Marnin's Place was a delight and pleasure to stay in. As soon as we arrived at the accommodation the hostess welcomed us with a smile and explained the facilities and amenities at the place. She showed us our room (we chose a double bed room with en-suite), the room was clean and tidy with swan towels laid out for us. A great thing about this place is that you can buy beers, ramen, snacks and soft drinks and even coffee, milk and juices from the hostess and have a tab for your stay. They also do breakfast and other delicious Filipino food and milkshakes made fresh. The location is ideal if you want to be able to enjoy the white sand beach and clear sea quietly away from the crowd, get to know the locals and also see Crocodile Island and Magic island right outside of your doorstep. You can buy fresh young coconuts from the guys next door and also take a local bus to get you to Station beach where a lot of the nightlife is and be able to come back home to a quieter side of the beach. It is close to the port where you will be arriving in Boracay and also there are plenty of shops up the road from the accommodation. My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at Marnin's Place and even extended our stay for 2 more nights on top of our 4 days stay there! I can't recommend this place enough to be able to get the best of both worlds!! The hostess also asked us if we would like our rooms cleaned every 2nd day and that it would be no problem to clean the room and change the sheets. She was an angel and helped us a lot with our stay in Boracay!!

Beach front and beach view 100%. One can hear the beach waves at night while sleeping. Staff were helpful and easy to approach. There are lots of small stores nearby where to buy fresh fish, and vegetables to cook, snacks, and drinks. There is a bakery too. One can also buy pork meat but we were told, they only sell on Sundays. Far from the touristy spots so not crowded.

We rented the room with a kitchen thinking that we can use the kitchen without a surcharge. We were not told that we had to rent the pots and pans for 700 pesos per day use until we got there. But they deducted 2 days worth of kitchen rent. The bed mattresses were old and worn out. There is also a 300 pesos rent if using the grill. Far from white beach but can easily get there by E-trike.

We went as a family of 5 and you can’t get a better hotel next to the beach! You wake up in the morning, open the door and the beach is right there. The beach is very clean and quiet with less tourists (atleast when we were there) compared to the more popular white beach. The area isn’t full of tourist shops and restaurants, so you really have a chance to eat from locals for a smaller price. The food at Marnin’s was very good, the cook makes delicious breakfast and also made us an amazing dinner, which we had to preorder. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Mevelyn the receptionist, she is very attentive and will help you with all your needs! If you want to go to white beach, where all the action is then you can take a tuctuc or a bike and you will get there in around 5-10mins. Overall we had everything we wanted there and were very happy with our stay!

We had a kitchen but to use pans and pots you have to pay extra. It isn’t such a big issue since we only planned to cook once. Plates and cutlery were in the kitch so atleast we could use those. We shared a room for 5 but there isn’t any space to store your luggage and things like a closet or shelf.

We had a great time staying here; it was very quiet, clean and comfortable. The Aircon worked fine, there was hot water in the shower when needed, and the staff was extremely helpful with everything. WiFi works fine as well! You could eat breakfast there, which was very tasty, and preorder dinner, which was nice considering the there aren’t that many restaurants around. They collected us from the port for 200, which was pleasant on an E tricycle! There is a stop just a few meters away for the hop on hop off bus, so transport to other parts of the island isn’t a problem!

Our only problem was that the room was advertised with a sea view as well as a balcony. The balcony part is simply untrue, as the room opens out to the reception area. From there you can indeed see the ocean, but that’s not really what a sea view means.. They have a lovely terrace directly looking onto the beach, though, which was lovely! Everything was quiet and peaceful, and we enjoyed our time a lot there. Just be a bit more honest with how you advertise your rooms to make it a five star experience

QUIET LOCATION. In a few years though, it will most likely not be far from the congested situation along White Beach. ACCESSIBLE. The Hop-On, Hop-Off (Ho-HO) transport option is available every 15min to and from Tambisaan. After 7pm, the Ho-Ho at 20-25minutes intervals. BEACH FRONT. The beach (sand is not as fine as in Station 1, nonetheless the sand is white in color) is right in front of the property. Good for swimming and snorkeling. LOCAL VIBE. Local life can still be observed (children playing along the beach, locals taking a stroll, fisherfolks day-to-day activities still happening, simple homecooked Filipino food is available in nearby carinderias) INTERNET. Reliable internet signal. BALCONY. All rooms have seating areas right outside its respective front doors. LINEN. Clean linens and high thread count. TOWELS. Big towels. BED. Thick mattresses (4 inches). Two pillows provided for each guest. Throw pillows are also available. WATER PRESSURE. Shower water pressure is adequate. Hot and cold shower - available. AIR CONDITIONER. Working well and has a quiet mode. WATER DISPENSER. Free hot and cold drinking water.

Comforters would be appreciated. Nice to lower the temperature and snuggle in bed. There being no comforters, just increase the A/C temperature to the level that suits one's preference.

The place is at Tambisaan Beach where the minor jetty port is located (used when the waves are big on the other side of the island. It can be easily accessed by foot and at the beach is right in front so the seaview is available for some of the rooms (of which we have stayed in). The place is large and clean, and the facilities comprise of rooms good for groups and families, grilling area, rest area, common area, dining area, karaoke, outdoor handwashing and shower area, balcony, terrace, clothes racks. The room we stayed in has its own toilet and bath, toiletries, towels. There's also the mini ref, TV with Netflix, and Wifi. Airconditioning unit is available. They offer menu for breakfast combo and pre-ordered food (beef, chicken, pork, seafood, soup) good for 5-6pax. They sell snacks and drinks, and other small items can be brought on the stores around the area. The place is comfortable, relaxing, and feels like a private beach resort. The beach where it is located is does not have the same sand quality as the one seen in Stations 1,2,3, and Puka Beach, however, you'll be able to see more islands, lush vegetations, and witness more marine life just around the shore.

Since it was in a residential area, there are lack of restaurants and cafe around the place. On the plus side, there are lots of sari sari stores, ihaw, and karinderya which is more budget friendly. The transportation is also a bit difficult, however, the property can call in a tricycle upon request and if you like a little bit of adventure, then, motorcycles are also available as means of transport.

Tambisaan beach is small, peaceful and beautiful beach. When you stay at Marnin's place, you'll hear the sound of the sea, when you step out of your room, you'll see the sands and the sea. Tambisaan beach is 15 minutes far from the main turistical beach by ride. There is always ride taxi on the main road, so no worry about this. The stuff is super nice, helpful. There is always drinkable water available. If you need anything like coffee, noodle, cips or proper meal you can buy there. The view is amazing.

The internet is big problem everywhere in Boracay And here too, but I did 2 meetings there and I was able to do it.

The staff are very nice. Maybelyn and Maricel were excellent as they helped us with our needs. Also, the room is very cozy and WIFI was good.

None, everything was perfect!

- Secluded spot away from all the touristy areas on the island - Friendly and approachable staff who were very accommodating and flexible especially with our requests - on top of that my family and I made a lot of memories full of laughter with them - E-trike that is available most of the time to take you into town for a fee - Beautiful view from the balcony looking out to the beach - Karaoke hire for the day until 10pm which was a good combination with a bbq that the staff assisted in preparing - Laundry service for a fee depending on the weight
