Evening activities at the beach. Kite flying is fun. Snacks and Juice are limited but good. Beach is beautiful. Surfing classes at the beach were thrilling and fun. Complimentary family picture. Support Staff is very helpful.

Limited Recliners by the swimming pool. Limited drink options in the sunken bar. More Recliners are needed by the swimming pool especially on long weekends! Game/Activity Centre can be near the Reception Lobby. It is very far from the Reception Lobby. Menu is a bit limited, more food items can be introduced. Food prices are on a higher side. Breakfast area/restaurant felt a bit crowded. Tea/Coffee should be served at the beach during evening activities alongwith juice.

We had a great staycation at Taj Fisherman's Cove. The room and bathroom were clean including the bed linen, towels and the pillows. We had the buffet dinner and breakfast at the Seagull restaurant which was also very good. Mr. Seelan at the Seagull restaurant helped us with our buffet dinner, looked after us well and made sure we had everything we needed. The staff is extremely well trained and welcoming and responded to our needs promptly. My son used the swimming pool and we were satisfied with the cleanliness and upkeep of the pool. The private beach is the highlight of the hotel. I got to witness the most beautiful sunrise ever. I went back home feeling energised and relaxed. It was a memorable stay.

The location was good snd the cottages were spaced out. The beach was very clean The gardens were well maintained

The planting area directly out side the cottages had very shoddy planting, if any. Some colour, as even in leafy green plants, would have been pleasant. The window looking out over the beach was very dirty, as was the outside table. We asked for these to be cleaned This was the only hotel that did not offer a facecloth wipe on arrival A simple touch but would have been well appreciated The pool bar could do with some attention, ie paint. Not an attractive sight Also when there is a conference luncheon or similar which I believe happens frequently, the disturbance drifts over the pool area. Ie megaphone announcements and music. Not relaxing for those wanting to chill out

The staff were kind enough to upgrade our room as we were traveling with a baby. All our special requests regarding baby food were thoughtfully accommodated, both at the restaurants and through in-room dining. The baby stroller provided was also excellent and made things much easier for us. A special mention to Mr. Anbu, Chef John, and the restaurant manager for their attentiveness and warmth. Every member of the waiting staff and front desk team—including the kind staff who checked us in and arranged the room upgrade—were genuinely courteous, making our stay feel truly welcoming.

The bed felt a bit too bouncy as I am a big person . Felt like I was drowning in the bed :)

Location - it’s rare to have beach and sea on one side and a beautiful large garden on the other side at the same place.

They allotted V31 to us first. It’s adjacent to their beach reataurant and smell of asian food coming into our backyard was unbearable and we couldn’t use the villa’s backyard watching the sea. They changed it on our request but they should not have allotted it in the first place. Also, in V31, the intercom wasn’t working so had to walk up to reception to ask for change of villa. Hopefully, they check everything like intercom etc before allotting the villa to guests.

Well laid out, good rooms, nice beach, nice pool, very helpful staff. Mr Murali at the travel desk was very helpful and we recommend getting the sight seeing in Mahabalipuram to be organized via the travel desk

Bot too much to dislike as it is a very good and well maintained property. There can be too many crows in the open/semi-open air restaurants in the daytime. Nothing that tje hotel can do but they try to take food from plates, so it can be annoying. In the sea view suite that we had, there was an issue that the jacuzzi jets in the bathtub turned on on their own at random times. I guesw they will repair that too

Taj Fisherman’s Cove Resort & Spa, Chennai, offered a fantastic experience! The concierge team, especially Murali Raman, excelled in organizing a memorable trip to Mahabalipuram, where the driver shared insights into fishing operations and the guide ensured we had great family photos at iconic spots like the Butter Ball. The resort’s proximity to the sea and beach added charm, and the outdoor seafood restaurant impressed us with both its ambiance and delicious cuisine.

The Taj Fisherman’s Cove Resort & Spa, while charming and well-located, does show some signs of aging in its rooms and facilities. The room size, though slightly smaller than expected, was still comfortable, and a minor issue with the in-room safe was manageable and didn’t impact our stay. While the seafood restaurant was a standout in both ambiance and cuisine, the regular restaurant, Sea Gull, felt a bit less distinctive by comparison.

Liked the ambience, cleanliness, Luxury, Comfort and the staffs who were very friendly. Kaushik and Ram were very friendly and made our day very very special and memorable one. Special thanks to Ram who were with us for the entire stay co ordinating all and friendly also kind too.... He made our day a memorable and enjoyable day. Thank you Ram.... Will definitely like to stay again in Taj fisherman cove resort... Last but not the least , Wah Taj......

No negative to be written

The staff here is excellent. We would like to name the following staff for providing outstanding service with a smile. Seagull restaurant: Saravanan, Anbu, Shiva, Nishaad. Elumalai, Gopi, Restaurant manager Rajneesh, Chef Aatish, Chef Tapan, Chef Ravi Buggy Drivers: Vincent, Dev Reception: Koushik. Reshmi We had booked three rooms (417, 419, 424) My daughter, Son in law and Sambandhis were visiting from the US. They were absolutely overwhelmed by the hospitality, warmth and service provided by the above mentioned women and men. A special Thank you to Rajneesh and Chef Aatish at Seagull restaurant for serving amazing food on all days - with great warmth. Also a special thank you to Dev and Vincent for helping my mobility-challenged wife travel around the property with ease and comfort in the buggy. A big thank you. An overall excellent experience at Fish Co. This is home from home.

The AC control can be improved

Stay was too comfortable, we enjoyed bathtub. Breakfast and dinner we had at same place (seagull) it was amazing 😍. Transport facility from place to place is best. Enjoyed cycle ride. Immediate service assistance - best hospitality.

It's new for me to use washroom without that flush. It would be better if you add it. For taking and leaving the cycle they arrange it in better way - felt bit difficult. Bayview is damn expensive and less quantity. They should definitely work on the price details.
