Great facility, perfect for kids in different ages. Room (Topaz) was huge and comfortable. Bed is huge and easily fit 2 adults plus one kid in comfort.

The food level seems a bit below standard compared to the rest of the resort. We tried the pool restaurant and the Thai restaurant on premise. Both medium value for money.

We stayed for three nights at The Gems Mining Pool Villa and had a fantastic experience overall. Our three-bedroom Ruby villa was beautifully decorated and came with not one, but two swimming pools—including a private one with a jacuzzi that kept us happily entertained the whole time. The big dining table in the villa was perfect for ordering in and enjoying meals by the pool. The large Cast Away pool was another highlight—great for the whole family with tons of fun gadgets and water features to play with.

A couple of things that could be improved: dinner service on our first night was quite slow, and it would be nice to have conditioner provided in the shower room.

The facilities, food, staff, and attention to detail were incredible. The grounds were well kept and everyone we met was welcoming and friendly. The buffet breakfast was delicious with some variations each day. Christmas Day was lovely with a carving station with roast turkey, roast vegetables, Christmas pudding etc We stayed in the 3 bedroom Ruby suite with our family of five. The kids thought having their own ensuite in their bedroom was luxurious. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the pillows were next level amazing! The block out blinds were controlled with a remote and gave us the best nights sleep with no light coming in. Each day the housekeepers came. It was nice to return to a sparkling villa. They made up our beds, provided clean towels, and replenished our water. They also had a tub to place dirty dishes for them to remove in case you preferred to order room service. The room service was at no extra charge which was a bonus.

Regarding the massages at Club Amethyst, I ended up in hospital with severe chest and back pain on my right side. At the conclusion of the massage, the therapists manipulate your body and stretch it into positions that may not be common for other cultures. I ended up with soft tissue damage and even now after 10 days I am still in pain and on anti inflammatory medication. The beginning of the massage was lovely, however, I would wholeheartedly recommend avoiding the stretching or at least asking them to be VERY careful. I did not know what was happening until it was too late. It was very quick and I didn’t have the chance to ask to stop. This was not the ending of our holiday I was hoping for and impacted what I was able to do.

Positives -We stayed in the Topaz room and it was fantastic. -The room is HUGE, and the hot tub was great once we worked out how to use it (you have to fill it until it overflows before the jets will turn on!). -Food was very good. -Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Everybody smiles and says hello as they pass you. Negatives: -The pool music is a bit loud and unnecessary and doesn't really match the vibe of a 5-star hotel. -Massage prices at the spa are insane. 1200 to 3000 range is crazy considering you can get a local massage for a fraction of the cost and this meant we didn't use it even though we had looked forward to it.

This was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Everything was absolutely perfect! The suite was so spacious that I had to call out to my partner if they were on the other side. The breakfast was incredibly diverse, delicious, and a real highlight of our stay. The staff was exceptional – attentive, friendly, and highly professional. This is exactly what a 5-star experience should feel like! I honestly can’t think of anything that could be improved. For our anniversary, they beautifully decorated the bed and surprised us with a bottle of alcohol in the evening. We’d come back in a heartbeat! A huge thank you for making our stay so unforgettable!

I really made the most of the onsen facility, gym was great, pool was big and refreshing. Breakfast buffet was also good and we could request to have some sent to the room after choosing our plates. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, it was my birthday and I asked the poolside staff to keep the opened cake and prosecco for me to bring out at a later time and they were happy to accommodate me.

I'm nitpicking here--personally I found my room a bit too kitschy for my taste (Gold one-bedroom pool villa), although my friend's room (Topaz Jacuzzi) was more tastefully decorated. The poolside restaurant would play music really loud, and I think their playlist could use an update. Overall though everything was extremely comfortable and convenient, I was very happy with my stay there.

The property is faultless: - 2 gyms - very attentive and fun staff - amazing rooms with a lot of thought - excellent menu with an array of cuisines - great pool - Amazing Onsen - Good cocktail hour

These are two very slight faults: - The pool has a large bucket that dunks water every couple of minutes and I witnessed one small child being thrown of the platform by the sheer force of the water, which is dangerous given the child could have hit his head on the platform before falling back into the pool. - The resort is not in walking distance to any shops/restaurants so taxi's are required.

Really impressive hotel, respectful staff who are always appear happy to assist. The hotel security at the front of the premises salute you when passing to show respect and do their jobs well. There are golf buggy drivers around the facility who will move you around the grounds at a request. The facilities are really good such as the gym and communal pools to name a couple. There is a nice attention to detail everywhere around the hotel, the hotel made my anniversary extra special upon arrival. The room was wow, clean spacious, nicely decorated and luxurious with the pool inside the room opposite the bed. The lighting inside the room is also well thought out and looks good during the evening to set a nice vibe. The bathroom was huge and very comfortable. Was really impressed overall with everything, nice breakfast in the mornings and a happy hour at one of the bars in the evening. One could easily stay here for a long period to relax and focus on oneself.

If you’re looking to visit Pattaya Beach or head out in the evenings around Pattaya / Walking street. You will need to get a taxi due to the distance. The hotel felt like it was a bit isolated but there is no real need to leave unless you’re heading into the city.

Great room! Everything is surrounded by greenery! Squirrels are jumping on the branches. Free of charge EV charger. 😉 Golf cart service to the rooms.

Breakfast is great but I’ve seen more varied ones. The air conditioning unit in the room is very noisy. We asked to do something about it. Two technicians came checked the unit. Nothing changed.

The room was amazing, the bed was really comfortable the staff was exceptional and so friendly, one staff member in particular was named "you" I am unsure of the spelling, he was a buggy driver, he was very helpful and friendly also the security gard called "Bang" was very helpful. We will be back. It was a memorable family hoilday, thank you so much. We are so happy we booked at The Gems Mining 💎
