Very friendly staff, serene location overlooking nature The views of the snow capped Himalayas on a 🌞 day that was exceptional. The food fresh,tasty n large portions. Hot shower everything abt this place is super awesome.

The walk to get to the place for first timers can be discouraging but overall experience is worth it.

If you are looking for a perfect Staycation Property, then this one's for you. Hike to the property is a nice and new experience. The view and scenery from the property is amazing, and so is the food they serve. Their hospitality is top-notch. I enjoyed my 4 days stay immensely and would love to visit this property in the future as well. Really appreciate all the kindness I was extended at this property:)) Please do tip the porter generously.

Nothing there to dislike honestly. Some people may find trek to the property bit exhausting, so please do ensure you are healthy and athletic enough to go deep down.

Had an amazing experience staying here. Everything about this property is 10/10. The porter who helped carry our luggage is a humble guy (we’ll make sure to carry our bagpacks instead of suitcases next time I’m here). Staff is welcoming and smiling. They gave pretty awesome suggestions to do things around, they helped us make our experience even better. Dogs Ceaser and Gabaar took my heart away! And the property in itself is breathtaking. It is so quiet, you can only hear birds chirping around the mountains. The way property is designed is commendable! Every cottage has privacy even from sitting outside. Hats off to Anirudhha and team! I will definitely come back here.

A beautiful place in the middle of forest . You need to go take a taxi or personal vehicle from nainital to Tanki band , there you will get the porter from hostel to receive you , now park your vehicle , & take route through forest to the hostel, it takes arpund 15 minutes to reach the location, not a easy trek , but not very difficult , avoid taking senior members of family , you need to come back to hostel before the sunset , bcz it may not be very safe to roam in jungle in dark . Overall an amazing stay , away from the ruckus of the main city , yet close . The food was also nice.( little bit on costlier side ) but in the middle of forest in mountains, the location it is justifiable.

The location was splendid ( although the hike through the forest is best suited for a younger crowded and not for kids). The food and services on offer were excellent, and the staff was very helpful!

If you are coming in winters, you may find the heating arrangements to be inadequate - although this can be attributed to the fact that its a truly 'off grid' setup with only a small diesel genset for power .

Location and clean property with very good staff. Staff takes care of you very nicely. Location is amazing. Porter guy is amazing.

The Staff is very good and responsive . The facilities and food are amazing . The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable.

The location is very remote which is not apparent while booking the property. The trek to the Zostel must be marked with arrows for people to reach there . Besides since the property is located very far away from the centre . The hostel must engage the guests with many activities like other hostels so that they wish to come back again and recommend more to the people in traveling community.

Staying at Zostel was an incredible experience. The staff provided excellent service, and the food was absolutely delicious. The cost was also quite reasonable. The property is situated in a serene hilly area, and to reach it, you have to trek for about two and a half kilometers, which provides an excellent hiking experience. The people in the vicinity, especially the porter, were very friendly. The receptionist and other staff members also contributed to making our stay a great one.

One drawback of staying at Zostel was the intermittent availability of electricity during certain hours of the night. However, this minor inconvenience did not detract from the overall positive experience of our stay.

The breakfast and service were exemplary. The location is serene and a quiet stroll amidst the scenic flora and fauna of the forest reserve. The roperty is well maintained.

The ruckus created within dorm could have been been noted by manager. The manager to keep a stern eye on maintaining the decorum of the dorm for those who are travelling solo.

Property is well maintained and staff welcomes you with a smile. It feels like a resort when you enter zostel's property. If you are planning staycation in nainital then this property is for you.
