The lobby has an old world charm with a beautiful wooden staircase and a fireplace. It’s right next to Walmart and quite a few restaurant choices, which is handy. Somebody had a birdfeeder in the courtyard tree, and it was a delight to listen to the birds feasting every morning, and I love that I could open the window for some fresh air. Lots of parking available so that was an easy walk to the door. Easy access to the freeway. Hot breakfast with sausage and eggs and the fun waffle maker that you rotate. I love the old-school radiator type heating and air conditioning units that are on the wall where you can crank up the heat when you’re cold. It’s fun to see barbecues out of the courtyard for summer days. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I appreciated having a mini fridge and a microwave too.

It looks like they have been doing some renovations and are working to improve things aesthetically. Some of the finish work is a little rough and it looks like the ceilings and walls have been repaired in many places, but at a glance, it is suitable, and very budgetary. There were three opening windows, but one of them wouldn’t lock and having an unsecured window on the ground level was less than ideal. Little things like loose towel rack, and loose toilet paper dispenser needed attention. The freeway and train noise might be hard for some people too sleep with, but the sound of the rattling heater kind of drowned that out, so it was fine for me.

Location close to interstate 69; but highway noise was no problem. Variety of restaurants in walking distance. Gas stations and shopping nearby. Walmart is a short walk across a couple of parking lots; but again, no traffic noise. You get the feel of a quaint hotel seen in the movies when you walk in. A table with oversize checkerboard invites guests to sit and soak up the atmosphere. A bookcase (with books) is available if you’d like to sit on one of the screened porches or patio seating and read. There is a good sized outdoor pool. Breakfast had standard hot and cold choices. The staff we met was outstanding! This is where we’ll stay when we’re in the area. What you see on their website is what you see when you get there.

I honestly can’t think of what needs to be changed.

The girl at the front desk was great at check out. The hotel room was very clean. The lobby was beautiful and the patios were nice. We sat outside and it was nice, even though on the highway. The pool was closed, but so nice and they had grills. I always sleep with ear plugs, so no problems for me. The beds are comfortable. It looked liked they repainted and the carpet seemed clean and newer. The ac worked great. The breakfast had gluten free cereal, hard boiled eggs and fresh fruit. The family loved the home made waffles.

The bathroom looked like they put a new shower surround and forgot to regrout and repaint the bathroom. The fan made a weird noise when shutting off. The wonderful woman making breakfast was also checking people in n out, but the hot breakfast was not hot at all.

The room was clean, every item was in good working order. The bathroom was stocked with soap and towels. The manager and staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was always ready. Great location.

Nothing to complain about during our stay will return in the future.

It's was a bit dated but I love that about it. It's was very clean. I loved the screened in porch where I relaxed & read a book. It has a bathtub, I chose this hotel because they had bathtubs. I read complaints on the reviews before I booked about I-69 being too loud but I didn't hear a thing. My stay was nice & relaxing. I definitely would stay again.

The pool was closed

Location was good. Room on second floor overlooking an outdoor area for cooking out. It was landscaped with trees that were in bloom. Charming and unexpected.

My room was clean and comfy. The bathroom looked a bit worn. Tub had a crack. Or hole that was filled with black epoxy. Seems like useing a white white epoxy would have looked better. I saw no glutin free options on the breakfast bar

Location was great for what we were there for. Staff was very friendly. Loved the ambiance. Price was reasonable.

Bed was a little uncomfortable. A/C was not on when we got there and the room was very stuffy and had a slight odor. Breakfast was ok. Waffles are always a great option.

not easy right find, sits between 2 other motels. had to drive through back of one motel to reach this one entering from one direction. handicap rooms are quite a distance from handicap parking. hard to walk to with luggage when handicapped.

We enjoyed our 1 night stay. The breakfast was very nice. The room was clean. A bit dated but it fit in with the ambiance of the lobby and outside screened-in sitting area. That alone of different and very nice.

For some reason the room phone line was dead. When discovered, the staff immediately moved us to another equally nice room.

The breakfast included cereals , breads , bagels, sausage and gravy , biscuits, waffles and juices , coffee, tea . Very clean area , tables are clean , No butter though , there is a spread that is butter like . Also peanut butter and honey is available .
