The property is beautiful, has a very tranquil vibe. The pond at the reception, calm music that plays everywhere and the greenery were our favourite touches. The staff also went an extra mile to accommodate our special request to celebrate my parents’ anniversary, which was so so nice of them, we appreciate and thank them very much :)

Breakfast and quality of food overall requires improvement. We were served extremely oversalted fish on our first dinner, asked for a sugar lime soda and received a sugar AND SALT soda (which we couldn’t drink). Breakfast options were good but lacked flavour (no complaints about the live counter, everything from there was very good), juices felt super diluted.

Amazing !! No words to describe on how amazing and clean this place is. The fact that it’s sooo neat and so sharp. 8 don’t have words to describe. The place is soo peaceful. My special thanks to Mr Albin - he has been one of the most humble and amazing host, with his constant assistance and my endless needs , a very dedicated person to serve us the best. and also Mr Kartik to help keep patient with our endless inquiry.infact all the staffs are amazing. From the food service to guard they have been the most humble and always with the best smile on their faces. The rooms are spacious and neat. Love and the best experience. My first trip to India and I can say I ended it in the best way.

Went with my family to celebrate my wife's birthday. The stay was excellent. Excellent hospitality from all the staff there, especially Mr. Faizan and Mr. Vipin. All our requests such as spa and pool access, birthday cake request, etc. were handled graciously by the staff. Special mention to Mr. Abraham, Mr. Lijo, and Mr. Ijaz. Thank you so much for the love and care during our visit. Definitely recommend!

I recently stayed with my family for one night at Great Trails Wayanad by GRT Hotels, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The property has a premium feel, with high-quality facilities and supplies provided throughout our stay. We were warmly welcomed with a complimentary high tea and were pleasantly surprised by an upgrade to a villa with a balcony, which made the stay even more special. The staff, particularly the receptionist, was very courteous and helpful, making our check-in smooth and pleasant. The room itself was beautifully designed and comfortable, though we did encounter a small issue where water from the hot tub leaked into the room. Fortunately, this was a minor inconvenience in an otherwise great stay. The pool had a stunning view, but its depth of only 4 feet was a bit disappointing for those hoping for a deeper swim. Breakfast was another highlight, with a variety of options. Due to low occupancy, the food was served à la carte, and while the quality was good, the service was slower than expected. One of the added perks was a complimentary foot massage, which was a nice touch. However, the massage staff seemed uncomfortable with the fact that we were coming in for a complimentary service, which detracted slightly from the relaxation experience. All in all, our stay at Great Trails Wayanad was very enjoyable, with excellent service, amenities, and a relaxing atmosphere. The minor issues we encountered didn't overshadow the overall experience, and I would definitely consider visiting again. It is highly recommendable for anyone looking for a premium getaway in Wayanad. With a few small improvements, it could be even better next time!

Can't recommend enough this wonderful resort. Design of the resort itself is so close to the nature, you'll feel relaxed and peaceful. Staff at the resort deserves a special appreciation for their attention to detail for every small thing they to do make guests stay a memorable one. Food at the resort is delicious, especially the breakfast buffet which contains multiple local delicacy. Albin from the reception team and Chef Sheriful and Satish were very helpful and professional for our special requests! Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Brilliant location and property, very nice rooms, and super staff all around. F&B was very well managed - lots of options, also very accommodating. It was super being able to take the pet along, 5 star pet treatment as well.

Very cosy resort and friendly staff. Every touch point was a pleasant experience. Staff were hospitable and very warm. GM Anu Shinoj needs a special call out for her friendly demeanor and her very positive attitude towards her guests. Met Balagurunathan VP Food & Beverage a very pleasant gentleman. All in all an enjoyable experience.

They could have more fun activities every evening and food can improve. This is not a criticism but scope for improvement.

Great , well equipped, large and comfortable rooms. Warm staff . Great views of the valleys and hills.

Besides the room and reception/ sining area there wasn’t much space to walk or do anything much.

Family Friendly Place, Very courteous staff, Good Service, Convenient location, clean rooms, modern feel, brand new hotel. They have a small kids play area and good bunch of activities all day long. The staff gives good suggestions about places to visit and try out based on guests age and capacity. Rooms are nice and modern with Wi-Fi.

It is definitely not 5 star as claimed by Booking.com. Spa does not have all the services in the brochure. Tables in the dinning area have metal edges and not toddler friendly. Gym is barely equipped and tight even to do a push ups. Over all there is 1 thread mill, 1 elliptical and 1 bicycle, whole bunch of weights and 1 bench. If the hotel was full this would be barely sufficient. Swimming pool does not have a skimmer to catch first and bugs and is full of dead bugs on the sides. Adding a skimmer would catch all that even if it’s outdoor and in forest type of area.
