Absolutely wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, everyone at the hotel was incredibly nice and welcoming. The staff were always smiling and went out of their way to be helpful, which made us feel truly valued as guests. The apartment itself was cozy, making us feel right at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a warm and inviting place to stay.

While we enjoyed our stay overall, there was one aspect that could be improved: the mattresses. Unfortunately, they weren’t very comfortable, which made it a bit difficult to get a good night’s sleep. With better mattresses, the experience would have been perfect.

Staff were very helpful and kind. We missed our flight to Tivat and had to fly to Dubrovnik instead, they still managed to get a shuttle to us. The driver offered to drive us to all the places we wanted to go for cheaper/similar price to other taxi services we had seen. They also helped us get from Budva to Dubrovnik when our ferry was cancelled last minute and at the point we had finished our stay at the hotel. Our room with a balcony facing the bay had incredible views, had ample storage with a large comfy bed, and a much-needed working AC. The bathroom was nice and clean. Breakfast was okay, they ran out of the item we wanted, but we were fairly late so it is to be expected. We would definitely stay here again!

The property was in a fantastic location with amazing views. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was probably the most comfortable we have ever slept on. Breakfast was also excellent. You will not find a better view anywhere while eating your breakfast than hotel Admiral. On our last morning we had to leave early so the staff gave us sandwiches and juices to take with us on our trip. We considered this to be very thoughtful. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Liked everything

Everything went well. Our flight to Tivat, the nearest airport was delayed, and we missed the first night of our reservation, stuck in Belgrade, but once we got to Perast, everything went smoothly. I have never seen a nicer staff anywhere, Ancica and Vera in reception, Snezana in housekeeping, and Sanja, Zorica, Rade, Rajko, Mijo and Dejan, who waited on us in the hotel restaurant, and Milena, the wife of the hotel owner were so helpful, genuinely nice, and so good at their jobs. It's such a personal experience to be in a small hotel. I would also like to compliment the restaurant's chefs and cooks, even though I don't know their names. Our 11-night stay was split between 2 rooms, and both had views of the bay,

There wasn't anything we disliked.

The location could not have been better. The hotel is located in the middle of the little village, quite convenient to many restaurants and attractions. Even though we were in a lower level, back room, we had a lovely view of the water from one of the windows. We ate at the hotel’s restaurant three times—once for dinner and twice for breakfast. Our server for two of those meals, Sonia (sp?), was fantastic and made our stay even more pleasant.

This is fairly minor so it doesn’t factor much into our review, but the bathroom had a slight odor to it that perhaps might have been coming from the alley behind. Otherwise, it was a very nicely appointed bathroom (as well as overall little apartment).

We liked the patio restaurant and the attentive but not obtrusive staff. We liked the access to street parking and the convenient golf cart transportation for our luggage to the hotel. The reception manager promptly answered my call and helped when i left my key card in the room to help me get back in. It was hottt around 34 C when we visited and the air conditioning worked very well. The embroidered hotel towels were nice and added to the uniqueness of the hotel. It was walking distance to some small markets and there was plenty of closet space. My friend was in a room with a small balcony and we spent time out there in the evening watching the sun set and turn the western mountains pink and enjoyed the lights from the towns across the water when it turned dark.

There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like about this hotel. It was recommended by a friend and I would stay there again. The electrical burden on the town was high and the town experienced some short blackout periods that were quickly resolved (around 15-30 minutes).

Hotel admiral was peaceful, comfortable, clean, and beautiful. Perast doesn't allow vehicle traffic except locals in the summer so it is quaint and small -very walkable- you park outside the city and then hotel staff pick you up in a golf cart to bring you in. You can easily walk it as well but it is very nice to have a pick up and drop off with your luggage coming and going. The excellent AC kept the room very nice, and it was warm outside - so tested and true. The dining terrace was literally on the water and so beautiful. All the food was delicious, really fresh fish, the breakfasts had lots of choice and everything we ate was delicious. The desserts were also really good. The view from the window was stunning. The water is clear and beautiful blue. You can take a little dive off the piers close to the hotel or walk a few hundred feet down to the public beach area that has a couple of piers and some trees for shade. There are so many wonderful ice cream shops nearby too. Maybe the crowning glory of the stay was the exceptional staff. Ancica was at reception when we first arrived and was incredibly helpful, cheerful, and had really good recommendations. Whether it was the wait staff, the reception, maintenance, cleaning, the entire staff was so kind and wonderful that we were saddest to leave them. Perast is a 20 minute drive from Kotor, but we were looking for a place to have a restful vacation away from many crowds and it was perfect. Close enough to see other things, but far enough that we felt like we found our own little paradise.

I was perfectly satisfied, but as items for people to consider in case it matters to them; others might find the parking situation difficult it is a 6 min walk or so from your vehicle. There are limited shops nearby - just the nature of staying in a perfect little town rather than a city, but should you want some supplies they wouldn't be readily available. It can be warm, and al fresco dining (all meals) was beautiful but outside in the heat. We never had an issue - but if you are heat sensitive come when the weather will be best suited for you.

Fantastic hotel. Everyone was so friendly. It’s a family run hotel. The proprietress, Milena, was so helpful. Her brother does boat tours, and we booked through her, and he did a great job as well. The hotel has the best outdoor dining in Perast. Breakfasts there were super pleasant. Highly recommend.

Perast is car free. Not a knock on the hotel. But be prepared to park at either end of the town and take their golf cart in with your baggage.

Great location in Perast and the three bedroom apartment suited our group perfectly. It was very clean and with a nice kitchen that we did not make use of. Note that the stairs up to the bedrooms are steep, and there is one small bathroom upstairs and a bigger bathroom down. The bedrooms are on the small side but were fine for us. The owner Milena was delightful as were all of the staff we interacted with, especially Sanja. Breakfast was served in a wonderful spot over the water. If driving, you park just outside of town and can walk or the hotel will pick you up in a golf buggy. Good communication from Milena. We enjoyed our stay with Hotel Admiral!

Nothing much, except the beds were different from what we are accustomed to, a bit firm.

We stayed in the 3 bed apartment which is a great location and right on the bay front. It is a pretty little house tucked away beside the hotel entrance and has a courtyard in front of the property which is nice to sit in. The staff were really friendly and helpful and looked after us very well - from an early breakfast on check out day to helping with booking trips.

The downstairs kitchen/lounge and bathroom areas were a bit tired. There’s an atm at the front of the courtyard garden which spoils the view of the Bay of Kotor a little.
