The staff at reception are very friendly and helpful, very grateful for their assistance. The location is very convenient - far enough away from the bustling center and yet you can walk anywhere in 5 minutes. Comfortable desktop for your computer. The bed is comfortable.

I couldn't eat breakfast:) It's impossible to call it breakfast. I don't know why, but not once in 5 days did housekeeping come to me, nor did they take out the trash. It's pretty weird. The air conditioner is very ancient and incredibly noisy. But it cools fine:)

I really like this place—it’s a great value for money. The location is perfect, the staff is nice, and the place is clean. The beds are comfortable, and the WiFi is very good.

There are two things to keep in mind: First, if your room faces the street, it can be very loud. If you’re a light sleeper, ask for a room away from the street. Second, the breakfast could be improved—there aren’t many options, and the only healthy choice is bananas.

The Plaza Hotel in Tacloban is great value for your money. A very nice room and hotel at a very good price. Great hot water shower, aircon and wifi that works. We enjoyed our evening waterfront walk and the hotel was close to the stuff we wanted to see. Super clean hotel with friendly staff and a fine free breakfast. It would be pretty hard to beat the great deal that the Plaza offers.

The wifi works fine for email and Facebook etc - but is slow to upload stuff like YouTube. Really not a significant problem for us.

A key central location with easy access to the entire town. The Hotel is quiet and maintains personal privacy very well. It is located away from the hustle and bustle of the busy street. The room was reasonable in size, exceptionally clean, the bed was comfortable. The staff were communicative and eager to help when asked to do so. The fresh water dispenser, hot showers, and air-conditioning were all very welcome! There seem to be intermittent difficulties with the Wifi signal though.

Besides the issues with the Wifi, the quality of the restaurant food could be improved. Portions were small, and quite often things which were displayed on the menu weren't available.

Ideally situated in downtown Directly opposite a great Andocks Great coffee shop with a satisfying breakfast

There was nothing wrong with the hotel or the staff I thoroughly recommend it

No fridge, no microwave, no bath shower mat my husband nearly slipped dangerous, no toaster, no milk or free water in the room plus the bed is single for a couple we need to sleep separate bed

We left early in the morning before breakfast and received sandwich and drink to take with us, which we think was very thaughtful and kind.

It was not clear at booking that the room doesn't have a window. Minor issue though.

I like the location...very accessible to everything in the downtown area. Transpo is right in front, walking distance to the malls I felt very comfy in a twin room, with no single room available for my chosen travel dates. Thus, it became pretty pricey for me. The staff and personnel were polite and courteous. Breakfast is okay but maybe my expectation was too much. The coffee lounge was perfect for your paper works while having coffee.

the complimentary coffee and tea were very limited for a twin room accommodation.

I've stayed at the plaza many times. Staff always smiling and very helpful. Anything wrong and it's fixed in 5min.

I loved how friendly and kind and welcoming the staff where and how hard they worked and so polite very accommodating as because of manila airport I missed my flight and they still allowed me to check in late evening. The food in the restaurant was fantastic and I love rice and can't cook it to save my life the rice here was perfect and so cheap compared to England where I am from and I would highly recommend them to anyone
