Great services, building facilities and staff. Lots of nice little 5 star touches.

Nothing really to complain about - had a couple minor plumbing and heating issues with the room but I just mentioned it to the front desk when I left to run an errand and everything is always addressed within 20 minutes, quite seemlesly. Also a little funny that on the first day I forgot to put a do not disturb sign on the door and someone knocked on my door to ask for laundry and to clean the room at 8:30am. Vietnamese people start their day earlier than the rest of the world it seems, so need to keep the do not disturb sign up if you would like to sleep in, past 9!

What is odd about this property is that the bedrooms were designed too small for the beds. Apart from that the property rates well on each of the important criteria. The staff are good, the girls are efficient in the rooms, everything is fine - except one thing.....

The rooms are too small for the beds, with the gap between the cupboards and the beds being around 30cm or less. I have thin skin, and in trying to navigate between wall and cupboard, I lost a heap of skin by engaging an edge, releasing a strong blood flow! Also my side of the bed had no side table or lamp, always a disappointment. The closure of bars is also disappointing, but may be unavoidable? Overall, a plus I guess, notwithstanding these issues. The separation of reception between Floors 1 and 6 is odd, but I guess not really an issue

Return customers. The best thing about the hotel is the staff, especially the breakfast and restaurant staff. Very friendly and attentive.

Not the hotel fault but the Highland cafe is no longer available downstairs. The gym needs an upgrade. Ground level front desk could be more informative and helpful.

Good location, staff were very helpful. Best of all, the breakfast buffet was very good, a variety of choices, and it tasted delicious. The English pudding was very nice, like all the other food at breakfast.

Breakfast ends at 9 am on weekdays, which is too early. I wish this could be extended to 9:30 am.

View, overall standard of hotel for Hai Phong and room were great. price also was great and that it was cancel anytime.

The check in was a little slow and the room service was rather persistent at 8.50am to make room up. I think suggest room service don't make quite so much noise to wake up the occupant as they are probably not answering because they're asleep. Further check the check out schedule and you'd now a guest is only booked 1 night and doesn't need room making up. I feel this is a basic for 5* hotels. But overall everyone was great. Wait for taxi was very long but it was 2 days after Tet so we understand.

A prominent hotel in a good location easy access to and from Cat Ba Do Son etc.Breakfasts excellent. Mainly business travellers but cheaper than lower grade hotel I stayed at in Hanoi.

Unfortunately the swimming pool was undergoing maintenance and was unavailable but gym and spa/massage operating.

Good breakfast and restaurant with some nice vegetarian options. The room size is good, All facilities are modern and clean. The gym is well equipped and we felt very welcome during our stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful in every situation.

Great customer service. Very accommodating and polite staffs. I would love to stay here again. Highly recommended. Thank you for our lovely stay.

Maybe the massage room can be a bit warmer especially when the weather is currently cold.
