Excellent location! Right on the beach. Very good breakfast with a view over the beach.

The shower caddy in the bathroom was quite high up on the wall. I’m 1.61m tall and I had to stretch to reach it. It was also shallow and slanted so the items often rolled out. The shaving mirror is also high so thus not very practical.

Location - Near to all the nice restaurants. Right at the beach. The staff at the reception is attentive to your needs. They give an early check in if the room is available. The in house Indian restaurant Mahek served delicious and fresh food. The chef Paul Jose personally greets customers and takes feedback. Went there multiple times because the taste was so good. The beach is bustling and the sunsets are lovely if no clouds.

Noise easily passes from the neighboring rooms to yours. Renovation work is going on, so there is smell of the paint and other adhesives. To some customers they gave complimentary cocktail coupons and to some customers they gave complimentary cocktail coupons plus breakfast coupons. They said they gave me room upgrade ( well thank you if you did ) but then they reminded me atleast 3 times on different occasions that they upgraded the room. The pool/beach towels can be better.

The only reason I gave 8 is that there is a renovation in one wing of the hotel and the noise around the pool and nearby facilities is very loud the whole day.

The location and the staff created the difference. The staff (especially Millie from the reception) was going the extra mile to help us arrange our tours, and celebration moments and very polite and positive staff. We stayed during the new years eve and it was fabulous! Right next to the famous Beau Vallon beach which was just so amazing. Good amount of food options in various restaurants within and outside of the hotel. Strongly recommended!

The hotel is a little bit outdated but it is still functional. They’re renovating it but it didn’t bother us during the stay with noise or anything. Overall, very good experience.

The proximity to the beach, basically on the beach, is awesome. We were there for relaxation only, so served our purposes perfectly. The majority of the staff were very friendly and those that weren't were simply efficient just not overly friendly, so no criticism of the remainder. The Hotel bar is located next to the beach and gives you the opportunity for some stunning sunsets as long as it's not raining ;-) Food is also served to you at the hotel bar from all restaurants within the hotel which makes it real easy if you just prefer to stay outside all night. The staff at the hotel bar were all excellent and I would particularly call out Andrew, MK & Janith as being very attentative, efficient and super friendly. Sampath, I believe, an F&B assistant manager also made us very welcome.

The rooms have seen better years. We were in one of the honeymoon suites with a balcony directly overlooking the beach and the ocean which truly is wonderful. A cool beer on that balcony in the evening was something to look forward to every day ;-) However, they are definitely in need of some refurbishment. I'm not sure if I would have been entirely happy if it had actually been our honeymoon. Nevertheless, the room was always clean, has tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge which helps counter the rather pricey cost of a beer in the hotel bar. Hotel bar prices consistent with prices outside the hotel but you can't beat the prices from the supermarket.

The system they have for f&b payment is annoying. We paid a deposit and charged to our room at meal times but they clearly don’t use this as normal practice so we were doubted every time we tried to do it. I don’t want to carry cash/ cards in the hotel constantly but I hated being questioned whether I was telling the truth that I could charge to my room multiple times a day. I even got accused of not paying on the first evening as they thought I hadn’t left card details with reception. It was humiliating and there was no apology.

the location is good and we had good time. The Indian restaurant is fabulous and the chef Paul is superb. All the staff is friendly and helpful. Sushi restaurant is a must if you like the typo

Our experience here cannot be fully described with just words. We booked this location for 17 nights for our honeymoon and we are extremely grateful and happy for having done this. Even before arriving in the country the customer service was extremely friendly and helpful, due to our honeymoon they offered us multiple upgrades and free drinks and dinners. Since our arrival we felt so pampered by everyone, we almost felt like some sort of VIP. Sakura is just amazing with clients... We booked and ocean view room and we were very happy to hear that our room was entirely new renovated. Great view with balcony, fully accessoried, even with iron and stand, hairdryer, safe, all sorts of gadgets for the higyen that gets replaced daily, even toothbrushes and combs. Talking about hygiene we were extremely impressed by how professional were the people that came to clean, so kind and personal. Anything extra we needed we just got it right away. The location has multiple restaurants available and they are all great, we had enough time to try all of them more than once but with all the respect for the others, the indian restaurant called Mahek is just the best...been there 4 times and we both agreed to be the best Indian restaurant we have ever been. Special thanks to Prasanta for being so helpful and kind and to the chef for always being so available for us. One of the many many perks of the hotel is the pool, very well maintained, big, deep and clean. The ocean is just incredibly beautiful and clean, waking up with the ocean view was just incredible. I want to advise everyone who is booking the hotel to get the breakfast included, this is something that if we would not have got, we would have regretted it. Never seen in any other hotel in the world such a great option of foods. Great great quality, they even have a special person who cooks the eggs in multiple versions and someone who is only focused on crepes and sweets.

Literally everything was amazing

We loved the position, right on the beautiful Beau Vallon beach. All of the staff from housekeeping to reception to security to restaurant were friendly and very helpful. . The rooms were well appointed. We discovered that the refurbishment of our room had been completed 2 weeks before we arrived Another wing is currently under refurbishment but you don't notice too much.

There were only 7 umbrellas for a large number of guests. There were plenty of sun beds on the beach and in the hotel grounds but no additional umbrellas for shade that they could give us. However we found ways around it.

Perfect Relaxing Stay – Highly Recommended! I had an amazing experience at this hotel. The location is perfect — right on the beach, which is cleaned every morning and has no strong tides. It’s peaceful, clean, and ideal for total relaxation. Special thanks to Shihan, the manager, who helped us with everything during our stay and kindly arranged a late check-out — we really appreciated that. Also, shout-out to Shahnazar, who provided helpful tips and recommendations in a very thoughtful and non-intrusive way. If you’re looking for a calm, comfortable, and truly relaxing vacation, this is the place to be. I highly recommend it!
