit weak but understandable. The rooms are nice and clean. Some people tend to hate the place since there're lot of rules that needs to be followed, but if you follow them there won't be any problems. Overall our stay here is 10/10 will definitely come back again in the future.

This was the best place we stayed during our whole month in the Philippines! Linda and her husband were super welcoming, friendly and helpful to us during our stay. The accommodation is right on a quiet beach with crystal blue water. Location is slightly out from Siquijor town centre but only 5 mins by scooter. Lovely, tranquil place to stay.

The grounds were very well maintained. There are many flowers and tropical plants and trees. They're right on the beach for lovely sunrise and sunset views. And beachcombing at low tide.

My mobility is a bit compromised, so the motor scooters available were not an option. So access to refreshments, meals, and groceries was a bit of a hassle, but there are the tuk tuks available through the day for the 3 km ride into Siquijor.

Beachfront and near to siquijor port. Rotating brownout is common in the area but the resort has generator with limited electrical access. Location is few minutes away from highway. The hosts are very accommodating. The room is clean. The wifi is good.

The signage along the national road was not visible enough. No signage also in the resort main gate so it was hard for us to locate. Limited toiletries for guests(only a bar soap and a roll of tissue were given to us 3pax)

Room was very spacious with a very comfortable bed. Good water pressure in the shower with hot water. We were able to rent a bike from the accommodation, good location for us. Everything in Siquijor is pretty spread out anyway. Staff were welcoming and helpful. WiFi in the room was good. Benches to look out on to the beach.

There was hot water but it was hard to regulate. Either boiling hot or cold not much middle.

Due to the inclement weather, we arrived late at the resort. The owner was motherly and warmly welcomed us. She was also kind in suggesting where to have dinner and made arrangements for our transportation. In the morning, she gave us tips which places to visit first. As for the room, we love it; budget-friendly, enough sockets and has a hot and cold shower. The air condition is functioning very well too. Overall, our stay in this resort was definitely very satisfactory. I hope their restaurant is open the next time we visit.

When making arrangements for motorbike rental, I hope this will be checked and secured to avoid any untoward incidents or delays in the itinerary. However, this was not the owner's fault but only a recommendation from a friend.
