We stayed in this property for 2 nights. Main purpose was to visit Kainchi Dham Ashram of Neem Karoli Baba . This facility is nestled among pine trees in a quiet corner of Nainital.Owned by a royal family and maintained by ITC heritage group. Checkin was effortless.The premises are kept very neat.The room was clean. Bed linen was fresh .Bathroom was neat.We stayed in Heritage room which was on first floor.It was spacious and opened to a large common balcony. We stayed in September, a rainy shoulder month for Nainital .So there were less guests at the facility. We had opted for free breakfast. Probably because the guests were less , there was no breakfast buffet. Breakfast was made to order and was tasty . Special thanks to Manager Farhan Ansari who took extra care to make our stay comfortable and also for arranging our transport from Pant nagar airport. Mall road is some 3 kms. away. You may have to arrange a conveyance yourselves to reach there.Good if there was some buggy drop off service from the hotel side.

loved the location - walking distance from the Mall Road but still away from the crowds :) Staff - I always feel that it’s the people who make or break your vacation and this was soo true for Ashdale. the staff was amazing - always checking if we had eaten. we had a 1.5 year old baby with us - and the staff was always happy to prepare special meals for him property - while there are few things that could be looked but the garden just outside our room was soo perfect for children to run around and play.

I wouldn’t say I didn’t like - but things that can be improved were - little bit more lighting in the rooms, washrooms can do with little bit more work. but those are minor aspects if we look at our overall vacation

The property is very well maintained. The staff is just wonderful and always ready to assist you with a smile. It is one of the rare places where one can see that the staff really enjoys what they do and so it translates in their interaction with you.

It would be great if the property itself had a shuttle service at regular intervals to and from Mall road. Getting a cab everytime is super expensive and getting around without a cab with an elderly family member is impossible. A simple tempo traveller would be great.

The property was well maintained with a lovely view of the mountains from the terrace and a well maintained lawn on the ground floor. Everything was very clean, simple and elegant. The place was quiet and serene. The service was attentive and friendly.

Can’t think of anything I did not like

We stayed for 2 nights. Staff extremely helpful, friendly, providing information how to get around Nanital and what to see. The hotel photos accurately depict room and facilities. The in-house dining was very good. We had buffet breakfast each day and dinner one night. Hotel has a great past world charm.

The maintenance and upkeep could have been better. Our room had big cracks near the entrance door which were not repaired, which is not expected from an ITC property. Also, in a property like this, more activities and food options would be nice.

Location, 800m from the busy Mall road Well maintained property Manager Mr. Pawan Kumar was very helpful in helping us to plan our city tour. Pleasant surprise when they upgraded my room and packaged snack on the checkout day.

Breakfast can include more options South India Idli / Sambar wasn't that great.

This is a very beautiful hotel offering lots of peace with a delightful view of Ayarpata Hill range. Hotel’s location is good, close to the main market. Staff was supportive, they take utmost care of their guests. The rooms and bathroom has all facilities available for all your needs. In resturant area you can enjoy the live music with best food served by a professional chef. Do try their Chilli Chicken. It is worth every bit. The rooms were really clean and housekeeping team gave a special note for my mother which was indeed a great personal touch. Worth recommending to everyone.

Nothing. The stay was extremely comfortable and I enhhoyed the experience.

The location is excellent, just 2-3 minutes from the mall road,the property itself is very peaceful and tastefully done.Away from the crowds.The staff is very helpful and courteous.The rooms are beautifully done up and quite spacious.The bathroom had modern fittings and good hot water. View from the property is amazing.Location is a plus as it is within walking distance to the lake. Thank you all at WelcomHeritage Ashdale. We will definitely be coming back.

Over property was excellent and the best part is Staff and their behavior. Staff is awesome.

In the middle of night the AC went of both the days. That was little frustrating. Rest all was good.
