What truly sets Ladera apart is the sense of privacy and seclusion. With open-wall suites and thoughtful design, you’re completely immersed in nature without sacrificing comfort. Ladera also offers a diverse and well-curated selection of experiences, from culinary adventures to cultural immersions. One standout was the local fish fry night, which captured the heart and soul of St. Lucian culture with amazing food by Ladera's exceptional chef, music, and community vibes. The attention to detail across the entire property—whether in the service, design, or guest experience—was of high quality. It was the little touches that made a big impact: the thoughtful treats left in the room, the warm, curated wine and rum rooms (though the rum room could use a bit less air conditioning to better reflect the island vibe), and the seamless way every need seemed anticipated. Having a mobile phone provided to contact staff at any time was a thoughtful and convenient touch that made us feel supported and looked after. A little more island soul on-site with more evening experiences would bring even more depth to the stay. Meeting Christian and Sonja, the resort's managers, was an absolute pleasure. Their presence and genuine hospitality gave a unique character to the resort—warm, attentive, and sincerely welcoming. Their passion for guest experience clearly resonates throughout the team and property.

If I really have to suggest something: - A little more island soul on-site with more evening experiences would bring even more depth to the stay. - Our room could have had a better shower experience.

Ladera exceeded all expectations ! The resort was beautiful and the rooms felt like something out of a movie or magazine. Along with THE BEST customer service I’ve ever experienced. The employees really do care about your stay and will go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. The resort also has a nature trail that takes you to a platform overlooking the pitons where you can do yoga every morning. Then further down is a 300 year old, 5 story mango tree house, and next to this is an outdoor gym. And can’t forget about dashees restaurant, all the food was so fresh! The whole resort and vibe is a once in a lifetime experience, I told all my friends and family about this resort and we will definitely be returning !

Wonderful location, wonderful staff. You can do trails nearby, you can go to Sugar Beach. THe restaurant is really good. No wonder Oprah goes to dine there

They nickel and dime you everywhere in St. Lucia. Whether you take a taxi, have a meal, everything is overpriced. It didn't bother me but the hotel should say that the rooms have no air conditioning. Several Americans complained about that

Breakfast was excellent and the staff comprising of Lee, Nadasa, Vianney and all the team (I can't remember all their names) were extremely helpful, polite and super friendly.

We had problems with hot water in our first room. So we were moved to an upgraded room. But that also ran out of hot water as it was solar panel operated. So it was a bit disappointing that such an expensive resort had such basic issues.

All staff members were absolutely amazing and the resort itself is fantastic!

Huge disappointment in that we did not get the room that we booked which was called the "Hilltop Dream Suite" and was the only reason we splurged on this resort. We have to assume that this happened since we booked through booking.com versus booking with the resort directly. I will include pics of our view which is what you are paying for and our view was not the view that we paid for. We only got to spend two nights at this amazing property for a total sum of $5,122.70 which is way beyond our budget for a two night stay, but we splurged since it was our honeymoon trip.

Location was superb. We really enjoyed the plunge pool every evening and seeing all the stars above. The view during the day was specatular. The staff was attentive, exceptional service.

This place is everything you see in the photos. The views from the room were spectacular. Just be aware that you are sleeping in a room with just three walls so you feel very much connected with the surrounding nature. it’s wonderful but may not be for everyone. the resort also has a wonderful small hike.

Ladera is a fantastic place - we felt like in our wonderful private paradise. The staff were most welcoming and attentive to our needs. The Heritage suite we stayed in was truly magical with stunning view, extremely comfortable bed and a warm pool to swim under the stars. Also the food was absolutely delicious. The hotel provides shuttle to the beach, and the staff is always available to assist with any bookings for experiences and attractions.

This place is pure magic!! the VIEWS!!!! Everything as advertised, we’ve been all over the world and this is my favorite resort ever! Attentive staff without being overly stuffy. Gorgeous petit piton suite J was incredible!!

Nothing! Everything was perfection! If I HAVE to pick something, I wish the shuttle to sugar beach viceroy was no charge, but, 40.00 isn’t bad.
