Great value. Spacious rooms. Beach access. Kokomo shack nice since it is close to beach. Relaxing.

Some mosquitos inside room Tub in room does not have railings. Older people and small kids need to be taken care

First of all, we loved the room facilities. As soon as we entered the hotel entrance, we felt that we had come to an oldest place, but inside property was quite opposite. The food quality and taste were good. They had good selections for breakfast, especially their fresh watermelon & pineapple juices were so good. We also enjoyed the live barbecue at the beach bar at night. The only disappointment was that they didn't have enough pork meat in stock for our order and ran out so quickly. The beach waves were so rough, so we didn't go into the water because they didn't have beach guards and said that it was our own safety. Other than these, we enjoyed their live music with evening complimentary tea with snacks with outdoor lights.

I only didn't like the spa staff came and tried to sell their service while I was waiting to check in. Again, we got a call to our room, not even within an hour after we checked in :(

Breakfast was fabulous - catering to everyone's palate with a wide selection of options from Indian to continental. Best part was the Filter coffee - both served during breakfast and high tea (which is complimentary). The Restaurant also has a decent menu to choose from for lunch and dinner. The room was excellent - in terms of comfort and cleanliness. The Staff were extremely helpful and hospitable which made the stay special, especially Pallavi, Rajat, Suresh, Rajesh and the rest. The property itself is great having great location on the ECR (Coastal Road). Mahabalipuram is about 15 km and Airport 45 Km. Pondicherry is about 2 hrs 15 min away. Right from reception to leaving - the staff were great. They have a shack right on the beach by the name Kimmono which serves food and snacks. Would highly recommend for a weekend getaway. Do note that this is a resort on the ECR and as such eating out may be slightly challenging. If you are planning for sight-seeing in Mahabalipuram - book a cab/tour in advance. The Hotel does have a provision for tour but some may find it on the higher side. Though, we opted for the Hotel/s tour given the weather conditions and time constraints.

I opted for a half board, so I had dinner and breakfast. In both cases , the food was not that great taste part is missing even for south indian dishes. Their dining hall was very small compared to the number of people dining, and it was too loud. No gaming place or board game options. I have stayed at this place a couple of years before, but now i can see the quality decreasing. The ponds are really dirty, and people cleaning had no gloves. I wish the management provided these amenities.

Breakfast - beautiful spread! Since they have multiple dining places for breakfast, there was no crowding. In-Room Dining - A bit on the pricey side, but was good regardless Beach - This! This is why you should pick the property! Staff - Saving the best for the last! Whether it was accommodating us and our friends in neighbouring rooms to being available in an instant for everything. From check-in to check-out, amazing experience throughout!`

Rooms - The design of the room is very well planned buuuut, the only issue is there is a curtain to block the bathroom and the toilet. Though there are doors, there are no latches to the toilet or the shower. Design - Beautiful hotel! But a private balcony would have been really nice!

The best of the staff & a great hospitality with personal touch from staff like Suresh , Ram, Godson, Nisha, Ravi, Ramesh , Alex. Spa staff & the list goes on. Kudos to the entire team . Sea view suites is exceptional. Excellent food & the team is willing to provide what you need even though it is not in the menu. This is one of the best attributes as they never say no which is a rare find these days.

Our stay of 5 nights with our 7 year old at the beach view suite was superb! The suite has all the facilities one needs, including a tub, 2 TVs, study table area for logging into work, a huge living room and balcony and the view of the gardens and beach is gr8! Calming and peaceful. Tx to Delvin, Devaraj and their manager Peter for helping us have clean and supported rooms with our kid for a stress-free vacation. Breakfast - Lavish buffet with good options for healthy and veg food too. Again the melting pot restaurant is calm and peaceful. Staff like Kiran do a fab job of taking ownership and catering to our every little need. The managers and other staff like Vicky, Dharani and srilakshmi are courteous and helpful. We loved our meals here. Club privileges at the lounge between 5-7 pm were also good. The spa is beautiful and we had a lovely experience with Nisha, Vily and Asbin. Swimming pool is naturally warm due to the heavy dose of Mahabalipuram sun and is a beautiful place with temple trees all around! Concierges with Govind, Amit Rai, and the team do a gr8 job! Suresh at welcome is amazing in terms of his energy and very welcoming in his attire, behaviour and communication. Head of reception Souvik and his team are great and speedy in their attendance to guests. They also are super accommodating when it came to our kids requirements and as much as possible will go out of their way to make the stay a fantastic memory for all customers. thanks you all and keep up the great work. we want to meet you all soon. OVERALL EVERY ONE OF THE STAFF ARE COURTEOUS, KID-FRIENDLY, HARDWORKING AND HELPFUL. THIS WAS REALLY GOOD TO SEE AND EXPERIENCE.

Definitely, cleanliness of the hotel and the lotus ponds can be improved. Since it is a large property with massive open spaces, almost like a heritage castle, it might be difficult to keep all corners clean but the property should get more staff and aim for better cleanliness. It took us a day to adjust to the place and we could afford that as we had a 5 night long stay. Suggestion: Hotel could add 1 day sightseeing at nominal charges to the shore temples, lighthouse and crocodile park. this would be great for moms with kids and seniors.

Beach access is perfect. Wonderful ambience and courteous staffs. The sea food eatery near the beach kokomo was wonderful. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable.

Bath tubs in the rooms are not suitable for senior citizens. South indian Breakfast was oily and not satisfactory however north indian food in the breakfast was ok

The Location is great and it has direct access to a public beach. The rooms were all nice and clean and the East Coast Suite which we took was quite large and spacious. The staff are always ready to assist you and the quality of service overall is excellent. The Spa at the resort was also terrific.

The food could have been a little better. I remember the last time we went there, they had a different chef and the food was really quite good, but this time it was not the case. I wouldn't say the food was bad, it wasn't bad by any means, but certainly could have been better
