The outdoor pool is a great size, fully fenced, and very pretty – a real bonus for cooling off in the 100+ degree heat we experienced. Our room perfectly met our family of four's needs, offering plenty of space, and the air conditioning worked exceptionally well to keep us comfortable. The staff were consistently patient, helpful, and friendly, which always makes a big difference. We were particularly impressed with the breakfast; it offered delicious waffles and other options, and was well-stocked even right before the end of breakfast hours. We also found a couple of great restaurants nearby for other meals.

While the location isn't right on the doorstep of Petrified Forest National Park, it's as close as you can get, so it worked out well for our visits. A few minor points: when we arrived, parking on our side of the building was full, and there was a slight smell in the room (and a strong marijuana smell in the parking lot). Due to the economical pricing, there was a diverse mix of guests, and some behaved a little roughly.

This hotel was right off the highway. I was a little concerned about traffic, but it was very quiet and peaceful. It was right next to a great little Mexican restaurant, so I could walk to dinner. The bed was quite comfortable. Breakfast was the usual fair, but did have some hot offerings. The staff was very friendly and receptive.

Room was a bit outdated but clean and roomy. No elevator, but only two floors. This may be a concern for some. Room did not have good window coverings - room was not visible to outside people but did not cover for outside lights fully.

Room was very quiet during our stay, midweek. Breakfast was as expected for hotel breakfast. Very clean and nicely laid out. Kept well stocked. Exceptionally friendly staff at checkin and breakfast. For overnight travel, our stay was perfect! New cosmetic improvements to building and rooms was apparently under way, making everything fresh and bright.

Exterior stairs need new treads, which will probably be addressed soon. Exterior lighting was adequate, but with very full car, we did move to park in front of building with a bit more lights and cameras. Could use more outlets for charging, and surface space to hold suitcases.

Price was great and access to nearby Petrified Forest was also great. The breakfast was good and the restaurant next door (Bienvenidos) was convenient and tasty for dinner! Pool was a fun area, staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the room was nice! We were pleasantly surprised. Recommend for a couple nights in Holbrook.

Dust above shower, some visibly broken faucets, my wife fixed the drain plug in the sink, but just needed a little more of a deep clean and touch up paint.

Perfect hotel for visiting Petrified Forest National Park. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

The hotel itself was good, but we didn't have such a good experience with the restaurant nearby. The Caesar salad didn't taste fresh and we got stomach problems the day after. Moreover, we found the prices in the restaurant to be way too high for what you get.

Breakfast was very good with several hot options, like waffles. Bananas were perfect so I had a toasted English muffin topped with peanut butter and sliced banana. There was good coffee with half n half or flavored cream. Our room's heater/ac unit had a setting where the fan would run all night with neither heat nor AC. That was perfect for us.

Room was large, clean, bed comfy, Breakfast: Liked the pancakes for a change from waffles. Good coffee, juice, bagel, Please soften the butter!

Shower was weak pressure, low volume (get rid of the water-savers please). Breakfast: eggs are always not quite tasty, sausage average... otherwise good choices.

Location

Was told, as we checked-in, that a bottom (main floor) room was reserved but it was not cleaned. We were reassigned a room on the second floor. I have physical issues and it was a real challenge to walk/climb the stairs since there was no elevator. This was greatly NOT appreciated!!

I really liked that I could park my car in front of my room, the doors had multiple locks, and the staff were super friendly. The staff made my long road trip much more enjoyable. Plus the breakfast selection was fairly decent!

I wish it felt more cleanly. I noticed a wadded up tissue behind the chair in the room and didn’t love that.

Breakfast was great! Staff very nice and helpful. We liked the oversized fridge, which was bigger than any others we have experienced in even more expensive motels.. Even though this is an older facility, it is kept in good order and the bed was surprisingly very comfortable. We would stay here again if we ever come back this way!
