This hotel is neat, clean, personel very helpful (they speak english, too), in the very heart of the old town near the beach & small port. Breakfast offers a sufficient choice for an average traveller. Room was clean and comfortable. WiFi works

There is not much to complain about. Perhaps worth mentioning a rumor from a nearby restarurant, which lasts till very late night, which can disturb you, while having an open window. With closed windows and ear cushions, you can sleep calmly :-)

The property is centrally located in Old Town, Kaleiçi walking distance from Mermerli Beach, Old Town restaurants/pubs and the trams/busses. The hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and always available. The breakfast is great - wide variety. We had a standard room and was compact but had the necessary amenities apart from a kettle - hot water/tea/coffee was available in the bar area. Water was supplied to the room. We visited in July (extremely hot) and unfortunately the swimming pool (as shown above) was closed from 19:00 which was a bit disappointing but understandable since there are rooms right next to the pool. Still would have been great to swim in the heat;)

walls are not well sound proof. we can hear people talking and having sexy time in the other rooms which is disturbing especially at 3am in the morning. pool was also closed.

Noise. The bar is loud every night. Bring earplugs or a white noise machine if you’re a light sleeper as myself. Noise also from rooms. Just about every hotel I’ve stayed at in Turkey is like this, so just might be how they’re built. But just keep in mind you can hear your neighbors and they can hear you. I also think people need to be more mindful in a hotel. Shower is very small. Lighting in bathroom is too dark. Definitely could use a brighter bulb or two. Maybe put some shelving under the sink as it’s dead space.. (I was solo, but counter space would be rough for more than one person)

The Aspen is very conveniently located within walking distance to "everything'. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. I come here regularly - out of the summer season ...

The staff at reception were really welcoming and helpful recommending trips and organising airport taxis for us. The bar staff were really attentive and made lovely cocktails. The room was basic but had everything we need. Really close to restaurants/bars and the beach was 2 minutes away!

The pool area was quite small and only a few sun beds but we knew this upon booking so it was expected.

Location was excellent a couple of minutes walk to the harbour. Staff were lovely, attentive and couldn’t have been more accommodating. The hotel is right in the centre of old town Kaleici, down a quiet street barely big enough for a car but wasn’t affected by noise at all. When we left for the airport at 3:30am, Kaleici was bouncing with holiday makers enjoying the nightlife. In the hotel you’d have assumed everybody in the town was tucked up in bed. That makes it an excellent location.

Breakfast selection was very limited. Coffee or water for example. Hot food was boiled eggs, omelette and chips. No toaster. I’m in Turkey, maybe they provide a Turkish breakfast. I get it but add some beans, a toaster, yoghurt and juices and it would be very much improved for an international clientele. Very few sun beds but there was space for others, especially in the shaded areas around the pool. The pool image above shows sun beds in locations where there weren’t any.

The location is great, the heart of old town, plenty of restaurants around and closest beach is 5 min walk. the beach is private and costs 70TL per person, sun lounger and umbrella included. hotel is clean and facilities are great staff very friendly and helpful

the nightclub next door with very loud dance music until 2/3am every day. cannot sleep with open window and can hear the music once all windows are closed, not much night sleep the quality of breakfast, not many hot food options, the price is too high for what has been offered

We had no expectations of this hotel, but we were pleasantly surprised. Hotel is very well taken care of, the owner visibly cares about this place and invests back into the property. The location is great, close to everything. We saw the sea and mountains from our room. Next time we will for sure invest into a bigger room and breakfast. Loved the garden very much. We also noticed the good cleanliness of this hotel. 9.5, good value for money.
