Beautiful, clean unique property. Loved the scenic,quiet location in a rural setting. Victor was very helpful in recommending dinner locations. Lovely breakfast provided. I would highly recommend this property to my family and friends.

The Wi-Fi was weak in our room but frankly, I would not come here to cruise the internet!

The place is. Beautiful, and a great location close to Viseu and 1:30hr from porto... Receptionist was very good and new alot about the area.... Pool was fantastic to come back to after a hot day out... The wine is also very good.

There was not alot I didn't like... Maybe just a bit more service to the customer. Such as acsess to drinks etc when by the pool and a small tea coffee service in the room....

The property is a lovely estate a few kms out if Viseu that comprises a hotel, winery, tasting room and restaurant. The hotel is stunning; built of impressive granite and beautifully furnished. The decor is simple and elegant. The bed was extremely comfortable. Our bathroom had a spa tub that procided some nice relaxation after a day of driving. Our stay included a delicious and ample continental breakfast with fresh fruit and pastries, local breads, ham and cheeses, cereals, coffee, tea, juice and yogurt. We also were served freshly prepared bacon and eggs. We dined one evening at the restaurant and found the food to be excellent. There is a regular menu, as well as a 6-course prix fixe menu and also vegetarian and childrens menus. Everything we ate was well prepared and beatifulky presented.

The temperature of the bath/shower water could be a little hotter.

the outside area was beautiful, the farm and the pool area. we loved that part!

unfortunately we got a room that wasn’t very comfortable. It was noisy and small. we noticed that it wasn’t perfectly clean and the AC didn’t work. also it was really disappointing that the checkout time was at 11am which I personally never experienced. we asked if after leaving the room at the checkout time we could at stay at the pool but that wasn’t an option. a pity because this hotel had so much to give.

This hotel has lovely views and modern clean rooms. On arrival we had a beer on the patio and were greeted by Jonathon and his mate. The staff were very helpful and we had an excellent meal. Breakfast was very good all in all a very good stay.

Victor at front desk is great and very helpful. Breakfast is excellent.

The wine that they are selling is way too old. It looks like they are stuck with their bottles. Just avoid those old bottles.

The location was terrific - very convenient to Viseu but with an away-from-it-all feel. Fairly convenient to Vouzela as well. Breakfast was very good. A small thing but the sliced tomatoes were quite nice. The staff were very helpful and did well with our very limited Portuguese and their rather good English.

We like a firm mattress, and this mattress was a softer style.

Breakfast was exceptional. Restaurant was closed but staff provided utensils and crockery to enable self preparation of meal. Loved the location.

I could have booked for longer!

Wonderful peaceful location. Close to Viseu and accessible to wide range of unspoilt countryside. Attractive converted farm buildings. Brilliant pool. Excellent breakfasts. Very helpful staff.

Dinner menu OK for 3 days. Cobbled pathways a bit of a challenge for us oldies.

The Hotel exceeded my expectations; a wonderful place to stay and enjoy the countryside. It is a short drive from Viseu. I had dinner at the Hotel to taste their wines, which was amazing.
