We loved our stay at the Ascott. The location is excellent with lots of cafes and restaurants around. It’s located on a bustling and very clean street. It’s also very close to the corniche and other sights of attraction. The amenities and furniture are really clean and comfortable. The suite came with a dishwasher and a washer dryer so that was very convenient. I recommend booking a sea view room because honestly the view is unbeatable. The staff were really helpful and the reception sent us a fruits plate after check in which was a nice gesture.

The TV is a bit old with no smart streaming apps. And we couldn’t pair our phones to it as well. We ended up watching our shows on the laptop. This may not be an issue to some but as a family traveling with a baby we needed to stay in at night and we were hoping to get some entertainment to watch. We had an incident upon checkout where the bellboy didn’t show up for more than 30 minutes and I had to haul our luggage by myself to the car and usually I wouldn’t mind but since we were traveling as a family there was a lot of luggage and I would’ve appreciated the help. Perhaps this can be improved in the future.

I always choose this hotel for my stays in Khobar. The rooms are spacious, clean, quiet if you choose a non sea facing room as the traffic on the sea side of the hotel sometimes gets hectic and can be a bit noisy late into the night. There's a host of restaurants, coffee shops all within a walking distance of the hotel.

The rooms need a little more light in the evening. The lamp shade can be a bit much as it dulls the room, but the maintenance guys took out mine and the room felt a lot brighter afterwards. Parking in the basement sometimes is tight and if you have a bigger car or SUV, its a bit of gymnastics maneuvering out of it.

Nice and new furniture, smart TV, clean floors and toilets, shower box/hot water, sea view, parking area, location near many coffee shops and restaurants, deregulator and Frazer, washing machine, dish washer, swimming pool, and a small fitness room.

The kitchen was not equipped with cutlery at first, and I had to request for the cutlery. The fire alarm was triggered at night but the fire alarm was not equipped with a flashing lights (needed to confirm that the continues peep sound was indeed a fire alarm sound).

Bedroom with twin beds is very spaceous modern fitout; bed and linen incredibly comfortable. Bedroom smells really good, abd housekeeping kept it that way each day. There is ample power points for charging in this gadget dependent world. Room lights have separate switches which make it more easy to control room lighting. Bathroom is spaceous and closet space is big. Location is good with many restaurants and cafe nearby. The Khobar Water Tower and Corniche are only a few minutes walk. Sky Lounge on top floor offers a great view of the water tower and surround. Staff are very helpful.

There's only 1 small window in the room, but may not be the case in other rooms. There is no in-house restaurant for breakfast. If guests want to include breakfast it is with the Lebanese restaurant on the same building, where breakfast options are limited.

Lovely, spacious, comfortable room, well maintained. Spotless, quiet, great bed. The Sky Lounge was pleasant, breakfast very nice. Close to lots of restaurants and cafes, a few minutes from the Corniche.

They market Green Key credentials but I entered the room, every single light on and AC at 18! Kitchen a bit strange, I found a potato peeler & bottle opener but no spoons for the tea & coffee or any other cutlery....

+ The location is good considering there's a lot of nearby coffee shops in the area. + Fast Checkout + Staff are accomodating and the cleaners greet each time you pass by.

- Someone is calling at early morning - The water in the face basin is clogged. Though its manageable, but still it needs maintenance.

I did not give 10 or 9 for some reasons: scale was not working I told the reception, no action was done. The safe was not working neither and I told the reception and no action was taken either. there was a family next to our room with a door between us, we could hear the noise of the kids.

Room Service staff are the best team I have ever delt with

I requested an extra blanket for the kids because it was very cold (although I had three small blankets and I had turned off the AC) but the receptionist did not care.

I was really surprised by this property. I loved it! the one-bedroom suite/apartment is very spacious, with nice decor. The view to the sea enhance the entire experience. Wish I could have spent more time in the room!

In general it was nice, good quality of furniture and finishing, nice view of the sea, some of the staff were friendly, the suite contains all the appliances you need.

Awful smell of food and cooking is everywhere in the property, also the smell of fridge inside the suite is terrible!, Poor menu of room service.
