Having stopped here before I had no qualms about booking a one night stop with my wife. On arrival, having driven from Marvao, we realised her bag (credit cards, passport etc) had been left at a service area on the A23. We booked in and explained the situation to the reception staff. They were most helpful in phoning the service area and getting them to look for the bag, then once found getting the details for us of where to go and who to ask for. This would have been extremely difficult for us to have achieved. The Staff were fantastic.

This hotel is really well located, a little dated but clean and well cared for. I was prepared for the noise of construction across the street so that didn't bother me. The breakfast was simple lovely (bread, fruit, ham, yogurt, granola, cereal) along with a nice coffee machine and juice. The front desk staff was really sweet and helpful.

The parking lot was quite difficult to park in, but it wasn't full while I was there so with the help of my family I was able to get in and out with no damage to our rental car. I really appreciated having a safe and free place to put the car since street parking is pretty difficult to find in the area.

Staff behavior and their flexibility to do early checking

Quality of the indoor decoration in the room. The window, curtain, doors, look a bit old. But dont take it as bad, it can improve.

Great location in quiet area but easy walk to centre and close to a beautiful park. Great value including breakfast and having all the TV channels was great. The air conditioning was essential in this hot weather and helped contribute to a good sleep. I would book here again.

It's not the practice in Spain and Portugal, I have found, but a kettle and hospitality tray is the norm in most of europe and this would have tipped this hotel into 'excellent'.

My first time in Viseu, and this was a good introduction. A c9mfortable hotel, warm and comfy lobby, friendly, professional staff, in a central part of the city.

Good value for the money. Good for Motard or bikers group with free garage. Good location. 3 minutes walking to the Very Center. Breakfast could be better. Overall, very good.

I was happy with everything. It was perfect for me. It's not a luxurious five-star hotel, but it was very pleasant, clean, and comfortable. The location is great. I don't need or want luxurious grandeur. I always look for nice places like this one.

I have nothing to complain about. I liked the place. When I return to Viseu, I'll book a room there again.

Recommend softer warm colour light bulbs. The cold bright white light bulbs are unpleasant. Warm (quente) color light bulbs do not cost more to buy. A very strong sewer smell in the banho--I closed both the banho and hallway doors.
