A Truly Grand Experience at Sheraton Grand Chennai!** From the moment we arrived at Sheraton Grand Chennai, we were welcomed with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. The entire front office team deserves a special mention for their efficiency and cheerful attitude, which made check-in smooth and stress-free. A heartfelt thanks to **Ms. Paromita**, the Rooms Division Manager, for going above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. Her attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction truly stood out. We’d also like to extend our sincere appreciation to **Ms. Mallika** from the front office team. Her courteous nature, proactive assistance, and friendly demeanor made us feel right at home. It’s rare to come across someone who embodies the spirit of hospitality so effortlessly. The rooms were immaculate, spacious, and beautifully maintained — a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. Every interaction with the staff, from housekeeping to concierge, reflected the high standards Sheraton is known for.

The restaurant was large with adequate seating. Although it was very busy (there was a large wedding party in residence that weekend), the staff found us a table very quickly and were very attentive to our needs. Special mention to be made of Chef Somu who personally helped get some food for my elderly fellow travelers. The reception staff were lovely and very helpful… despite being snowed under due to the large number of guests from the wedding party checking in at the same time, they kept their cool, were always smiling and did their job efficiently. Ms Malika Chettri who supervised the reception was especially great and very attentive to our needs besides being extremely pleasant. Our experience at the spa was great too!

Nothing really. It was super busy, but that could not be avoided…

The staff at Sheraton Grand were amazing! They were extremely helpful and senior citizen friendly. The buffer at the "Reef" was spectacular and so was the dinner experience on the beach at the "C Salt". The rooms were beautiful and the bathrooms clean and well-maintained. A decent game room, well run spa and easy access to the beach make this perhaps the best spot for a beach vacation in this area.

The property needs better upkeep, cleaning and maintenance. It's a beautiful property but not as nicely maintained as it probably could be. Some of this could be a function of the guests not being as considerate as they should be. Perhaps they should charge deposits and use those to fix damages caused by guests.

Appreciate the efforts of everyone who made our trip memorable. The premises were clean, the minimalist decor refreshing and staff attentive without being intrusive. Nice to interact with interns as well .Special thanks to Mr Utkarsh, Ms Shraddha, Sharon, Rohit (Reef) and many others who drove us around and guided us. Mr Ravi Sankar and team at Reef - Thanks. We could enjoy the clean beach as well. Please keep it up!

Hmm.. yes terrible smell nuisance in the corridors on the ground level where we stayed. Not sure if we really need carpets there in the sweltering heat of Chennai.

The experience was amazing! The staff at the property went above and beyond to make sure the whole family had fun! The best part, So manyyy activities for the kids! The little ones were super busy playing beach volley ball and even our 1 year old had a play zone all for herself which was the most amazing thing! I would definitely consider Sheraton grand the next time I'm planning a staycation!

The only thing i dint like was i couldn't extend our stay! It was lovely!

The south Indian food in the breakfast buffet was good. The abla carte dinner was very good. The rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel had access to the beach.

1. The pool timing - the pool opens at 8 am which makes it impossible to use because of the heat. They should open the pool at 6 or 7 am. It seems they kept the pool just for the namesake, not for the guests using it. 2. The housekeeping staff did not replenish the towels. On the last day they didn't keep any hand towels. 3. The chef didn't know how to make the eggs. They always overcooked the eggs even after giving specific instructions. 4. The seating arrangement on the beach was limited.

We had a very warm welcome at reception and all the the staff is super friendly and most polite. House keeping staff too were super helpful with extra cleaning we needed in the bathroom after our beach activities. Entire property looks stunning and perfect for instagram kings and queens.

We had a sea facing room and unfortunately there was a corporate event going on in the lawn area near the beach and the volume was pretty high which killed the serene ambiance. Even inside the room it was noisy and using the balcony was almost impossible. Next day morning there was no event and we could sit in the balcony listening to the sound of waves.

The staff were extreely helpful, polite and friendly. Could not fault them. However, they appear to be under pressure from their managers to perform well and as a result ask to an excerssive extent if everything is okay!

The music and noise from events taking place below our room. Resulting in lack of sleep. When we complained, the duty manager did try to have the noise reduced but it was not ideal.

Great hospitality, placement and overall decorations are so great. I asked to get showed around, and it was great, because the place is so big, and it's nice to be showed around by someone who knows the place and where it's good to be during the day. And also to tell you what not to do. I lost my suncreme and the employees were so nice to drive out to the store and buy a new for me. Also they arranged a driver and a guide for me so I could see the temples near by and see the market. Great experienced driver and guide, top class.

So much to do and restaurants are open different times/day. Could be great if there were an overview on the room so it could be planned to visit all within the opening hours. Besides it could be nice to have option of guided tours to the sightseeing around the hotel.
