We stayed in one of the beach front bungalows. The high tide came right up to the foundations. If you like going to sleep with the breaking waves, this will be perfect. We loved the location as it is a long way from Pattaya's hustle and bustle, but not too far to see the sites. It's a taxi ride from Bangkok. The hotel is on a large site within tropical gardens. The restaurant is great with good food. It's older but that's what liked, tropical huts away from the highrise of Pattaya. A must visit is the Nong Nock Tropical Gardens, one of the world's top 10 gardens.

Beautiful scenic views and calmness is the best feeling in the resort. Just on the beach.Love to go again.

Peaceful and quiet location. Lovely view and sunset. Ideal for couples. Good selection of food in the restaurant. Good selection of cocktails. Friendly staff, although it helps if you can speak Thai!! Decent enough beach when the tide is high.

You need to be able to speak Thai to fully understand the various choices available from food, facilities, and all the other amenities on site. Other than that a perfect stay for me and the wife.

It’s location beside a beautiful private beach and having a beach hut only a few feet from the sea.

Choices of food was limited, no English books in the library, only German and Russian.

Amazing place , perfect place to relax

Sadly only 2 people can speak English, we having hard time to have communication with the staffs especially in the Restaurant. Such amazing place and the food are amazing , they can make good cocktails but sadly with no English knowledge we oftentimes Communications with Google translate! Over all we have amazing time ‘ the staffs are friendly , u was ask them for privet dinner setting by the beach for hubby birthday surprise and they did wonderful job !

Secluded, well away from the hustle bustle, sea views, sunset views, characterful room. Staff were friendly. Breakfast had decent choice. Pool was also next to the sea, great view. Toilet was outside, a first for me! My family had either their toilet of shower outside.

For me the bed was a little too hard. Noise, the flip side was that the sea wind and waves and wooden hut means not much in terms noise insulation. Trade off from unlimited sea view. Similarly, as the secluded location is great, it needed booked transport to head out to the city, fair enough. It won't be the cheapest stay as meal prices reflected higher end, but not overly so.

Beautiful property, very professional staff, and friendly. I enjoyed my meals, breakfast, and dinner, which was very fresh food and delicious. Great view of the beach from my room .Two beautiful pools, very nice sauna and fitness center. I will be returning real soon..

The locarion by the absolute traffic free seaside was faboulous. Perfect for families. Good breakfast in the best of seaside worlds. Fresh air far from big city disturbance.

Bungalows not up to date however comfortable. Hot water function not perfect. Grwat with minibar.

We were looking for something away from the crowds of Pattaya. The Sunset Village beach resort is in a great location, very quiet and peaceful, right on the beach. Exactly what we were looking for. Food was great and reasonably priced. Staff were very polite and friendly. If in this area again I would come back to Sunset Village.
