Staff was very friendly, not only at the reception, but even those who maintained very well the garden, and not to forget the cleaning staff. Sreela and the others did everytime their utmost best to leave you a nice and clean room. At the Ayurvedic Centre we got good advise of the doctor. And Rakhi, the lady who treated me, had magic skilfull strong hands. And at the restaurant there was a young lady of the staff very helpfull, skilfull and attentive.

The swimmingpool was not so clean anymore after the bathing of 15 to 20 people not wearing a bathsuit but remaining completely dressed. It looked like their purpose was not to swim, but to clean themselves altough they had a lot of fun being in a swimmingpool. After this incident we could make use of the private swimmingpool of one of the villas. We have been told the swimmingpool will soon be renewed.

A truly wonderful, near to nature environment, so close to village life and overlooking the lovely lake. The staff were all magnificent and a great to credit to the hotel, all led by Arun the charming and always eager to please General Manager. He was always available and happy to solve every kind of enquiry or problem. The staff make a stay at this property an exceptional experience.

There were numerous power cuts during our stay and at times the noise from the temples across the lake were somewhat intrusive. The distance from the reception to some of the villas was rather excessive, up to 500m. and the paths uneven. Some steps have no handrail.

Breakfast was nice but they were mainly south indian food. may be a more varied option for non indians would be more appriciated.

The property is in a secluded location with no other food options nearby. The restaurant closes around 3pm until dinner. So if you miss lunch, you have to stay hungry until dinner. I think the restaurant should operate during the whole day if not 24 hours or the resort can provide menus for outside places from where one can order.

We stayed for 3 nights and I think if you are looking for a relaxed vacation with kids, you will love this property. Almost every room / villa has a view of the lake. Loved the kitchen service , chef Ashok is brilliant. Every meal was prepared with love. Loved the front desk staff, courteous and always eager to help We were provided a villa (upgraded) much before check in time as we were travelling with a 13 month old. Loved the gesture by GM- prepared a cake for us to cut before check out. The cleaning lady was super efficient, always smiling. everyday our sheets were replaced, floor was mopped. We took the resorts car which was a tad expensive but was super comfortable. Mr Vijay took care of us really well, efficient driver , took us to all the local spots.

There was nothing to dislike. If you have elders, opt for a room, as accessibility could be an issue.

Everything. The beautiful location, the lovely grounds, the bamboo shaded swimming pool, the sunsets and the daily twilight spectacle of hundreds of flying foxes passing overhead to their nocturnal fruit feast. The friendly and efficient staff for whom nothing was too much trouble, chef Ashok's delicious food and the peace, quiet and natural beauty all around. The afternoon spent on the hotel boat watching the local snake boat races.

The location of the property is superb. The property is same as shown in their pics on the websites. This is surrounded by backwater lake which was very clean and wide. The property has a speed boat at a reasonable rate which we enjoyed thoroughly. The nearby Mangroves are the special attraction which we liked the most. The greenery, plantation and cleanliness have been maintained throughout. The swimming pool and kids play areaarei also very good. The food was very delicious and with reasonable rate. The Manager and other staff are exceptionally humble, always smiling and polite. We will surely recommend this property to nature lovers. .

Beautiful natural environment, very well maintained environment. Super nice staff, delicious kitchen, beautiful sunset point, very good play-room, nice walks around, complimentary fishing activities, comfy and spacious rooms (we had villa), very good spa and Ayurveda treatments.

Unfortunately the swimming pool was a bit old already when we came there, but the resort is planning to renew it this or the next year. Be careful while swimming there, you might cut your foot on the broken tiles.

No rules were followed in swimming pool. 22nd Oct 23 people from outside not resident were in the pool without swimming costumes,without shower and created so much noise.

The location is the x- factor. It’s so serene, calm, pretty, green, clean- everything that you desire on a holiday. The complimentary breakfast was awesome. The fluffy idlis, crispy dosas and soft uthapams were amazing. Fresh fruit and fresh juices were good. The staff right from the cheerful security guards, gardening staff, restaurant, housekeeping and front office wore a smile and were helpful and pleasing.

Nothing that didn’t like . It would be lovely to get an English newspaper / magazines.
